FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 18/11/2011 23:06

Ooooh, this looks interesting... not sure about the quality, but v interesting...

suzie38 · 18/11/2011 23:07

Might have to change boards and test the water on car seats...Want a proper rear facer in car now.

Tiggywunkle · 18/11/2011 23:37

Wow that does look interesting Frigg - like you say I am very wary of the quality though.....and the customer support. But the seller is a known one if you had an issue....Its one I would really like a closer look at....

I had something to show you but its not as exciting as that!!
Hauck FreeRider

dobby2001 · 19/11/2011 00:16

I saw the kidzkargo one on ebay and like you Tiggy was intrigued, until I saw the weight 18.5 kilos!!! Thats an awful lot more than the b-dual or Hauck Duett isnt it??

Mind you if you needed a tester for it i would be happy to offer my services Wink

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 01:07

It does sound heavy - I thought that. Its also wide - 65.5cms.
We are debating whether to try one or not. The quality is a worry but it looks interesting if you have twins or a newborn. I would like a good play at where each seat can and cant go.

suzie38 · 19/11/2011 07:32

That's the sort of intersting pushchair i like...Lots to fiddle with.

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 08:35

I'm under pressure to photograph prams now. H seems to think I'm keeping only one!!! Anyone here care to write a paragraph on why only one pram would be meagre and make my carless life even more difficult....? He drives to work when he could walk the 2 miles. Then he drives half a mile to get his bought lunch!!!
I have no choice but to walk whatever the weather no matter if I'm dog tired or have a cold. Always with 3 or 4 (often squabbling) kids too.
I'm struggling with the idea of selling the BJ summit in particular. But its soooo big! Maybe I should replace with that Micralite superlite classic or toro after all...and keep one set of off road wheels...

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 09:15

Might have to sell the Jane slalom! Bottoms! I'm not sure selling the summit is at all sensible. It can't be outgrown, and is proper through the mud and over heather off road. Jane isn't quite so extreme. Summit can take my 7y old if necessary. Jane definately can't take the load.

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 09:21

Is anyone else missing messages in real time?? It's happened before but not really thought about it. But last night there were only messages from Prams, Suzie and Frigg showing! (all the late part of the evening because I kept checking until 3am), but this morning I have Misdee and aswellasyou etc filling in between. It's most weird!

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 09:30

I've noticed that a few times before Tiggy. Thought it was my device.
Have realised the summit takes 20kg more than the Jane slalom.
If I could change one thing about the summit it would be that the wheel would also lock facing back...it locks out to the front, but not back. Locked to the front is only good off road, too much play on it to be useful on smooth pavement.
Wonder if BJ would sell me an elite wheel for the front for urban use. That would work as the hole for steering lock is the opposite side for the elite front wheel. Everything else about the wheel is the same.

misdee · 19/11/2011 09:31

I THOUGHT I WAS BEING IGNORED [WINK]

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 09:35

Aww, you're not being ignored Misdee. X
It does make confusing reading at times though!

misdee · 19/11/2011 09:46

i bet it does. i cant access long threads on my mobile so dont get gaps Smile

had a whoopsie on ebay earlier Blush

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 09:58

What happened on ebay Misdee? Did your buying finger slip?
I'm sat here thinking I need to sell both the Janes now! Also the Senzz, candy volo, and bjcm....and I need a new Micralite classic or toro to use on the bus or for travelling...I do love the bjcm but its so much harder to steer than all my other buggies.

MonkeyJuice · 19/11/2011 10:00

Though the onboard storage of the bjcm is unbeatable. Maybe it'll stay. I will sell the footmuff though. He's too big for it now.

misdee · 19/11/2011 10:02

mpx ultima in mimi for new bubs. just in case i ever need a single pram Confused

had a polka one for ds.

Tiggywunkle · 19/11/2011 10:30

The BJCM is hard to steer??

I am glad it's not just me with gaps. It was most odd to read the full conversation this morning!

I wouldn't ignore you misdee [wunk]
I hope you like your new 'accidental' purchase :)

Hubby has just Shock offered that we go back to the pram shop again. He also made me try a pre order for an Origami last night - which it let me do with a UK address but yet they say they don't ship outside of the US. So I doubt it will become a reality, but it was DH who wanted one!! He's becoming a secret pram addict!!!
