joyful sorry about your scan palaver but at least babe well - did you want to know sex? Annoying if you did! But WELL DONE for joining the list - it is a hard thing to do for some of us!! I joined at about 23 weeks I think...

Good to see so many new people, this last month was clearly a very fertile one!! Hope you all stay tuned and get some reassurances from all of us and from each other.

dbno 9 days!! I ahve just seen midwife re hb - she came here and was very nice and went thru lots of paperwork and exlained how things work...I am 37 weeks this mon, so term, so as long as I don't go into labour over the weekend the hb plan can proceed! She went thru all the things that might lead to a transfer to hosp and she went thru my birth plan and all is okay. She had a feel and a listen and all was ok in there - the head feels well down if not totally engaged. Was reassured as she has been a bit quiet today! Mind you she always dances a bit when I am on mn - and here she goes now!!

Right off for my daily walk now.

cece are you tiny then if people haven't noticed??

Hi everyone. Haven't been on for what feels like ages - have had really stressfull time at work and have been shattered at night. Need to sort out a wireless re router so I can MN in bed.

Lovely to see so many new knicker checkers - congrats to all and welcome to the best thread on MN.

I'm 26 wks now - people at work have started noticing as my bump has literally sprouted in the last couple of weeks. So now they say you're very neat and I start panicking that maybe I should ask for a growth scan when I'm finally beginning to feel more hopeful. This pg after mc carry on is sooo stressfull.

Have just been for lunch with 2 friends who both have babies the same age as mine would have been if I hadn't had mc no1 and 2. I feel in a bit of an emotional state about it really, I'm really grateful to be sat there pg but can't help looking at the 11mth twins and 4mth baby and feeling sad. Is that awful of me? I honestly don't feel like I can move on from these feelings till I hold this baby in my arms and that still feels too good to be true.

Sorry for the me, me, me post will catch up properly later.

Wow - more new people - that's great - hello!! Hope everyone who is experiencing worrying symptoms is doing ok.

DBNO - 9 days - wowee ! Hope the back ache is a sign (if you're ready that is).

Dan - keep your legs crossed over the weekend !!

Joyful - sorry about the scan mess up. What a crap situation.

Cece - so pleased you're feeling able to tell people.

Scotslass - I think seeing babies a similar age to what you would have had is tough especially as it probably feels a long way to go until your baby is due (I know I felt like that at your point - still do sometimes, other times it feels like no time at all !).

I had my 32 week scan today and all is still going well. Baby is growing as it should and is not too far off the weight dd was when she was born at 37 weeks which is fantastic (for those who don't know/remember - she had IUGR/ I had pre-eclampsia so I am being regularly monitored. BP all fine too. Everyone was really positive - it made me feel excited for the first time I think (have otherwise just been worried/ disbelieving !). Now I see someone every two weeks until 38 weeks and then weekly. They were going to leave me until 36 week scan but I persuaded them it made sense for me to have my BP checked in two weeks.

Blimey lots of new names on here. It must have been a shagtastic Christmas and new Year for some!!! Hello to all. Its such a good forum for those with a mc history. No one really understands like those who have been through the same.

dbno I can't believe you are only days
away from a new arrival. Thats fantastic.

soctlass I know what you mean about babies. I would have been due in September and in 5 days time and still have a pang. Finger crossed though and we'll have lovely new ones ourselves soon (well in 15 weeks for me!. With DS who was conceived 3 months after a mc, I just kept thinking well he wouldn't be him if I hadn't had the mc so something positive came out of it in the end.

I think we need a new thread soon - does each one go up to 1000 messages? Any techy volunteers?

Just done a plaster cast of my bump - was a pressie from dh for xmas - it worked beautifully and is a brilliant reminder of how huge I am!!! I am 37 weeks so we didn't want to risk waiting (even tho I am bound to be ages late...) But I thoroughly recommmend it as a weekend activily for those with no dc's to disctract them!

BumpVLump · 17/01/2009 17:40

Hello ladies,
Can I join your thread?
Due 28th July and first baby.
So ridiculously paranoid after MMC June last year, got my scan on monday (will be 13:1)and am nervous. I did have a scan at 8 weeks as had some bleeding (everything fine then) but still cant help worrying. The man getting very annoyed for me being negative all the time but finding it so hard to enjoy pregnancy as still not to 14 week mark so dont feel 'safe'.
The first time I got pregnant I fell so in love with my little bean and was heartbroken when it died at 8 weeks...
I guess Im wondering if you ever start to relax and enjoy?
Makes me feel better to see so many successful ladies here with bumps and babies.

Hey maz32
I am 18 weeks today
So happy things seem to be going well.
Just battling with chronic headaches and lower back pain. Saw my obgyn and she said all is normal and there is nothing to worry about.
So I will be going for my next scan at 22 weeks. Seems like it is forever and a day away.
So how are you doing? Have you been feeling much movement?

SparkyMalarky · 19/01/2009 12:31

Hey Diji - come and join us on the new thread - Link in my message above!
