Saying that does remind me, that for all the times TA gives me the rage, it's nothing like the TV soaps, and I do actually love it.

Surely his broken relationship with his parents will be scrutinised for starters. Will his ex- wife's opinion be sought? He'll need references I expect from family and friends. And Helen is going to be questioned closely. She's bound to betray her doubts.

To put another view. I think he does genuinely love Henry and Helen but he isn't capable of empathy and by always putting his needs first he is being abusive

He would probably say it wasn't rape. He's probably totally oblivious to the idea that the people he love won't do exactly what he wants them to. And if they don't do what he wants he gets angry but it's their fault.
