Creating this as a space to continue the Feb 2025 chat - quite frankly it's all starting to feel very, very real right now!

@UrbanSquirrel love the new group name! Yes feeling very real now xx

NeedSleepNowPls · 23/01/2025 13:35

Liking the new name! It definitely feels like it's time- have 8 days to go till due date and very impatient now! How's everyone feeling?

UrbanSquirrel · 23/01/2025 13:40

@NeedSleepNowPls Five days to go here, and your username basically sums up how I feel, with the added irony that, after Tuesday, I won't be able to sleep properly for the next 18 years... 😜 x

10 days to go until induction - currently 37+4
So excited!!!

Haha I'm so in denial about it all I'm pretty convinced we'll sleep better once the babies arrive. No heartburn and being able to lie on our fronts again 🤗 the small issue of the cluster feeding babies waking us up is a problem for later on

superj21 · 23/01/2025 13:48

Can't believe we're on thread 5! What a ride it's been 😊 it's been great to have this forum (and the FB group!) for support 😊

UrbanSquirrel · 23/01/2025 14:23

@superj21 Absolutely agree: this community has been a godsend. I'm unlikely to ever meet most of you, but I've come to think of you all as friends / comrades 🤗

@NeedSleepNowPls Yes, you're quite right: the heartburn can sod right off, thank you very much... 😂

Same here @UrbanSquirrel !

Hhdxx · 23/01/2025 16:14

Yay! Nearly there! 22 days until planned C-section here! X

UncharteredWaters · 23/01/2025 17:15

3/52 today for my ELCS and it seems so close and yet so far!

retrievermum · 23/01/2025 17:38

Had a horrible consultant appointment today so feeling quite sorry for myself and quite pressured to make decisions I don’t want to make. Hope the rest of you are doing better!

UrbanSquirrel · 23/01/2025 18:04

So sorry to hear that @retrievermum. Can we give you any moral support / encourage you to push back? Just let us know. Can you ask for a second opinion? xxx

UrbanSquirrel · 23/01/2025 18:05

@UncharteredWaters I have read your message several times and I am sure it's something completely obvious, and it's just that my brain has finally shut down completely... what does 3/52 mean? x

retrievermum · 23/01/2025 18:15

@UrbanSquirrel I’ve pushed back completely (probably gone a bit extreme with my push back but I just got so frustrated!) but just feeling totally deflated. My community midwife has been amazing with it and I’m too stubborn to be forced into anything, but it’s just left me totally oxytocin free, which isn’t what I need right now!

UrbanSquirrel · 23/01/2025 18:20

You sound indomitable - brava! As a fellow stubborn person, I salute you 👏🏻 And fantastic that your midwife is on your side. Let's hope you can get your own way. And fingers crossed that the oxytocin levels restabilise soon. Sending supportive vibes 🤗 xxx

@UrbanSquirrel thank you for staying on top of these threads for us!

I’m currently still counting down to mat leave…6 working days left. I’ve left myself a week in between the last day of work and my c-section. I’m so done with work though and mentally checked out 🤣. I’ve just finished my last big project today and the relief is real!

Sunnywalker · 23/01/2025 19:54

Following 😳

Peters27 · 23/01/2025 20:05

@UrbanSquirrel 3/52 is 3 weeks!(medical lingo!) :)

apple67cherry · 23/01/2025 20:22

FTM and 37+4. Tonight I have lower back pain and now nausea and vomiting has come out of nowhere..could this be a sign 👀

Piluka · 23/01/2025 20:24

@SBelfast Sending you lots of best wishes for your baby boy and hope you are able to be with him very soon!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@UrbanSquirrel @ThisLimeDeer i guess you are right about raising the issue to prevent other mums to have the same issue leading to something terrible. How should I do it? I don't know how it works.

UrbanSquirrel · 23/01/2025 20:31

Thank you @Peters27! All has become clear 😃

@apple67cherry How are you feeling now? Any doubts or anything out of the ordinary I would call triage. Good luck! x
