This is as imaginative as I get!Wink
Frigg, my Mum works for the City Council doing disability adaptations to resident's houses. She goes to assessments with an OT, decides on adaptations needed, designs them, draws up plans, applies for planning permission and oversees the work. She's been in the same job since she was 18 so she's learnt a lot about all sorts of dsabilities along the way.

Just a quickie to catch up...yes the ABC was a beast...seriously it was overhanging the car even with the front wheel off. The Jane filled the boot too. My boot is pretty large because it's designed to take the entire car roof inside of it!!! I have taken photos. I am a bit disappointed that the ABC won't fit in though.
Frigg - you need a Houdini strap or similar - we have two sorts but I don't know what brand the other is without going to the car. They are my emergency last resort things...never used as yet but bought after one horrendous tantrum!!!
Honey - have you seen the rucksacks with wheels ie covert into a buggy? Theres also some tiny backpack pushchairs...I reasearched all this for someone the other week. There were piles of both on EBay the other week. I have a new Babyhawk...that I never used with DD. I ought to try it out....
Yay re tracking Suzie.. No sign of the Rumble seat but other things are winging their way. I can't see what someone said on the page before re the Joovy. I sold the Ergo and the Superlite although fun will probably follow.

The Quicksmart backpack is the other one I was thinking of. Someone is selling them in the UK.

I was also shown one about three years ago which was a tiny bag - flat - which converted into a pushchair - but I have never seen it since.

Honey - I had a Takeoff - it was brilliant. Plus points, the easy fold, square shaped fold, comfy seat and good harness pads. What we didn't like was the flimsy back basket, the joints that didn't always click into place but most importantly the lack of sides which gave DD free rein to do aeroplane legs down shopping aisles and more which in the end got downright dangerous!! But I would certainly contemplate another one....but I think the Noa is better...

I quite like the Quicksmart but decided to stick with my Nuna.

The take off is a bit of a chunk TBH...it's not one to carry far...but it does have a pull out handle like the Noa - I keep twitching a bit when I see the telescopic handle advertised as a new invention for pushchairs...or whatever the precise wording is...because the Take off has one... Hmm

i thought about the urban detour but they are actually quite bulky.....arse I'm wanting the impossible.

even the evolution is too large

Frigg rather than buy a Houdini strap I leave dd's little life back pack on and then fasten the chest strap over her pushchair straps. It works and she doesn't find it uncomfortable to sit with

What about the Micralite superlite, which. if you leave the brake off can be pulled along behind you like a shopping trolley when not in use. Is also easier to bump up or down stairs due to large rear air tyres.
Alternatively the Micralite toro.

Did wonder but I like to carry them. I had a chicco umbrella thingy once where the handle folded over I borrowed it in france and cannot remember what it was Sad

Honeydragon - I'm selling on my Safety First Surf in grey/black that folds up into a backpack if you'd like it?

No problems with it - I just can't justify keeping it with DD2 not likely to be out a pushchair before DD3 is and DD2's already about 2kg over the max weight so would definitely not going to be able to use in a year or so's time!

The extra 15% off my basket contents at mothercare has vanished, although the en84 code is working to give an extra 10% so can get 25% total off some pushchairs. Quite tempted by the majesty xlr, but nowhere to store so cannot get really....getting another one for a change of colour is somewhat extravagant!

The Safety First Surf is a neat little thing. I must remember that one! I like net pushchairs!

Neat that should have been. I neeeeeeddd help plleeeasseee! I have spent all week looking at cosy toes till I don't want to see any more and am no further long! I already have Snunkies, buggysnuggles and a couple of random other cosy toes. But I need something that goes onto a pushchair and will stay on without the use of ties or flaps ideally without sliding down constantly. I don't want side flaps at the top either. I need something suitable for a tall three year old but doesn't trail (I know! But some are wider than others or some would with bend up with her knees IYKWIM.) I've looked at Kaisers, buggysnuggles, cososkos, outlast, outlook, everything on the Mothercare site, john lewis, very, and several other pushchair shop sites. and loads more than that to be honest.....and also I have looked at most pushchair brands too! Ideally it needs to be fairly plain...black...or possibly with brown (I dont like the colour particularly but the iCandy is browny black). And it has to be lovely and warm....Half my problem is that I cant gauge sizes online....and we don't have any decent independent shops within miles....arrghhh!! Oh yes...and I am drawn to Buggysnuggles for the easy to swap slits in the back...do any other brands have this? My Bugaboo cocoon had the same slits but not my cosytoes...

Mmmn Tiggy is suitable for napping in? It seems even smaller than the quicksmart. How much were you thinking? I need to look locally too, but it is tempting.

Took the xlr out to corner shop and pick up shopping. It was a heavy push, two handed. Would be much improved with ball bearing wheels!
Harness is short on the shoulder straps, particularly if the seat is laid back.
Thinking I must ebay it and look at Micralite once more.

The Takeoff, Honey or one of the others? There is a weird minimal recline on the Takeoff..it kind of pushes the seat forwards at an angle rather than reclines but my DD used to nap fine in it as her head was supported by the shoulder pads. It is definitely a chunk to carry round though...think a of small suitcase...
I havent got a budget in mind. In an ideal world I want two sets for the Peach and Duet but frankly that's OTT. But thinking ahead the +one doesn't really have room to stuff a cosy toes down with the shoes...well I don't believe it has so one which could be opened at the bottom would be useful. I need to keep trawling...something will pop out....
