I'm off for a scan today, hoping it will be some good news after a crap week. Had to go home ill on Monday with awful cramps, got a parking ticket WHILST PICKING UP my new permit at work, and then DS fell off a climbing frame at the park yesterday so off we went to A&E 🙈

Checking in - still very anxious about the disappearance of all symptoms for 10 days now. Scan on 8th and I’m having awful dreams / anxiety.

Just need to struggle on through today then it's my day off tomorrow and have my booking appointment

I'm having a private scan in two weeks time. Still worried, not feeling my usual tiredness today but I know symptoms come and go.

Currently on holiday with in-laws and they're lovely but it's still hard not having your own space as we're together almost 24/7. I'm someone who needs my space and I love silence but it's not bad getting our of your comfort zone from time to me.

Looking forward to going home, feeling somewhat stressed about going back to work though.

Overall, going away has been a welcome distraction for sure.

When's your scan?

@Ginnygi I had a scan last week at 8 weeks and got my NHS one on 25th August. Nice it's bank holiday so my DP and I are having the day off together while DS at nursery.

I'm so looking forward to second trimester. I just don't feel like myself at all right now, so tired and feeling icky, never know what I want to eat and have no focus to work at all

sorry I meant it's a bank holiday on the day of our scan, the 25th August. We plan to go out for some lunch and have a look at some baby bits all being well

Wow, part 2 thread already!! Good luck to everyone having scans today! Will keep everything crossed for you!

8+2 today and my nausea is still hanging around most of the day, some days are worse than others and being a passenger in a car still makes it worse! Feeling ok otherwise and trying to resist the temptation to book another private scan as can’t really afford it! But already been 2 weeks since last one and struggling with not knowing everything is still ok and as it should be.

Had my booking in appointment this morning - forgot how intrusive and detailed some of the questions are!! They were super lovely though and really reassuring with my history. Said they wish they could offer/do more by way of arranging early scans but just not protocol here unless I’m in pain or bleeding.

Feeling a bit less anxious now because it really is out of my control. Scan being booked for next weekend tonight I think

Had my second scan today, all measuring perfectly! Sonographer last week wasn’t sure if she could see a second yolk sack 😬 but today confirmed there is just one little bean 🥰

Checking in scan was good today measuring 7 weeks 3 days( due to transfer I should be 7 weeks 4 but not at all concerned), was really clear and seen a heart beat. 🥰🤞🙏🏻✨

i was another having a scan today, all looking good at 8+4. Finally starting to believe it might actually happen now xx
