suzie, i like those, love the black frame with the pink. my orbit has been sat around unused as well [but its not going Smile], i am saving up for a electric trikidoo or something similar, has to have electric assit though as it can be very windy along the seafront and i am not fit enough to cycle into the wind for miles.

suzie38 · 27/11/2011 17:33

I used to be a fair weather cyclist...I had one nanny job where i had to cycle up a steep hill...I was so glad once i passed my driving test and got a car!!! They sell them with black, brown and red seats as well...I know having pink/purple (because US site calls them violet) will make reselling a bit harder but it's such a pretty color and my new Buggy Snuggle would look great, as the one that comes with it, looks a bit rubbish, in terms of warmth...Be ok in Spring time etc etc

This site shows the convertible footmuff.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 17:41

thats where i go wrong, i never think about reselling i just buy what i like, hence the white xari, i bet it takes ages to sell though, white scares people Grin
the seat looks very comfy, i really do like the pink on black frame, lots of people would want a pink pushchair and its a nice pink as well.

suzie38 · 27/11/2011 17:47

Well guess i'm the same as i buy obscure pushchairs no ones heard of, so it takes ages to sell them...The Bugaboo's shifted quite quickly, though someone's suppose to be picking up the Cameleon next weekend so until it's gone i'm not counting my chickens yet.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 18:02

i do like owning pushchair i don't see everyday, i have had many comments and stares, i was really impressed when i was out with the orbit and heard a man say to his wife, theres an orbit look Shock my dp don't know the names of prams. well he knows the xari but thats because hes still getting over the cost Grin although he calls it the white one so maybe not.

suzie38 · 27/11/2011 21:33

Anyone heard this before??? You can't transfer money out of your Paypal account unless someone leaves feedback??? Seems a bit strange as the 2 aren't exactly linked and feedback is voluntary...I've just received my 4th email asking me to leave feedback...I like to do it en masse as i find leaving feedback a really tedious task.

thisisyesterday · 27/11/2011 21:36

no, that's rubbish.
i've transferred money out before leaving feedback

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 21:39

yes i have, i paid for something and the seller asked me why i was holding the payment, i was not and when i looked into why this could be happening it was something to do with the seller and would be released when i left feedback confirming i had received the item, can not remember all the details though, but yes once i left feedback the payment would be released, i have also been asked to leave feedback the other week, i am guessing for the same reason. both times the payment had cleared my end and left my account, so def nothing i was doing.

suzie38 · 27/11/2011 21:43

Strange...Why doesn't that happen to me then??? Lots of people don't leave feedback but i get the money in my account as soon as they pay...And i received an email tonight dated 22nd February 2008!!! Now that did get lost in cyberspace!!!

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 21:44

When some sellers receive payments, we may hold the money in a pending balance for up to 21 days to help make sure that there are funds in the seller's account to cover potential refunds or claims. The funds may be released early if PayPal determines that the transaction has been fulfilled and customers are satisfied.

While funds are pending, the money belongs to you but isn't available to spend or withdraw.

If payments on your account are held, we'll notify you. PayPal will re-evaluate your account every 35 days and decide whether or not to continue holding payments. If we decide to stop holding future payments, we'll contact you.
When does PayPal release the payment?

The funds from each transaction will typically be released 21 days after payment, unless there's a dispute, chargeback, claim, return or reversal on that transaction, or any other limitation on your account. The money may be released sooner if:
1.Your buyer leaves positive feedback (Applies only to eBay items) or
2.We can confirm that the item was delivered* and 3 days elapse. This gives the buyer enough time to review the order and file a dispute if necessary

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 21:47

maybe they have had a few refunds, that ebay have forced, i got a refund by ebay for an item that never arrived seller ignored my messages and ebay refunded me, i bet this will happen to them now

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 21:53

this explains why paypal hold the payment, it would really pee me off, as not everyone leaves feedback

This typically affects sellers whose businesses or selling activities pose a higher than average risk of future transaction problems, such as potential refunds, disputes, claims or chargebacks. In deciding whether or not to hold funds in a pending balance, we review many account factors including transaction activity, the rate of customer disputes, the type of business a seller runs, average delivery time frames, customer satisfaction, performance and history. We understand that some experienced sellers may be affected. While history with PayPal is important, it's only one of many factors we consider.

Though we can't include every reason your account may have been affected here, here are some common reasons:
?You have limited history or selling activity with eBay and PayPal
?You have low Detailed Seller Ratings, negative Feedback or other indication of below-standard performance on eBay
?You have a high rate of customer refunds, disputes, claims or chargebacks
?You're selling in a high risk category or industry such as, but not limited to, tickets, travel, gift certificates, computers, consumer electronics, or cell phones
?Your business or selling activity is inconsistent. For example, you have a spike in selling activity, your average selling price changes, or you started selling in a new category without an established history in that category
?The account information you have provided is incomplete or inaccurate, or we're uncertain with the information you've provided
?Your withdrawal activity has changed

suzie38 · 27/11/2011 21:58

Thanks for finding all that out.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/11/2011 22:05

i think i have been with dp for too long, if you ask him a simple question he gives too much info as well Blush still at least you now know in detail Grin

suzie38 · 28/11/2011 18:12

I'm fed up of seeing 666 so i'll say hello, plus it's been very quiet today.

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 28/11/2011 18:18

suzie38 · 28/11/2011 18:24

I've fell in love with Gymboree, but my last order had custom charges...Ordered a load of stuff last week, as i love being able to mix and match...I've only bought Mini Boden off eBay.

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 28/11/2011 18:35

oh my DSIS works for Gymboree in OZ,and brought SOO many lovely things over for the DC!
DD has a beautiful sliver/grey ,silk (?) dress that she is wearing to a good friends wedding on saturday, she cannot wait to wear it,bless herGrin
i ordered DD some silver leather ballet pumps and navy leggings with a sparkly band around the cuff from Boden to go with the dress.
also got a pink funky duffle for DD and a gorgeous teddy fleece lined cord coat for DS...

I dont normally buy direct from boden,but i got a 30% off code,it's FB30 if anyone's interested Smile

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 28/11/2011 18:37

^ code valid until tonight at 11:59!

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 28/11/2011 20:33

I love Gymboree stuff. Strangely that's something that I haven't been charged customs on in the past. But I either love their stuff one season and then nothing appeals for ages. Maybe I need to peek?? I am sure they had a sale on today too. I saw an e mail earlier.

I have someone trying out my off roaders alongside me and she loved the Qtro and wanted to keep it lol. She's now got the Bumbleride Indie. I need another mad buggy addict tester who lives locally! It sounds like I have a triple buggy on the way which means borrowing a child - I am not sure Jason the bear (my old child substitute) will quite cut it any more, nor will Baby Annabel lol Wink lolololol

My Kooltrade visitor has postponed until Thursday. I am looking forward to seeing her again :)
I have something interesting hopefully on the way after a good chat today, but I don't want to say any more right now.

But the +one is due tomorrow and I have splurged on a Freerider too. I thought that when I go shopping DD can swap for the journey home so that I can get my shopping on board. I hope the +one will fit in my car. It's slightly too long but may fit in sloped at an angle or something. If so, then it's got a great trial on Wednesday as we may be off on an all day shopping trip. Fingers crossed that it fits!

I hope the Rumble seat works for you Frigg :)

suzie38 · 28/11/2011 21:07

My Gymboree order has been shipped today Smile The last couple of collections, i didn't care for as there were a lot of pastels, which i know DD would stain on the first wearing...I get 3 or 4 outfits from most collections...I plan to have an almost 100% Gymboree wardrobe so it makes choosing outfits easy peasy!!!

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 28/11/2011 22:05

Aarrghhh I hate you lot at times! I have almost £300 of clothes including shipping in my basket. But there's 20 items in there. That's only £15 an item....I can't decide whether to check out or I am being daft?!?!?

TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar · 28/11/2011 22:05

Gymboree BTW :)

TruthSweet · 28/11/2011 22:14

£15 per item for children's clothing

I got DD1's winter wardrobe for about £20 and that included 2 wool coats, another coat, umpteen dresses, leggings, 8 pairs of tights and loads of tops and cardigans.

DD2 has had one new dress (well new in the sense that while it was 2nd hand it's not a hand me down from DD1) and DD3 has had one totally new outfit this year as she kept pouring her drink down herself and I ran out of clean dry clothing (she was soaked from head to foot) so had to get her an outfit in Asda (I sized up as well to get the most wear out of it too!).

I am a 2nd hand rose (but it would be nice to buy new clothes in the shops that weren't in the sale in Primark or Asda). Must make more money and not buy prams!
