What was your first symptom of pregnancy???

What first alerted you to the fact you were pregnant. Was it the missing period, or did something else trigger the "hmmmmm, what if" feeling???

Complete and utter exhaustion. I felt like I had been hit by a bus.

Period-like cramps, ironically.
I was down in the dumps because I thought my period was on the way. But it never surfaced and I did a pg test instead!

Funny metallic taste in the mouth, from about a week after conception.

Thanks - I did test yesterday in the end and it was negative but still no sign of period so I'll wait til leter in the week I guess and see then. Thanks for the response.

Vile taste in my mouth, constipation, sore boobs and late period. Sense of smell so powerful that I had to go home early from college due to a classmate's BO making me want to spew.

Since we'd been ttc for 2 years, thought I was imagining it all and ignored it. Did a test when a week late, didn't leave it long enough to read the result and chucked it in the bin. A week later, fished it out and it was positive. Thought it was an evaporation line, ignored it, then mentioned it to DH a few days later. Retested. Ah.

? I didn't enjoy a glass of red wine

? My boobs were HUGE and hurt like hell

With DS1 it was my boobs. They were really really sore and tender and aching far more than I'd ever experience before, and I pretty much knew then, even though I was only a few weeks gone.

With DS2 (I'm currently 26wks) I didnt know until I was tidying up the bathroom cabinet one day and realised I'd need to buy more sanitary gubbins - this was quickly followed by the realisation that I hadnt had a period for quite some time - and then panic set in...so no indications this time!

I think my first symptom was feeling a heavy feeling like I was getting my period closely followed by sicky feeling. Then breast tenderness. I think that spike of sickness was the only really different feeling to run up to period.

I just felt different intially..everything smelled strange, then cigarettes became the work of the devil!..then sore nips...

Then the throwing up began and didn't stop!

My boobs falling out of my bra, and unbelievable exhaustion in every bone of my body.

i'm also in the extreme tiredness camp, i don't think i've been to bed som early since i was about 10. with each day i'm also getting more and more nauseous although i did read that having plain biscuits by the bed to eat before getting up in the morning helps - and it has been taking the edge off for the first couple of hours.
also been having cramps though and backache - has anyone else felt that?

Anyone got cronic lack of concentration?

My period still hasn't arrived but can't seem to concentrate on anything for long.

Still going to give it another couple of days before I try another test though as it was negative on monday guessing it will still be negative and am waiting for the tell tale signs of period instead but who knows!

i came of pill in july and now feeling sick,sore breast and nipples. dizzy, had pain in right side for one day, now some cramps but no bleeding and bloated. any info would be great thanks

Blocked nose, funny nipples and sore breasts this time around.

My nipples were very very sensitive and I could smell everything around me. The fridge smelt like rotten meat

Dizzy and bumping into things/clumsiness

Drooling
and tender boobs

Increased levels of farting

Painful boobs and constipation

I had dizzy spells which i realised after i found out were the first sign

Out of this world stinky farts and constipation
