Won't someone please give Kenton a kick in the FA Cup Finals, and a link to Money Saving Expert?

I missed it! Wa it kate 'saving' phoebes virginity???

lljkk · 03/07/2015 20:08

I strongly suspect the cherry was already well plucked by the time K walked in on them.
I hope Phoebe plots to poison K, I truly do.

Merse · 03/07/2015 20:23

But we don't know if Feebs was an enthusiastic participant… I am definitely in the 'Alex is deeply creepy' camp. Wonder if she was rather steamrolled into whole thing.

lljkk · 03/07/2015 20:28

Maybe Kate chucked him out because he wasn't doing it right. Kate will have to show him better technique so he can come up the standard K. expects is the minimum her DD should settle for.

R4 · 03/07/2015 20:33

CUP: I won't go into detail but let's say there were sound effects ... at least until Kate blundered in. Instead of being apologetic she did a good impersonation of an outraged Victorian papa.
Poor Feebs.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 03/07/2015 20:56

Kate's hypocrisy is extraordinary, even for Kate. She must have been about Phoebe's age when she took up with Polyester Man Roy.

I was cheering Brian on earlier.

squeaver · 03/07/2015 22:00

Yep, well done, Rocknroll - almost bang (sorry) on prediction there.

I didn't think Alex sounded quite so creepy tonight, except when he was sucking up to Jenny-darling. Brian saw through him, though - takes one randy devil to know one.

It'll be interesting to see how Roy and Hayley react - bring them closer together again, maybe? (fingers crossed).

Do we think Knob smuggled in some polonium when he was oh-so helpfully moving Christine in?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/07/2015 22:05

The noises were a bit much. Safe to say phoebe is no longer a virgin and will probably be scarred for life by her mothers intervention.

And all because Kate was bored and wanted someone to talk to.

How is phoebe going to explain this one to her dad and grandparents though. She is justifiably going to be angry but hard and embarrassing to explain why. I guess Hayley will understand

I wonder if she will move back in with Roy

CuttedUpPear · 03/07/2015 22:30

Why will Feebs have to explain anything to her dad and Brine though?

Sorry, living vicariously through you lot....

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/07/2015 22:45

Just if they want to know why she is even angrier with Kate than usual!

minkGrundy · 04/07/2015 02:01

I doubt she'll be angry. I reckon mortified and silent on the topic.
But then I was totally wrong about Kate's reaction which I thought was quite iut of character.
Unless she doesn't want P repeating her mistake.

I thoight Brine and Jinny were classic with Kate earlier though over the yurts.

PseudoBadger · 04/07/2015 07:18

Kate is 'trying' to be the mum she should've been a few years ago. But she's too late. Phoebe must be livid and so embarrassed.
Thread titles anyone? Short and sweet preferably.

I second Zero's request for beardy weirdies to feature somehow!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 04/07/2015 07:51

I have a horrible fear that Kate is going to explain her behaviour by having been date raped or lost her virginity in a horrid way. So her reaction was through fear for her daughter.

But I can't see the sw being able to deal with that properly atm - particularly with Kate who we have known all these years. And then her decades long behaviour will be explained by this event and then it will be forgotten.

R4 · 04/07/2015 08:05

Feebs will be so traumatised by this, and other aspects of Kate's behaviour, that she will go off to live with Hayley another one of the Tuckers culled from the cast list, only Roy to go now.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 04/07/2015 08:16

Don't say that r4!! She's one of the only decent young characters

lljkk · 04/07/2015 08:59

title = "Will sensible Feebs finally teach her mother to grow up?"

R4 · 04/07/2015 09:21

title = "All the Alldridges together in one place. What could possibly go wrong?"

songbird · 04/07/2015 09:32

Oh god, how mortifying?! "don't you Kate me" hehe - how very Brian of her to say that!

It would be great if it transpires that feebs has already confided in Hayley who gave her good solid mum advice on the subject. Although I wouldn't blame Alex for running for the hills, I hope he doesn't dump feebs now he got what he wanted (sort of).

songbird · 04/07/2015 09:33

And BOOP BOOP DE BOOP to Debbie coming back, even for a few days. She was already in Hungary when I started listening - what is her and Kate's relationship like?

Gruach · 04/07/2015 09:36

That's such a beautiful image R4 - but they always cheat us of the reality. Just imagine Sunday lunch at Home Farm with Adam, Debbie, Kate, Alice, Ruairi + Phoebe and Lillian. With a phone call from Nolli and Sipho ... (I would even forgive them for keeping Ian and Chris off-screen filling the dishwasher or whatever.)

Gruach · 04/07/2015 09:44

what is her and Kate's relationship like?

Goodness ... When was the last time they could possibly have been in a room together? Perhaps when Kate was doing her first Felpersham diploma thingie? Debbie used to pop over now and then - with a marriage prospect who inevitably made a swift exit after sight of the potential in laws. Grin

I simply cannot remember a single conversation between them - ever.

ppeatfruit · 04/07/2015 10:51

Psuedo I would say that the debacle between narc. Kate and Alexfeebs was more about jealousy on Kate's side, rather than mumsyness. A good mum wouldn't have done that.

Feebs is 17 fgs and she wasn't screaming 'rape' was she?

ppeatfruit · 04/07/2015 10:52

IMO she was enjoying it Grin.
