This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

The SFS has a slight permanent recline. My elder two used to fight over sitting in it as it was (to them) like an armchair. It has two large 'bolster' type protrusions on either side of the head so they can rest on that and arm rests too (really selling it well aren't I Wink).

Right. I'm sorted now, I was getting confused over who had what Grin

Right Take Off is a no no. Tight I think you're right it looks bulky for what it is. I've looked at a zapp and that seems to big to carry around.

So it's a quicksmart or a surf.

Still not loving the Micralite...it might have to be a bjcm. Is the purple one ok for a boy? Or what is the crimson one like?

Will sell both the maclarens....I think. And the BJ summit xc. I will then have the Vista, the nipper, and the bjcm.

I can't bring myself to like the micralite they look all slouchy and are very long folded, but then people say how good they are too push

I ave just been out on my bike properly for the first time....I went down the next road and back just after my birthday but it's taken me nearly a month to dare to ride any more public and near cars!! Eeeeep! But I made it easily to the beach and back :o :o I want a trailer now....but do you have any recommendations? Then I can take the children to the beach every day - it's just a tad too far to walk. How exciting though :)

micralite is super to push, even with the 3 year old.bit tippy though...DP loves it,but the handles are a bit low for me (im 5'8)and long folded.seats really good, sit nicely,no slumping, easy clean (really good for jucie spills/rain/beach etc when out and about,i just whip off the juice soaked liner and still have a nice and dry buggySmile) really though,i love it for its push-ability.

I tried a bike trailer for the school run a while ago. It sadly didn't work out for us. I wanted to use only the cyclepaths, and not go on the roads at all. I then discovered at certain times of day cycle paths are full of dawdling kids, chatting mums, childminders, double buggies and large hairy dogs meandering all over the path. It was impossible to cycle!
Such a shame as in theory it would have worked!
I do love the pushability of the Micralite, but its not got the onboard storage space or convenience of the bjcm.
I could've bought the black on offer at mothercare, or the crimson on offer at Tesco, but I have ordered the plum from next as I love the colour, and it will come Monday morning. Hopefully!
I can use the tray, side bag and parent console from the summit on it. Oh and the silver nomad snugglebag I got off ebay should fit it nicely. I can hang stuff off the handlebar without any tipping too, plus I like the rubber handle.
The xlr and candy volo are destined for ebay, as is the summit xc.

What trailer did you have Monkeys?
DCs are a tall almost three year old and a 12 month old who isn't great at sitting. I am pondering something with a reclining seat or baby support. He sits fine in the Taga at present but it's more like a pushchair, but he wouldn't be in the trailer for long...5-10 mins. But on the other hand OH wants to cycle DD to nursery from January and we will get him an electric bike - it's a ten min car run - I think it's about five miles. He wants a trailer to put DD in for that. So she woud be in it for a while in winter.

Buggysnuggle or stayput blanket buggy muff???? I like the spotty stay put blanket ones but I got spotty buggy snuggles last year - the ink dot ones and they were rough and horrid and looked like a cross between an old grannies knitting and a white cat having laid on it. I am worried because the close up photos of the stayput ones look similar....

which buggysnuggle would you get? i LOVE my red star buggysnuggles, they're lovely and soft, the harness slits are awesome, and unzipping the bottom for muddy feet is very handy.

Well...my issue is colour really. The Peach is brown/black, the Duet is black. my Snunkies are black and red but too fluffy for both the Peach and Duet. I really want proper Peach Footmuffs but I don't see DD fitting them...
I was looking at the brown with black/grey stars (but it's soooo not me! I like primary colours) Buggysnuggle. Or One of the spotty or black / red stay put blankets?

I think it was the raleigh Avon bike trailet we had. Was aluminum and folded flat. The way it fastened to the bike wasn't a good fit. It kept coming off. There are far better bike trailers. On the good side it only cost £69, and I sold it for more, it was still a bargain to the new owner.
I think the chariot brand trailers are supposed to be good. Also, aren't babyjogger making bike trailers soon?
Get the outlast snuggle bags in black Tiggy!

I asked about the Baby Jogger ones and if I remember correctly there were no plans to bring them here. I will look closely at the Outlast ones again :) Now who has a good new title coz I don't have a clue!!!
