What was your first symptom of pregnancy???

What first alerted you to the fact you were pregnant. Was it the missing period, or did something else trigger the "hmmmmm, what if" feeling???

Didn't want my pudding, from about 7DPO (very unlike me ). Plus gagging when brushing teeth, feeling hot, and a heavy dragging feeling in my tummy. Couldn't sleep on my front as it just felt 'wrong'. Oh, and waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep.

I am thinking that maybe you are thinking you are pg? Have you got any symptoms?

with all 3 PGs my nipples really hurt when the shower water hit them,at least a week b4 AF due.

Spots in a line from forehead to chest and back of neck ! Was before I was due on but I was looking for symptoms.

Had A! mojito about 7 DPO (Thought we had missed the egg but turns out DP has super long lasting sperm) and it went straight to my head - went giggly and light headed and I am really not THAT much of a lightweight! Twas the full drink I had till xmas day (22 weeks!) where I had a glass of champers which also went straight to my head and I promptly fell asleep after.

Oh I am gonna be such a cheap date when I am allowed to drink again.

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my second and I keep wondering if i'm having enough symptons, I just remember how sick I was with my first though I can't remember when the bad sickness started. I have mild nausea now and again, extra wind, very dry mouth (had that with my first too) and heartburn (didn't have that till the 7 month with my first). I know I shouldn't be comparing to the first pregnancy but i can't help it and I keep thinking that if I don't have many symptoms maybe there is something wrong????

Migraine, I think, although I didn't realise for weeks - even after the migraine. I even got false negative tests

niamh, it all sounds perfectly normal from what I've heard from other people - different pregnancies carry different symptoms. It's also early days - the sickness could still hit you with a vengeance & then you'll wish it hadn't

1st pregnancy - wine tasted like poison, nearly vomited at the sight of blood watching Saw. Symptoms started about 4 days after period was late.
This pregnancy - the pink line on the test that the doctor did! I had constant nausea but I thought it was a tummy bug. Didn't find out I was pg till 7 weeks so symptoms defo weren't as bad and were later to begin with pg2.
Next week you'll probably be dying of sickness and tiredness and you'll be wondering why u were worrying about your lack of symptoms! lol xx

I feel differently in pg depending on whether I am having a boy or a girl. I seem to know which it is from that.

My very first symptom was the night before I tested, I woke up in the middle of the night howling like a feckin dog on all fours feeling like I was in labour, it was agony.
Weird!!!! Have no idea why?

exhaustion and my taste changed, though didnt really have any symptoms throughout except tiny bladder.

Kept needing to go to the loo only a matter of days after doing the deed, had to wait 10 long days for a missed period! Had spotting 4 days before period for 3 days.

falling asleep watching tv and a bad headache and vomit about a week after conception, also went off chocolate which made dh supicious.

ds1 - went off beer. Also felt incredibly tired and couldn't stop eating
ds2 - felt sick, started being sick. Was tired but had put that down to ds1 who was 8 months and waking at 4-4.30 most mornings.
dc3 - hormonal, did test 'just in case'.

I had a pain about 7dpo, on one side - lasted about 20 minutes then went. (like ovulation) and the next day, some brownish discharge (which I presume was implantation)

Then a few days before AF was due I had some cramps, as though it was starting early. They carried on until the day I was due when I went and got a test just for the negative really, so I could stop worrying as I was convinced my period was coming. Of course it was positive

Oh and for a couple of days I kept needing a wee, which is most unlike me, I never really drink much and never 'need' to go.

Was using the ovulation sticks, so ovulated on the monday did the deed, and had very tingly nipples by the friday, so i basically knew something was up. by the next friday i was constantly throwing up, i didnt even bother doing a pregnancy test, i was either pregnant or dying!! very early hospital scan to see if there were multiples in there due to severe sickness confirmed the pregnancy. Urgh, feeling sick just thinking about sickness!!
