OP posts:
Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 10:32

Hmm I wonder if he's up for a 3 hour Donkey run.... Hmm But that could get expensive!

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 10:33

We could be in Nottingham in that time Wink!

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 10:45

Yes, compared to other buggies my bjcm is hard to steer. :(
I don't know if its the new style or because Ds weighs 14kg. I don't remember my previous one being hard to steer. I can't see anything wrong with it. I've used silicone spray to no avail. The front wheel takes more effort and pressure from the handlebar to get it to change direction than any of my other prams.
Maybe I'm just spoiled by other fab prams?

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 10:49

Mpx ultima sounds fab Misdee. There's bound to be some occasions when you'll need a single pram.
Tiggy do you think you'll get a donkey? I think the donkey wheels look fab. Very practical. It's certainly a versatile choice.

misdee · 19/11/2011 11:09

i mainly use it in the house as a safe place for babies, away from bigger children and the hound. they have lovely sized carrycots, and can get sleepsafe mattresses as well for them for overnight use.

misdee · 19/11/2011 11:10

mj, my dsis hated her bjcm, and now has a city classic(?)

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 11:15

I think if I got one Hubby wouldn't be surprised at all. But I simply can't justify the cost - it's madness just to have a good play!

misdee · 19/11/2011 11:16

i'd love to try a donkey but ust couldnt get one Blush

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 11:23

Decisions, decisions....
I have an hour and a half.
Do I photograph the small pushchairs to get them done so they can be Ebayed, or do we throw as many offroaders into our boot as possible and do a beach test? Although to be fair one isn't here...

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 11:25

We have had no rain for weeks! It's mad having to water plants in November but I am not complaining! The sunshine us fab!

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 12:20

Photograph the small buggies while the light is good. All terrains should be tested in extreme conditions if possible! Wink

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 12:38

I am absolutelyandutterlyconfused.com [confuse]
The BJCM4 handle to my eyes is only a smidgen - and I mean a smidgen - taller than the B-Agile!! I don't understand!?!?! I always thought the BJCM3 was slightly too tall for me, but I knew the B-Agile was short for me when I pushed it! Time for further experiments with a tape measure and totally flat surface!!

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 13:08

Ok - I get - and its just me and a metal tape measure ie no amazing measuring device (but I am open to Christmas presents [wunk]):
B-Agile - 98cms to the bottom of the foam handle to 101.5cms to the top of the foam handle
BJCM4 - 101.5cms to the bottom of the rubber handle to 104.5cms at the top of the rubber handle.
So there is a bit of difference but 3.5cms to 3cms is nothing - or is it?

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 14:51

Donkey has sold and been paid for via Paypal...Sadly it might be collected today...Can i contact Paypal to release the money into my bank account otherwise it's going to take ages to use up...Plus it'd be better in my bank account for paying for the fridge and freezer

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 14:54

2 pushchairs sold and out the door today Grin thinking about selling the xari Shock may put it on preloved and see what happens, def getting rid of cam, but will ebay all the accessories, don't know about the orbit, because ds fits in the seat, although he sat in the vista today and was fine, he is under the weight limit, but looked a tad big in seat, in the orbit he looks fine with room to grow Shock but i don't know the weight limit on a g1 orbit, but i bet its high, although it pushes really easy with ds in it [not much difference to having dd in it

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 14:56

thats great news suzie re the donkey, can you not transfer payments from paypal accounts to your bank account, i am sure you can

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 15:07

Yes, you can request a transfer to your bank account. It takes a few days or you can pay more to expedite it. It's free otherwise.
Yay re pushchair sales. That's good!
Prams - you can't sell the Xari Shock!! that was meant to be the one that stayed!!!!!! Sell the Vista!!! Lolololololololol
I took my photos so now have two for sale. Hubby and I can't decide between the B-Agile and BJCM4.....the BJCM4 is our favourite but DD sits beautifully in the seat......and the handle isn't that much lower. I wish we had bought the black though.

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 15:14

well, mima up for sale on preloved, i wonder if i will get any interest or offers Hmm

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 15:16

although i am not going to let it go for peanuts i would rather keep it

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 16:00

How much are you asking, if it's not too nosey...Got 12 watchers for mine but only had a couple of questions.

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 16:06

Just looked at the Paypal site...Seems like i just need to press a few buttons to transfer Smile

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 16:29

That Kids Kargo pushchair would make a great shopping pushchair...DD could put all her toys in the second seat!!!

pramsgalore · 19/11/2011 16:54

£640, hoping the fact its white, which would need importing may work in my favour, won't be putting it on ebay though, just preloved and later gumtree, i am not too bothered if it don't sell though to be honest.

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 17:45

I have been v good and photographed 3 prams for eBay....and then busied myself with computer updates...so you see it's just not possible to list anything right now...as the computer is busy. Wink
Where did you say those 7am foot muffs were for sale? I might want to look at those again, for my humongous summit xc.
I'm rather sad the Jane slalom has to go already....but when push came to shove the BJ won...as I stood them side by side I just liked the handlebar height and feel of the summit a bit better....I think ds will miss the lay flat sleeping position, and good visibility. I will miss the smaller footprint.

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 18:27

Found the 7am blankets on Mothercare....could get 2 for £100 and free del. only need one, but is only £20 more for the second one with discount code...
Was your twin blanket good Tiggy? I'm wondering if I could use one in my vista and one in my summit?
