Ooh, nice title.

HumphreyCobbler · 18/02/2014 20:17

BonaDea · 18/02/2014 20:19

Helen's starting to really annoy me with her simpering.

Burma · 18/02/2014 20:20

Man I hate Rob grrrrrr..... but Helen, well they deserve each other really!

HumphreyCobbler · 18/02/2014 20:21

I would be annoyed as hell by the childish bleurghhing

Bluestocking · 18/02/2014 20:22

Hello, you two!
I loved Clarrie's big tease of Brian and Jennydarling.

TheRaniOfYawn · 18/02/2014 20:23

I've started listening again after giving up when it went horribly wrong with Ambridge Extra. Does that still exist?

NorthernLurker · 18/02/2014 20:24

Would it help if we summarised all of that git's awful behaviour?

  1. Cheating on his wife
  2. Cheating on his g/friend with his wife
  3. Moving in his girlfriend as soon as his wife has left (status of relationship unknown)
  4. Being creepy re wearing of watch
  5. Saying was in Essex and had to stay over night when wife says was elsewhere. Not telling girlfriend had seen wife.
  6. Isolating girlfriend from family ?provoking that row with Tony that precipitated Helen moving out of ?Bridge Farm?
  7. Refusing to eat food cooked for him when menu was described
  8. ?Using suicide as an excuse when he KNOWS it's a triggering issue for girlfriend
  9. Encouraging dependence of girlfriend's fatherless child on him
  10. Selection of girlfriend in the first place - he's married and starts shagging the formerly anorexic, single mum who lives with her parents and has a dead brother AND (by suicide) dead lover. She practically has 'vulnerable' tattooed on her forehead....

What else has he done?

PseudoBadger · 18/02/2014 20:25

Selks · 18/02/2014 20:30

Love the thread title!

Panzee · 18/02/2014 20:31

I can't believe an Archers thread moves so fast!

NorthernLurker · 18/02/2014 20:32
  1. who was he with on Valentines day?
NorthernLurker · 18/02/2014 20:33

ComposHat · 18/02/2014 20:44

I think Ambridge Extra (or Hollioaks Archers) may be a summer thing.

I hope they let it die a death cos it was shite.

Clocking in

I am so glad to see these threads moving so quickly.
I remember the old days a couple of years ago when you had to wait days for someone to pick up a thread.

Now there are live programme listening moments on the threads, plenty of them!

Am happy Smile

ComposHat · 18/02/2014 21:02

I always forget Jennydarling's own class position isn't what she makes out.

Daughter of a cockney sparra and a pisshead pub landlord.

northender · 18/02/2014 21:06

Marking my spot.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 18/02/2014 21:06

How does a bloke get to be like Rob??? (I realise this is a silly question, in many ways, and that men like Rob do exist which is terrifying.)

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 18/02/2014 21:18

I've been wondering if Rob plans his every move or whether he's in thrall to some irresistible urge to ruin other people's lives.

( Thanks btw)

GypsyFloss · 18/02/2014 21:44

What's the betting that Rob gets offered and eats tuna another time and when Helen questions it he will deny all knowledge of his huge tuna aversion.

Love these threads too. It has made listening much more enjoyable and I also find that I make an effort to listen as much as I can so I can keep up with the thread.

JollyGolightly · 18/02/2014 21:49

Zero I am beginning to think that Rob dumped Hellin on purpose so he could win her back again just to destroy her, all very Liasons Dangereuses.

I'm worried about Henry.

Agree that it was good to hear Tony enthused about bailing out the damp sheep. I enjoyed the topical insert of flooded pub and farming catastrophe, it felt right that they devoted half the episode to it rather than the cursory 30 seconds afforded to other national events.

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 18/02/2014 22:07

I couldn't listen to it and I can't tomorrow; what is all this about pasta? please?!

Gigondas · 18/02/2014 22:07

Marking spot but I agree jolly , he clearly doesn't give a toss about cheating on Jess.
