What was your first symptom of pregnancy???

What first alerted you to the fact you were pregnant. Was it the missing period, or did something else trigger the "hmmmmm, what if" feeling???

I started getting up in the night needing the loo, i'm very hot and can't sleep at night, cramping and implantation spotting!

Then I've had real cravings for sweet things and can't stop eating if I do I feel nauseous and i'm feeling knackered!

I'm just over 6 weeks now and i know i'm mad but wish ms starts soon as atleast then I know my hormone levels are going up (3 previous mc's and 1 mmc)

Every single time (I have had 3 MC's, 1 DD, currently pg)...

  • went off sweet food
  • couldn't sleep on my front

I suddenly had four boobs instead of two, in all my bras.

A dull ache at the bottom of the right hand side of my ribcage at the back. Very weird but the same both times, even before I did the test.

I became really sensitive to any kind of "clean" smells (which I usually love) just a week after conception. Hanging out the washing, opening the dishwasher, even walking in the beauty department of John Lewis and opening the newspaper all made me gag - but it was 2 weeks or so before I got a BFP. Weird.

For DC1, tingling nipples before my period was even due. And throwing up, again before my period was even due.

DC2 - just throwing up!

For DC3, waking up after a friends wedding party, having drunk 2 glasses of champagne, and thinking, 'I shouldnt be actually throwing up after just 2 glasses!'

mad dreams, exhaustion, BIG boobs (whichhave now gone, so cruel) and a weird taste and my wee smelt like sugar puffs, which reminds me everything stunk in the hospital I worked at, bad times for me, now I have very few symptoms at 10 weeks

Missed period, and slightly sore boobs. Other than that, no symptoms - which should have been my first clue, actually, since I usually manage to convince myself that my PMS is early pregnancy, until Auntie Flo turns up and scuppers it. Not this month, though... gave it a few days, then tested... since this morning I've been trying not to hyperventilate and chanting in my head: "The pee-stick said yes. The pee-stick said yes. The pee-stick said yes..."

...in case you hadn't guessed, this is my first time. ;)

Mine was not being able to bear my nipples under the shower water, and feeling nauseous (?) everytime I picked up the office phone (very difficult when it is the business switchboard!)

Two days before period due sudden intense tingling in the nipples.

Same with all of my pregnancies.

I had an out of character rage at my DP over nothing and just didn't feel like myself at all. Super hormonal I suppose!

Looking back, a few days after implantation, I was really moody (very unusual for me). Then I got metallic taste and insane tiredness about a week before my period was due :D

I had immense tiredness (not quite worn off yet and I am 17/18 weeks). I also had one day where everything had a floral taste to it... not the usual metallic one!! I also had the sore boobies!

Did the test after missed AF, but had spotting for 2 days and some cramps (I presume implanting) and got a very faint line for a positive! We knew it was correct though as I'm usually regular as clockwork! I'd only been off the pill for 10 seconds, and I'm sure I only looked at him once Wink

I am experiencing them right now (cramps, very bloated) and waiting for DH to come home with test. Horribly excited - am sure it will be negative...need to prepare myself for disappointment.

Also crazy (more than normal) rages, really exhausted and nipples darker and a bit bumpy. But symptom spotting obsessively as this would be DC2. Fingers crossed...

I am one week late for AF. Sore boobs, random bouts of nausea. Tummy just feels off. Strange, vivid dreams lately too. Had period like cramps a few days last week, but no bleeding yet. Also constipated, and increased moisture down there Going to test tomorrow morning :o
