How did you know you were pregnant?

I was going to name change but I can't be bothered.

I want to know what your first symptoms were when you got pregnant, the little things that made you suspect. Or even the things you couldn't explain but made sense later.

I'm asking because I have a couple of things going on that I'm a bit embarrassed about. If I am pregnant it will be a miracle but part of me will be disappointed if I'm not!

I had no idea I was pregnant and thought that the ravenous hunger, bloating and terrible wind were all PMT. I carried on merrily drinking and partying until my friend asked me how long since my last AF... Over 6 weeks now you come to mention it... Did a test and hey presto, worked out I was 6+3. Now 14+5 and everything seems fine but I still worry about the month I was pickling the little bean in gin

I don't know I just knew 10 days after I had done the deed. My period wasn't even due or late but I just knew somehow.

DH knew before me both times. He has some kind of sense.

1st time I needed lots of wees (5 a night) and had spotty skin.

2nd time- I've felt like crap since conception frankly.

I think I might be pregnant for first time, but unsure :
I've felt very bloated last 4 days or so and nauseated at the moment but that only started today.
we've been trying for a few months and today is down as the day I could potentially have implantation and i'm getting some small numb pains in my abdomen.
I think I may be so desperate to get pregnant that my body is just looking for things to make me think i am :(
only different thing this month is i keep going dizzy when I stand up and going up stairs. plus I'm a bit more tired but put it down to a busy schedule :/ I didn't think you got these symptoms until a few months into pregnancy. Any help?
so confused :(

I am Type One Diabetic and I have been trying for years to get pregnant but many times test have come up negative. I'm not quite as healthy as I wish to be, but lately I've had symptoms of Really sore boobs mainly my nipples and there as big as the dollar coins which for me isn't normal at all. And I've had diarrhea for a few days and now it's constipation. Not to mention I always feel a bit light headed. Could it be possible that i am pregnant? I just don't want to get my hopes up again.

How did you know you were pregnant?

Tingling in boobs.
Morning sickness from week 2.
Strange dull feelings in lower abdomen, bit like wind.

Boobs got bigger. Went off bacon and the smell made me feel sick. Slept throughout the day. Always tired. Moody and always wanted chocolate. Missed period.

Nothing really except a later than usual period and then the pregnancy test. I wouldn't get hung up on 2 week wait symptoms because they vary hugely. I have a very irregular cycle anyway, for example, so even a late period doesn't mean much for me!

Most of my early symptoms (sore swollen boobs, tiredness etc) were very similar to premenstrual symptoms. The real difference each time was that my hair immediately stopped getting greasy. From the moment I conceived my hair would change. Usually I have to wash it at least every other day if not every day. When pregnant I only washed it once a week or so.

I had IV.F so was symptom spotting, but the sudden onset of weeing every 10-15mins all morning long was not only weird, annoying, a bit embarrassing to explain my absence from colleagues and like nothing I'd ever experienced before. I knew that day, tested the next morning (a day before early tests suggest) and had a very faint positive. I was also drinking 2L a day after that. In hindsight on the day of implantation I had a banging banging headache all day, but didn't realise the two correlated until I looked back.

Have been feeling extremely light headed, dizzy & tired.
Walking thru the shops yesterday - every smell made me feel sick. Food just doesn't seem to sit right & waking up at strange hours of the night & unable to get comfy to get back to sleep.
If I was to be pregnant, my last period started around the 25/7. So is it possible. Any one else had these feelings ?

My skin which would normally have erupted with pre menstrual spot just cleared, in about a day and I just knew. We weren't trying but using condoms, had had one 'it'll be fine, wrong time of the month for me to get pregnant' night but I knew!

Waited two weeks to get a test though just in case I was wrong Hmm didn't wanna panic the husband over nothing.

6 weeks after previous period I took a test -didn't have any symptoms yet. I took the test then as I'd been caught out a few times taking the test earlier than that (despite often having symptoms).

DS1 - I took a test 3 days before AF was due as I wanted to take a pill to stop my period on holiday, even though we were TTC, I didn't expect to fall pregnant. Test was negative. Throughout my holiday, I kept getting cramps, boobs were sore, but they are before a period as it is, and oddly I kept seeing pregnancy tests at the portside markets in the Caribbean (I was on a cruise!). I was supposed to have AF when I stopped taking the pill but a week later it hadn't arrived. i had no idea I could be pregnant and thought my hormones were a bit off. GP tested my urine and I was 6 weeks pregnant!

DC2 - I knew about 5 days before AF was due. I got incredibly tired, boobs sore and kept getting waves of nausea. I tested 2 days before AF, got an initial negative but after an hour it seemed to be a faint positive or an evap line. Tested the next day and again negative. Tested when AF was due with a clearblue (others were tesco brand) and got a 1-2 weeks positive. Currently 8+3 and have my booking in appointment today.
