I couldn’t see an existing thread, so I thought I’d start one. If there is one already going, please point me in the right direction - though I imagine there are not many people due in this month just yet!!

I just found out I’m pregnant. I’ve calculated my due date to be the 1st of January 2027.

This is my third pregnancy. It’s come as a bit of a shock, but a very happy one! My first two were quite close together, and I thought I’d left the baby phase behind. I also gave away all our baby stuff already 🫠

It would be nice to chat to others in the same stage of pregnancy as we go through it all together 🥰

Hi everyone!! I found out I was pregnant last week, EDD 4th Jan 2027🥹 Congratulations all! xx

Teresa7 · 29/04/2026 09:24

I’m sorry @MsPussinBootsthat’s awful! I hope you’re doing okay Flowers Is this your first baby?

Congratulations @BethieBear! 🥰

@Sparkles512I think you can do it as early you like really? Maybe it varies trust to trust. I seem to get relatively high HGC levels and in my first two pregnancies tested quite strongly positive on 8dpo. I rang the midwives the day I found out both times, and they didn’t comment it was too early or anything like that.

I haven’t contacted the midwives yet as I just haven’t got round to it tbh 🤣

I’ve just had a faint positive which would make me due 6th January. I’ve only just had a baby who is 5 months with down syndrome so don’t know what to feel about it at the moment.

mamatotwo98 · 29/04/2026 19:37

Hi everyone! Hope it’s okay to join this thread! My due date is NYE ✨🥳 so I feel like I’m more in line with people here than the December thread! Finding it hard already with first trimester anxiety. Had a MMC and then on to have my two children who are now 1 & 4 but I don’t think the worry ever leaves you after something like that! Baby is an unexpected but wanted surprise!

hope you are all feeling okay! X

CW2211 · 30/04/2026 11:35

Hi all! Bit hesitant about commenting as my positives have been so faint that I’m a little worried about things progressing. But I’ve had a couple of positives since Tuesday when I was 10dpo. EDD would be Jan 6th! I have a November 2022 baby as well so just over a 4 year gap if this works out🤞🏻

IThinkImThirtySomething · 30/04/2026 14:08

I’ve just had a faint positive…. My first baby (who is now 6) was a 1st Jan baby lol so if I am pg again I’ll have another Jan baby… and my husband is Jan 8th… very busy Jan if this is a true positive and it sticks.

EDD would be 14th Jan.

we were going to start officially trying at the end of next month to avoid another Jan due date 😂 but it seems life may have a different plan!

Will test again in a few days if AF doesn’t turn up!

Welcome to all the late December/ January Mums!

Is anyone still testing regularly? I’ve been testing every day with some cheapies and the every two days with first response early response and I don’t think I’m seeing much change in the tests. I know that you’re not meant to use pregnancy tests as an indicator for rising HCG but I’ve always seen a progression in my previous pregnancies.

Hello all! Just had my positive and due January 2027. Congratulations everyone!

I did a test yesterday. I felt really rough but feel much better today. Still super worried.

Is anyone booking an early scan?
I'm not sure if we will. We haven't done one before but I'm much more anxious this time after our miscarriage

RetroMam · 02/05/2026 01:15

Can I join? Just found out I’m pregnant with our 2nd baby, due around the 2nd.

Teresa7 · 02/05/2026 08:41

Congratulations to all ❤️

@Sparkles512 I’ve been considering it. I had one with my first child at 6 weeks and it was really reassuring to see the heartbeat. With my second I didn’t, but by about week 10 I regretted waiting as the wait for the twelve week scan felt like aaaages. But by that point, it seemed silly to get a private one when the 12 week one was so soon! But then after the twelve week scan was done, I was glad I’d saved my money by not getting a private one. Pros and cons!

Can I very, very, very tentatively join?

🤞🏻 should be due 5th Jan if this one goes ok! Not first pregnancy but would be first baby - had a traumatic loss last summer and nothing since then but trying to be optimistic this time.

Congrats everyone 🎉🎉💙💗

ByAgileBrickGoose · 02/05/2026 08:55

@Sparkles512 I’ve had 3 miscarriages in the past all round 6-8 weeks and it does worry you so you’re not alone. My last son who is 5 months now also has Down syndrome so I’ve got extra worries too.

strawberrycake12 · 02/05/2026 20:10

Is anyone feeling sore? I keep getting a dull pain from I’m guessing implantation.

ladybird30 · 02/05/2026 21:02

👋🏻 Baby No.2 due 5th January, very excited 🥰

PickleThePenguin · 03/05/2026 05:05

Hello, joining tentatively too! We were going away on holiday yesterday so I did a test before we left for the airport at 9 dpo and could see a squinter (well I could DH wasn't sure), so now being sensible food and drink wise. Have tested again today and it's still very faint but definitely darker.

Based on last day of period looks like I'll be due 16th Jan. This will hopefully be our first, we had 2 losses last year so really hoping this is our time.

Congratulations to you all 🩷🩵

Beauport · 03/05/2026 05:43

Another tentatively joining as just got my positive :)

strawberrycake12 · 03/05/2026 06:04

Congrats everyone!! So exciting!

Is anyone feeling sore? I keep getting a dull pain from I’m guessing implantation.

I had a bit of period pain the day before my positive and day of, but was quite mild. I did have a different pain one day (like I was being poked inside) so was wondering if that was implantation related.

tierneytarny · 03/05/2026 08:09

Unfortunately it looks like I’m having a chemical. My lines are getting fainter and the digital said not pregnant this morning. I’ve been worried for the last few days about line progression so I think I knew. I’m still exhausted which seems cruel and AF hasn’t turned up yet (though I wish it would as it keeps a slither of hope even when I know there isn’t any).

Who knew you could love something so much that you have known about for such a short period of time?! I have been so lucky to have not experienced this before.

I wish you all the very best on this beautiful journey.

I’m going to ask admin to remove me from this thread.

erihskreb · 03/05/2026 17:47

Another one tentatively joining - I got a positive test on Friday and did a digital this morning which said 2-3 weeks since conception so fingers crossed we will hopefully welcome baby #1 around the first week of January. We have been having fertility treatment and the (NHS) clinic have booked me a viability scan for 7 weeks, I don’t think I will really believe it until then so I totally understand those thinking about booking early private scans!

CW2211 · 03/05/2026 17:56

Hope everyone is doing well!

To answer @tierneytarny I am still testing pretty much daily as since 10DPO they still seem quite faint. I should be 15DPO today and have noticed SOME progression but I’m not sure if it’s really as much as it should be. These are some of the same brand tests a couple days apart, anyone have any similar that have progressed okay?
I’m thinking about doing a digital tonight - did one on Wednesday at 11DPO but realised later that it was likely out of date since I had it from my first pregnancy 4 years ago…so I tried not to worry about it saying not pregnant

Hi! Just found this thread. Baby #2 for me due 3rd January all being well 🤞🏻 I’ll have an elective C-section which are usually from 39 weeks in my trust but with that being over the festive period I think I’ll probably still have a January baby.
Hope everyone is doing okay!

Lillybobs86 · 04/05/2026 09:00

I’m so sorry @tierneytarny😢❤️
