I couldn’t see an existing thread, so I thought I’d start one. If there is one already going, please point me in the right direction - though I imagine there are not many people due in this month just yet!!

I just found out I’m pregnant. I’ve calculated my due date to be the 1st of January 2027.

This is my third pregnancy. It’s come as a bit of a shock, but a very happy one! My first two were quite close together, and I thought I’d left the baby phase behind. I also gave away all our baby stuff already 🫠

It would be nice to chat to others in the same stage of pregnancy as we go through it all together 🥰

I think I’m getting faint positives 🙈 my EDD would be 05 Jan with baby number four. A much discussed baby but it’s all happened very quickly 😂🙊

Sparkles512 · 25/04/2026 21:54

Hi, I am pregnant with baby number 3. We had an early miscarriage in January so feeling very anxious 😟
EDD 3rd January I think?

Lillybobs86 · 25/04/2026 22:30

Hi all can I join? :))
Got my positive on Tuesday - After a second trimester loss beginning of the year :(
I’m 4 weeks today - looks like due date 4th January ❤️

tierneytarny · 26/04/2026 05:55

Another test…a less (though still) faint positive. Eeeeekkk

I just knew. I took two tests early on (as in 6/7DPO (unsurprisingly negative!)). I got three very VERY faint clear blue positives but first response was negative and then finally, the last two days of first response have been faint positives.

Very excited, but petrified. We always said three and then baby three arrived and he was so gorgeous and amazing that we decided we might have four! And here we are 🙈

Orangesaretheonly · 26/04/2026 06:35

I’m due Boxing Day with my fourth baby, wanted to say congrats! Might end up being a Jan baby might not!

Orangesaretheonly · 26/04/2026 06:35

Maybe we need a ‘pregnant with your fourth baby’ thread!

tierneytarny · 26/04/2026 06:36

eeek how exciting! A Christmas baby! How nervous are you for baby number four? It’s still slowly sinking in. I so wanted this but suddenly feel scared 😂

Exactly the same. Since my third was ten days old I’ve wanted a fourth. He’s almost 3 it will be the biggest gap of all of my children but I’m so nervous and very excited!

We probably do 😂

We were exactly the same. Knew instantly we had room in our hearts for one more. There’ll be approx 2yrs 3 months between my youngest and new baby and 7 years oldest to youngest. It feels nuts 😂🙈

My eldest will be 8 this summer, my second is 6 and the little one is 3! It does feel totally nuts!! I only know two people irl with 4 children so it would be good to virtually know some more!

Teresa7 · 26/04/2026 08:16

Congratulations @tierneytarny- it’s that feeling when the test is so faint “should I get excited yet?” And you get more and more positives, and then they get darker and darker 🥰

So sorry about your losses @Lillybobs86and @Sparkles512, but congratulations on your positives ❤️

@Orangesaretheonlycongratulations on your pregnancy! I am now wondering if I may end up with a Christmas baby as my last baby was a little early… however, I’m also half expecting they will push my due date back at the dating scan. I didn’t measure ovulation, but when I did for TTC my first two I found I always ovulated around day 20. So theoretically any scan should show a foetus who’s been growing for a week less than they’re expecting 😅

Thank you @Teresa7xx

This pregnancy was a complete shock as we only started trying again last month and negative last month.
But this month we completely missed dtd around ovulation 😂
I was fine about that. But it was the month I thought I was out so was not crazy counting days past ovulation and symptoms spotting lol
And then end up with a positive ❤️
They always say it happens when not stressing or trying and that’s happened that way for us this time!
I’m so blessed to be here so again so soon after a loss, I have 2 children already and a third will complete us ❤️

Teresa7 · 26/04/2026 10:22

I definitely think stress is a huge factor @Lillybobs86! Is there much of a gap between this pregnancy and your older two children? My youngest is 3, but my first two were so close together that it seems like a huge gap to me now 🤣 x

Lillybobs86 · 26/04/2026 11:01

My youngest is almost 3 so I think that will be a perfect age gap x

Orangesaretheonly · 26/04/2026 13:49

I feel the same. There was 19 months between my first two, just 3 years between my 2nd and 3rd and there will be 3 and a half years between my little one and this baby. Feels like starting again!

tierneytarny · 27/04/2026 07:46

Got my positive digital test today and a positive on a mom med (which are 25MIU/ml) so I’m calming down a little. Have some nausea too (keep wondering if it’s in my head or not 😂).

Orangesaretheonly · 27/04/2026 12:17

@tierneytarnygood news re test hopefully that’s settled your mind slightly.
I am also feeling very nauseous, and my boobs are gigantic and hurting!

registered with the homebirth team today too- was with them my last 2 babies, neither ended up being born at home but having all my appointments with the same two midwives and at home was fantastic!

tierneytarny · 27/04/2026 14:58

@Orangesaretheonly how exciting! my community is usually pretty good at keeping the same midwife.

I’m more relaxed and don’t feel the need to test all the time thankfully. I’ll probably finish off my loot but then happy to leave it be. Thinking I’ll probably book an early scan for 7 weeks ish (though might try ride it out).

I feel like it’s too early for nausea but every time I cough, I start to struggle.

MsPussinBoots · 27/04/2026 16:22

Hello, I'm another one due Boxing Day but expecting to be later. I found out 11 days ago and they've been the longest days of my life, especially as my partner has left. It's lovely to meet you all!

Lillybobs86 · 27/04/2026 17:00

I had some blood tests today to check levels rising nicely and all good 🙏🏽
Very early scan on Friday as well.

@MsPussinBootsSo sorry to hear that about your partner hope your doing ok hugs x

Sparkles512 · 28/04/2026 11:44

Hi how soon do you need to register with the midwife?
I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks earlier in the year and then had to phone to cancel appointments 😢
How is everyone feeling?

Lillybobs86 · 28/04/2026 11:51

I did it last week just before 4 weeks 😬
I thought it was early - But they accepted it.
I’m high risk so I wanted to do asap (Previous ectopic and 20 weeks loss in earlier this year)
I read somewhere booking in forms online are accepted from 4 weeks 4 days so not sure if that’s across all trusts x
