Ok, after looking at amazon.com reviews I'm crossing the 7am blanket off my list. :(

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 19:00

Why's that??? Aren't they well rated??? I'm just going to stick with a basic waterproof Buggysnuggle i think and with a seller that uses Paypal to use up my excessive account...The Donkey has now left for pastures new Sad I'll never get another one...Well at least my hall is looking less cluttered and i'll try list all my Bugaboo customs tomorrow except the giraffe one, that DD chose to keep...I've got a cheapy white and black star one that floats around.

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 19:06

Lots of folk on amazon.com saying they aren't durable. Many with problems after laundering. I need to generate PayPal funds before shopping really too!
Ds has some very good snowsuits anyway to be fair.

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 19:17

i get sad when certain pushchairs leave, dp just smiles and asks whats next to go Hmm i don't want to part with my orbit, because i know i will never get the chance to get one again, the vista is just fab and won't be going anywhere as the basket is just so big and it is just a dream to push [although not much pushing going on at the mo, as my mun insists on pushing all the time Sad]

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 19:21

And looks promising on the Cameleon selling shortly...But that will be cash so i'll try and save some towards DD new wardrobes or possibly buy a DSLR camera instead as been meaning to buy one for at least 2 years.

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 19:44

my hood that i ordered over a week ago, still has not arrived and the seller has ignored my message asking her when she posted it Hmm but looking at her feed back no one has left her feed back yet for the items they bought around the same time as me.

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 20:15

What hood was that??? I won't need any spare hoods now.

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 20:21

i ordered a zigzag custom hood for my cam and its no where to be seen, i hope it arrives on monday

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 20:29

And now you're not keeping the cam!!! Mind you i bought a Hungry Catapillar set so delling that...It fits on the Go but isn't as long as my other footmuffs so it's not going to last long.

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 20:32

yes i know Blush, although if it looks really good i may keep the cam for a little longer, as i do like a funky pushchair and then sell after christmas, if not i will just resell on ebay, but it needs to turn up first Hmm

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 20:34

been out bid on the sindy house, they are going for silly money, may wait till the new year, when hopefully they have come down in price as demand won't be so high Sad

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 20:37

Some of my Sindy toys are still in my parents loft...Maybe my dad should get them down so i can sell them...Got the caravan and buggy car, wardrobe, bed and possibly a few other little bits.

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 20:38

got a fully furnished house by any chance Smile

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 20:40

Sorry, my parents were cheapskates!!!

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 20:42

i had one, but my evil mother sold it, i remember the lady coming round to pick it up Angry i loved that house Sad

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 21:02

We have had a busy day. The BJCM4 has had several hours round the shops today (smooth surfaces) and was fab. I get what you mean re it not being maybe as responsive as something else but it's splitting hairs between real addicts because it's a fantastic little pushchair. I much prefer 4 wheels to 3 for stability. The BJCM4 was rock steady and could take me slightly leaning on it (unlike the Elite) and there were no shopping trolley wheels :)
DD looks more comfy in the Elite, DS just slouches in the Elite (we will get him a PE board) but DS looks fab in the BJCM4 whereas DD is starting to look big in it.
But a good outing apart from a hideously high shopping bill Hmm

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 21:19

:( re the Xari
My 7AM blanket is fab but then we rarely launder our cosy toes because they don't get daily use, nor muddy shoes and the children don't eat or drink in pushchairs unless an emergency. What I can see of the quality looks very good though. The blanket is lovely and thick and if I can find single blankets then I would consider getting some.

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 21:21

We have decided that the Senzz, and Xtreet :( will go. I think the B-Agile will go too although DD looks great in the seat. But I will give it another run or two before finally deciding.

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 21:23

And I got no reaction from you lot to DH preordering an origami!!!! Lol! Would you get one??! I think it looks a bit odd and the weight limit is low - an average 2 year old!

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 21:23

Sad but i need to down size my collection of pushchairs, they cost too much to just be sat there, although the xari will be used until the day it leaves the house Grin my orbit has not been used for a while, but like i said ds fits it, so its a stayer

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 21:25

i like the origami, but to be honest i would only buy one because of the fold, and in reality i don't fold pushchairs that often

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 21:56

If I had funds I would try the Origami....not sure I'd keep one unless its well designed in terms of balance/manoeuvrability etc. it looks an awesome futuristic gadgety plaything though. I'd love a pram with music and headlights...and room for a Tom Tom for my summer excursions! Lol
Im trying to resist the urge to buy a huge expensive footmuff....ds has fab snowsuits so a footmuff is overdoing it here on the south coast! I think it also makes the buggies too bulky when folded and then I don't want to put them in the car.
Well done with today's sales prams! Commiserations at watching them go though. :(

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 22:00

Tiggy the footmuffs at Mothercare are "blanket 212" models. Does this mean they convert. I thought of you when I saw the deal for two...they're the metallic grey ones and look lush (resisting the urge to buy here still!...ds is going to school in September for goodness sakes! Lol).

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 22:23

My iPad won't let me open the 7 A.M. enfant website - I am sure that would help you. I know the Mothercare ones are large though.

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 23:00

Same here....I may just get them...can return to store if needed. Mothercare are handy like that. The deal is good.
