Due January 2027 anyone?

I couldn’t see an existing thread, so I thought I’d start one. If there is one already going, please point me in the right direction - though I imagine there are not many people due in this month just yet!!

I just found out I’m pregnant. I’ve calculated my due date to be the 1st of January 2027.

This is my third pregnancy. It’s come as a bit of a shock, but a very happy one! My first two were quite close together, and I thought I’d left the baby phase behind. I also gave away all our baby stuff already 🫠

It would be nice to chat to others in the same stage of pregnancy as we go through it all together 🥰

Hi ladies, had my dating scan on Monday and my due date is 3rd Jan so currently 13+4. This will be my first child 🥰 so excited but nervously awaiting the NIPT results. In that in-between stage where I’m bloated and wearing elasticated waistbands but bump has not yet appeared so too early for maternity clothes! Can’t wait to start feeling my baby move, I bet it’s amazing

Hi everyone, just joining the chat now that I've had my 12 week scan and everything seems more real! This is DC2 for us and I'm finding the fatigue and nausea so much harder this time, with a 1.5 year old to chase around at the same time.
I'm also with previous posters in feeling the bloat and getting a bit of a pregnancy belly already! Just holding out for our nipt results before we let a few more people know, and in the meantime I'm hoping people are just too polite to comment 😂
The temperature is creeping up again here, hope you're all coping ok in the heat!

erihskreb · 06/07/2026 13:19

Congratulations on the positive scans @taytay2020 and @Bluetulips25 😄 Hope all goes well with the NIPT.

I reached out to my local nursery to find out what the timelines are for applications if we want our baby to start in Jan 2028. They said we need to join the waiting list now as they already have several babies down to join then which seems absolutely crazy!!

@erihskrebdo you have to take in deliveries, move boxes etc? Depends what sort of office you are in I suppose. I haven’t officially told work yet - waiting for 12 week scan - but I’m worried people will guess because I feel like I’m already showing at 10 weeks. It is DC3 for me though.

I feel this. I'm almost 10 weeks and definitely have a lil bump in the afternoons. Third pregnancy for me

Doctor1988 · 07/07/2026 14:58

My chromosomal risks came back low but my Papp-A also low. Doesn’t change what was already happening (aspirin and frequent growth scans from 28 weeks) but does make me nervous!

I’ve had four scans already 😂

MustBeThursday · 09/07/2026 19:06

Dating scan today - I’m 13w5d (not 12w as I thought) and a new due date of 9th Jan

Lollie2903 · 13/07/2026 14:02

Hi all, hows everyone feeling? Surviving the heat?
Whos had their scans? Whos announced?! Anyone bought anything exciting?
Im 12+2 but have my scan next monday.
Getting quite nervous now. Always get worried something will be wrong and considering NIPT test. I had it with my daughter as her nuchal fold reading was high. Hoping ill feel better once I have my tests on NHS but we'll see!
Hope your all well <3

ChasingRainbow5 · 13/07/2026 14:45

I had my scan this morning, my fluid is slightly low which isn’t a cause for concern but did mean baby was scrunched up and they couldn’t get measurements for dating or screening 😩

I've to go back in three weeks (I got stressed and can’t remember exactly why it has to be three weeks but I think in the hope the fluid will have increased) so I’ve decided to have private NIPT in the meantime.

NoCheese2026 · 13/07/2026 16:40

I'm 11+3 with a scan next Tuesday. Also wondering whether to do private NIPT, it seems so expensive so think will wait until after NHS and then see. It is so hot! Still pretty nauseous and tired so hoping the second trimester changes things...

erihskreb · 15/07/2026 18:56

@MustBeThursday snap - same due date here 🥰

@ChasingRainbow5 that must be so stressful - fingers crossed for you!

Anyone else getting horrible swollen ankles in this heat? I went to a wedding at the weekend and after a few dances my shoes barely fit on my fat feet!

JemRose · 18/07/2026 08:23

Travelling for Christmas… anyone else already thinking ahead? It’s our turn to visit my OH’s family for Xmas this year but they live 4.5 hours away and my due date is 16th Jan… there was a big fall out last Xmas when we went to my family and didn’t also travel to visit husbands… not sure my MIL will forgive me for skipping another year!

erihskreb · 18/07/2026 15:12

@JemRose ooh that’s tricky! I wouldn’t want to go any further than you’d be comfortable driving a newborn in case the baby comes early, and I don’t think you’re meant to have them in the car seat for more than 2 hours. We were originally meant to be visiting family overseas which is obviously not happening now, so have agreed we will host at ours but keep it low key and DH will do the cooking (we’ll probably get a lot of M&S ready made stuff). Is that an option for you?

ChasingRainbow5 · 18/07/2026 15:46

@JemRose not for Christmas but we were supposed to be visiting my in laws in November and I’ve already cancelled, it’s a 7-8 hour drive plus stops for our toddler. Do whatever you feel comfortable with and if it upsets anyone, that’s their problem!

MustBeThursday · 19/07/2026 11:35

@JemRose I could not have done a 4.5 hour drive at 36-37 weeks pregnant with my other children. Can they not travel to you?

MustBeThursday · 19/07/2026 11:38

Is anyone else completely exhausted? I’m 15 weeks and thought the 1st trimester fatigue would have subsided a bit by now. I don’t remember being this exhausted with my other 2 but I am much older this time

JemRose · 19/07/2026 20:00

@erihskrebThat sounds like a dreamy simple xmas plan! I kinda wish that was an option for me but we live on the same family compound as my parents and I have 3 siblings who will all be coming to the farm for xmas + all their families! So no privacy/calm xmas for us really at home either... Plus I have 2 kids under 5 already so it's gunna be chaos anyway!

@ChasingRainbow5So amazing of you to be clear with your boundaries and cancel plans, I need your confidence!

@MustBeThursday As i mentioned above, because we live on my families farm with my parents (seperate homes, same farm) they cant really come to us for xmas because that will essentially be inviting them to have xmas with my whole extnded side of the family... and I dont think that would fly for either party. OH and I both come form large families with strong Matriarch mums and xmas is a big deal for both...

Also I feel you on the exhaustion! 14 weeks and thankfully less sick but still constant fatigue. OH has just been away for work for 7 days and nights solid and I have cried every day with sheer exhaustion after very long days alone with the children. Sooo looking forward to second trimester energy to kick in. When will it end?!?!?!

Yes! I thought it would be over now by 15 weeks too but I'm fading fast by 3pm and if I don't nap, I'm barely making it to 9pm 😴

Lollie2903 · 20/07/2026 16:05

Afternoon girls. Had my first scan today and so buzzing. Feels so much more real now. What we thinking?! 🩷🩵

NoCheese2026 · 21/07/2026 15:19

I had my scan today too! 1 in 770 for T21 but high risk for preclampsia apparently so I'll start taking aspirin and get an extra scan at 36 weeks which seems pretty good. Your picture is much better than the ones we got!!

What do the ratios mean? is 770 low risk? I'm tempted to do the NIPT as this always confuses me. Nice to get an extra scan though! :) We had to pay £5 each for our scan pictures!

Edited

It is low, I think anything smaller than 150 counts as high. We got the photos free in exchange for letting them take a photo of the placenta for research (?!). How were others' scan experiences?

MustBeThursday · 22/07/2026 08:02

I was pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to pay for our scan photos - we had to pay last time we were there (admittedly 9 years ago). I’ve come back low risk for the trisomy screening tests which is good. I’ve also now seen the consultant so have lots of appointments coming through - GTT at 28 weeks due to PCOS, growth scans due to rheumatoid arthritis which can apparently cause low birth weight which I was not concerned about as my youngest was huge, and an anaesthetic review due to previous anaesthetic issues. Everyone I’ve seen so far is trying to convince me to go for a VBAC but I’m not sure whether to just request another c section - my first I had a 3rd degree tear and my second was a section because she was breech.

oh amazing! Speaking to my friends its basically based on the sonographer you get. some are nice and give you them for free haha. But obvs very worth it :) <3 I was told I have another anterior placenta this time which I was hoping wasn't the case but hey ho!

I was classed as high risk with my last for having psoriasis (like i had it once on my eyelid lol) and raynauds which I thought was excessive but LOVED all the growth scans and extra appointments. Makes time go quicker :)

I'm booking a private scan for 16 weeks to find out the gender, anyone else finding out!? I cant wait much longer its driving me crazy!

Already have a little girl and would love another but had a feeling it was a boy as pregnancies were so different and I was craving salt and vinegar crisps but since the scan I've uploaded the scan to a couple nub theory groups and obviously ChatGPT and they've all said leaning towards a girl!

My date has gone back a day, official due date is now 24th January, anyone else??
