Agree BoreOf and lilianGish , I've just listened again, I thought from you lot we were going to hear them actually DTD !! But it was quite tastefully done we don't actually know if they HAVE done it do we?? Of course the will have and didn't Lizzie say that Roy had thought of everything when he gave her the ear plugs [grin Grin probably thought of condoms too Grin and they'll behave like it never happened !!

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/06/2014 10:28

Lizzie wanted Rotaboy.

And we all know that Lizzie always gets what she wants.

Otherwise she lies on the floor, drums her heels and screams and screams until she's sick MIGHT DIE (she has an intetmittent heart problem, you know. But it's hardly ever mentioned)

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 21/06/2014 10:32

Of course there's always the nuclear option.....

Lizzie and Roy blazon it out, he leaves Hayley and moves into LL. Hayley carries on living at Willow Farm. Phoebe gains another step mother.

Guess it's never going to happen. (Too similar to Helen and Rob?)

(But I agree with whoever said that Tom's bombshell would have unsettled Roy.)

ppeatfruit · 21/06/2014 10:41

I can see what Roy would gain if he was so heartless as to leave Hayley and the kiddies for a fancy `Stately Home'. But he's not exactly Lord material is he? Lizzie'd pissed off with him in a week !

ppeatfruit · 21/06/2014 10:42

sorry Lizzie'd BE !

unitarian · 21/06/2014 10:47

Missed it last night, heard it this morning. Wish I hadn't.

With a bit of luck this is one of those storylines that isn't going to go anywhere.

LillianGish · 21/06/2014 10:53

I mentioned Roy being influenced by Tom's bombshell zero and it also just occurs to me that Brenda's complete rethink might have got him thinking as well. I think Roy probably has a massive crush on Lizzie whereas she's acting on the spur of the moment. looking forward to Sunday!

R4 · 21/06/2014 11:13

I'm hoping for the above mentioned: that the second after the cameras stopped rolling (IYSWIM) they came to their senses and/or fell asleep so no actual damage was done.

I'm really hoping that we don't go for another scenario: that LL says that she wasn't in a fit state to give consent and therefore ...Shock

ppeatfruit · 21/06/2014 11:26

Yes R4 it was the spiced cider that was to blame! I'm very ignorant about festivals, what were they doing dancing in a tent that looked like a speakeasy to music that sounded like acidhouse? (i'm probably wrong about the name Grin)

toldmywrath · 21/06/2014 11:47

Davros I record on the Tivo on series link, just in case I miss the Sunday omnibus. Just catching up now -have been absent & only up to Sunday 15th. I will wait til tomorrow to listen to the film.
I love Tivo, altho' not for BBC stuff 'on demand' as it buffers something shocking (as opposed to the recorded BBC stuff, which is great)

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/06/2014 11:58

Oh I am so looking forward to the omnibus!!

Sunnymeg · 21/06/2014 12:14

My guess is that one of them will want the affair to continue, whilst the other one won't. The spurned one may turn into a bit of a bunny boiler!! Either way Hayley will find out.

WipsGlitter · 21/06/2014 12:26

I think they will both feel guilty and agree never to mention it.

On another note, how smug did Ruth and David sound.

GypsyFloss · 21/06/2014 13:12

Yeah and Lizzie could do a " I just couldn't help my feelings and what we have is just bigger than both of us" other woman thread Grin

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 21/06/2014 13:39

The scriptwriters have no subtlety. Every single storyline is signposted with great big flashing signs. They couldn't even kill te car off without signalling for weeks beforehand

And what's with the ruddy comedy kitchen? If they won't to do comedy I think they need to get someone with a sense of humour in

Icimoi · 21/06/2014 14:36

Urrghh, just listened. All that heavy breathing and slurping. Euwwwww.

They both sounded quite smashed just beforehand. With any luck Roy won't be able to, er, rise to the occasion.

TheOneWithTheNicestSmile · 21/06/2014 15:50

well I missed it yesterday, thank god. have read various threads on FB & just scanned this one. I may never listen again Hmm

stupid storyline. even more stupid than Nigel falling off the roof & that's saying something.

StandsOnGoldenSands · 21/06/2014 17:17

Clearly the new editor has read Lady Chatterly once too often.

FunLovinBunster · 21/06/2014 17:43

Well I wanted to punch them all having listened to yesterday's episode.

Thehoardernextdoor · 21/06/2014 18:48

Probably a bit late but what happened to Iftikar?

lljkk · 21/06/2014 20:00

Lizard wasn't ready for his advances, and Freddy's math seems to have improved so much he doesn't need a tutor any more.

TheOneWithTheNicestSmile · 21/06/2014 20:17

Am I right in thinking the Ifty incident was under previous management?

I bet she'd have snapped him up with the EE regime

Hmm

(I am cross. Can you tell?)

BasketzatDawn · 21/06/2014 20:43

Sorry, KatieKate, MrB is definitely not F. Smile
