ah that would be perfect for your ds :)

right, baby years have a good deal this saturday, but a buggy and get a £50 voucher.

very tempted, off to look for reviews of the p+t smart

pramsgalore · 15/11/2011 17:02

misdee the handles on the smart are low from what i heard, and to be honest i would stay clear of p&ts they have had lots of issues on all their new models

pramsgalore · 15/11/2011 17:05

suzie hows your nuna pepp, is it good, better than a nuna, are they still as low, i did love mine, just the problem of getting it of the door

Tiggywunkle · 15/11/2011 17:24

Not really! I just had a chat with a certain addict as I thought it would sit nicely with my other 3 wheelers and given Bumbleride are very much on the way to the UK (and I would love a double one but can't justify it), I thought it was about time whilst I had opportunity to find out more. Strangely after the deal was done Pushchair Trader did a review this week of the Indie too.

Prams is now the time not to tell you that the Babyzen is rather good? I have just been putting it through it's paces on a blustery sea front dropping it off kerbs, down steps, up kerbs, straight through pot holes, and I think it's handled better than both the Elite and Easywalker! However one of the pesky recline zips got stuck earlier but it's working now. I also keep knocking the light on as I walk which is gaining me some odd looks! I need to switch the master switch off but I only know where it is when it's folded and currently DS is sat in it refusing stubbornly to sleep! It's a lovely upright seat. I don't like the ergonomically designed handle - like the Verve - but thats just me. After DH saying it was tippy, I was hanging onto the Babyzen. But there was no need :) it slid on top of the other pushchairs in the car boot nicely too :) I may have to rethink what I keep / sell coz hubby said this was the one to go! I think not!!!!!

suzie38 · 15/11/2011 17:26

Not used it yet...But it's identical apart from the extra recline, basket shape, hood press down bits are on the outside, sun flap is bigger, and the seat is more defined...Think the seat is suppose to be a tad higher, but the seat has been taken off my old one and washed and i've still not put it on.

misdee · 15/11/2011 17:31

tiggy cant u hire a garage to keep them in. afterall you are doing sterling work on your websiteWink

pramsgalore · 15/11/2011 17:32

Hmm could you not have come back and lied and said it was rubbish, Grinalthough the vista would be handy for shopping, as in new year i am going to try aldi,[ with some bits from sainsburys and waitrose] so i can save on my shopping, so will have to carry it all home Hmm

pramsgalore · 15/11/2011 17:33

suzie, i was hoping you were going to say it was higher, but they are a lovely pushchair, lovely to push

suzie38 · 15/11/2011 18:28

Not going to London now as it'll cost around £150 in train fares, as it's short notice plus i always buy DD a seat, as she's not a sitting on a knee kind of toddler!!! Wierd things is, someone messaged me about the Orbit on another forum...Turns out that she's got an invite as well...If i knew i'd get a free G2 then i would, but because of DD's age i think we'd be discounted as a carrycot is thrown in as well.

aswellasyou · 15/11/2011 18:30

suzie, you could just claim to be pregnant! Wink Then you'd be in the running for the free G2 to sell on. Grin

misdee · 15/11/2011 18:33

Honeydragon · 15/11/2011 18:40

suzie38 · 15/11/2011 18:43

LOL!!! Yes it would be mine to keep and do whatever with me...misdee i've been invited to an Orbit Baby G2 forum in London tomorrow...I inquired at Orbit a while back, so a representitive contacted me in the early hours today, so just over 24 hours notice to check a G2 out...Only thing is i imported one but found it didn't suit me so i sold it on...I did tell the guy that, well said it was too unusual and my mum would notice it...She gets cross with all the buggies i buy!!!

misdee · 15/11/2011 18:44

and this was why i was in pram remission for soooo long. Grin

i almost bought an orbit for dd4. and an uppababy vista for dd3. both long before they hit the uk.

is strollerqueen still going?

Tiggywunkle · 15/11/2011 18:44

We have a garage but I wouldn't dare put anything in over the winter even though it's dry. I have one pushchair going out on review and another big double going home plus some other parts. The ABC is our biggest issue. It's a pain to fold and is huge folded. But I love it for walking. It used to live happily in the hall but the TwinGo is currently in it's place. I'm going to use the Babyzen more over the next few weeks. We don't often need just a single and we usually use the Peach or Noa when out and about. But the Noa can go back in DDs bedroom for now.
The Orbit day could have been fun!

suzie38 · 15/11/2011 18:44

So unless i get an email saying they'll pay my train cost back, it's a no no for me and DD.

suzie38 · 15/11/2011 18:45

Yes she is but said she was taking a break to try and catch up on emails she'd received recently.

misdee · 15/11/2011 18:46

i'd go in your place but i am full of cold. hence me looking at prams all day as no energy to do anything

suzie38 · 15/11/2011 18:48

It would have been great especially if you were guarenteed a free G2, it would be worth the train fare but with no guarentee it's not especially with all the money i've lost recently buying pushchairs i don't get on with...I lost nearly £400 with the G2.

misdee · 15/11/2011 18:54

MMMM FREE ORBIT.
does anyone know if the new shipments of the duets still have holes in one hood?

aswellasyou · 15/11/2011 18:56

They're not supposed to have the hole. And people are supposed to be getting replacements for the ones bought before they fixed them.
