My brain hurts :( Trying to do Christmas shopping plus a good handful of birthdays is mind bendingly hard work! I keep remembering something else that I have forgotten and I have barely begun!

suzie38 · 24/11/2011 15:35

No idea...i just buy what i like the look of...A big maker/seller on eBay is Fluffy Muffy...A good custom make is Snunkie if only there wasn't such a long waiting list combined with a confusing ordering system since i bought my Bee Plus set.

pramsgalore · 24/11/2011 15:36

almost finished Grin

pramsgalore · 24/11/2011 15:37

same here, if i like it i get it, who ever is selling it, lots on ebay to choose from Smile

suzie38 · 24/11/2011 15:44

My 4 have now been listed Smile

suzie38 · 24/11/2011 17:30

Bugger the Nuna sale fell through because she bumped her car a few days ago so couldn't drive to pick it up plus can't really afford it with the repair bill so back to square one!!!

pramsgalore · 24/11/2011 19:23

oh suzie thats not good, but remember to claim back your fees, as the sale fell through

thisisyesterday · 24/11/2011 19:44

right. ,that is IT.

we officially have no money and I am being ruthless and selling everyhing I can.
I am keeping only my big pram (just in case i have another baby) and the i'coo.

have already got an ad on the for sale bit on here, but i guess it's a bit slow on there these days?
but am about to ebay the ABC buggy, bjcmicro, bebecar city tracker.

the aria is going to the pregnancy crisis group, and the silvercross wayfarer is going to truthsweet.

i will have more room and more money! hurrah!

however... I feel like I will need a tiny lightweight stroller, but not sure what to get. something like the volo, but there is no way i am paying that much money. any ideas? am happy with second hand.. .just need a little buggy for nipping in and out of places

pramsgalore · 24/11/2011 19:47

are you tall, if not the mothercare jive is very good [as buggys go] or the graco citisport second hand off ebay

pramsgalore · 24/11/2011 19:49

no scrap the citisport its very much like the aria you are getting rid of

thisisyesterday · 24/11/2011 19:56

i'm 5' 8

we had a jive to take on holiday a couple of years ago, and i could def do with a few cm extra on handle height

TruthSweet · 24/11/2011 20:52

TIY - I'd offer to swap you the Combi for the Wayfarer but it's slightly too short for me and I am just shy of 5'8" though admittedly I am very oddly proportioned with short arms/long legs (I am a T.Rex shape!) which does exacerbate the shortness of handle height Wink

Tiggywunkle · 24/11/2011 21:15

Get a Noa. They are around £100 on EBay, or is that too much?

suzie38 · 24/11/2011 21:32

The seller brought the claiming back fees up and have been refunded now...So it's back on eBay...And annoyingly my Icoo didn't arrive today so bet it arrives while my dad is here tomorrow...I'm out all day from 8-5.

suzie38 · 24/11/2011 21:33

And she left good feedback!!!

Tiggywunkle · 24/11/2011 21:44

That's good Suzie! I had a buyer who didn't bother to tell me she had changed her mind...I had to chase her up, nor can she be bothered to close the dispute case either!! Grrr! It annoys me that in a case like this, that I, as a seller can't leave her negative feedback except covertly as positive feedback...

Tiggywunkle · 24/11/2011 21:45

Ok guys, thinking caps on everyone!

Which one pushchair has been without doubt your best pushchair this year, and which one pushchair is the one that was either your worst buy or you couldn't wait to see the back of???

pramsgalore · 24/11/2011 21:50

worst buy is trust me its bad the VERVE
best is the hmm its really difficult because i love the xari for its looks but the vista is more of an all rounder, but because i am shallow i would have to say the mima xari with the vista a very close second Grin

suzie38 · 24/11/2011 21:53

The Donkey has been my best...Buyer left feedback to say it is great...My worst, well i've made a lot of expensive mistakes because in reality they didn't suit me ie Xari, Cameleon, Orbit, Maxi Cosi Mila...Probably more but i've lost count!!!

TruthSweet · 24/11/2011 21:54

Tiggy - best one has to be the EaSyS Jazz (aside from it not being a double but I can't hold that against it). Worst has to be the Bebe Confort Trophy Air 6 - the pram that lasted less than 45 minutes before being returned to seller.

Tiggywunkle · 24/11/2011 22:06

I am struggling to decide but my best pushchair has undoubtably been the new Peach Blossom - it's surpassed every expectation and I love it. The Noa comes a close second at the opposite end of the Spectrum for usefulness. Oh and I love the TwinGo - is that one of each then? Tandem, Twin and Single??!!
Worst - oh gawsh - I can't think of just one. The Valco Runabout which the wheel fell off within minutes; the Joovy Ergo which nearly caused accidents in the supermarket with it's lack of manoeuvrability; the Verve for many reasons; the Duet for laying me up with horrendous back ache for a week; and the Senzz which is the one I asked DD to get out and walk because it was so bad to push!

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 24/11/2011 22:41

Hmmmm,ive had a love/loath feeling about a few....
the verve,i loved it,but the creak is unbearable and DD stuck her feet out the basket and put her feet square on the ground Shock and DS put his hand under the wheel guards a few times Shock
the mima kobi,i loved the manuvorability and im SO glad i tried it,but it was a bit too beautiful for me,and i was terrified of ruining itBlush plus,it was a pain to sell.

then there was the p&t explorer, i just hated that,it was awful ...i cant think of a single redeeming feature.

the Luna mix (was 3 years ago,but im still going to mention it) was TERRIBLE,i hated it right away,i cant even start,EVERYTHING about that damn thing is awful, but i put up with it for months before i found the vigour (lovely)

and finally, the Vista: if everyone bought a vista from birth,i dont think there would be nearly as many buggy addicts. the only thing i can think of,is that the crotch strap is a little short (with my buggysnuggle AND sheepskin on)
but thats IT,and that is impressive WinkGrin

okay,so that was more than one each wasnt itBlush

TruthSweet · 24/11/2011 22:47

Do you think they designed the Senzz to be looked at not actually used as a pushchair? It's so lovely to look at, the fold looks amazing and it's apparently a good sized seat but just about every review slates the pushability of it.

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 24/11/2011 22:49

i dont like he look of it...but then, ive never liked quinny's.

Tiggywunkle · 24/11/2011 22:50

Oh the Senzz seat is fantastic - DD looks very comfy in it. The fold isn't bad either. But its simply awful to push. I can't even tell you why...but it feels hard, its uncomfy in your hand and I suspect the angle the handlebar is at doesn't help. Its the only pushchair I have turfed my poor daughter out because her walking was preferable and easier!!!
