Hello! Thought I would start an October thread as technically my EDD is 2nd October. Ivf pregnancy so I know very early at 5dp5dt which is equivalent to 10dpo.

Anyone else know they are due in October yet?

I’m suffering with indigestion, and very gassy/burpy. Had a few twinges on my right side which is where ectopic was so I have a scan today at 2.15 to see if placement of pregnancy can be confirmed. Fingers crossed 🤞 this is also the longest I’ve been pregnant so cautiously optimistic.

We almost exactly matched on our dates which is nice 😊 I've not had heart burn but I'm embarrassingly out of breath. Feels far too early for that to be anything pregnancy related. Still exhausted a lot of the time and some queasiness at random points in the day

Hi everyone! I had a faint positive line at 9DPO which was stronger at 10DPO, took a clear blue and the line was so strong! I’ve taken 5 more since then and all nice strong lines. I think I’ll be due around the 13th October. It’s my first pregnancy and I’m so anxious which is ruining the excitement a bit.

I'm exhausted all the time at the moment, the girls are so sore and the nausea is on and off. Is anyone else getting cramping like they’re due on their period?

Hey everyone, hoping I can join, think will be due 1st October 😊 not feeling pregnant as yet just very tired seems like a long wait for first appointments booking appointment end of feb and they advise on the email 1st scan usually around 13 weeks X

Hi, hope it’s ok for me to join, I’ve had a positive test this morning, AF is a couple of days late and I’ve had a few symptoms. I’ve had really light bleeding on and off which fits with implantation bleeding but have just had bright red blood when going to the toilet. I had a miscarriage last year so I’m finding the bleeding really hard even though google says it can happen. Does anyone have any advice/ reassurance or should I be prepared that it’s not going to work this time?

@Caitlinsarah yep, I’m a week or so ahead of you (due 1st) and last week I was having cramps, had to take a paracetamol a couple of times to get to sleep. All seems fine and I’m not really getting it now, so hopefully it’s all good and will wear off for you soon.

Also very out of breath going up stairs over here… I like to think that wasn’t true a few weeks ago but maybe I’m wrong 😅

First baby got me flo says 6th Oct for due date. My tummy feels fluttery, lots of wind and struggle to get to sleep and wake early. Quite tired but early days

Morning! I'm 5+1 today and the cramps have worn off, but i feel a bit queasy today! I wasn't sick until 8 weeks with my first so it's caught me off guard! Maybe i'm just paying more attention this time but I feel so pregnant already 😂

Hiya, I used the Pregnancy+ app for my daughter two years ago and loved it! Just downloaded it again. It's totally free.

I have also been paying for the Premom app for tracking ovulation etc. and once you get a positive test you can convert it into a pregnancy tracker... I am using that as well as I've already paid for it...

Hope everyone is feeling OK - these first few weeks are such a drag aren't they! Just had my booking appointment through for over 9 weeks!

Are you feeling just a bit strange? I'm not sure if it's sick or just strange and I can't stop burping LOL so trying to take it easy it's hard to concentrate on anything else isn't it?

Due date should be around the 5th ...this is our first, so I'm feeling a little bit freaked out/excited/confused.
I've called my GP today but the receptionist said to just call directly the hospital when I'll be 7 weeks to book an appointment with the midwife.
Am I missing something? Am I supposed to do anything else in the meantime, aside from taking folic acid supplements and waving goodbye to all the good stuff (coffee, wine and cheese)?

Congrats @Priklypear ! It is really weird how we just don’t see anyone for the first bit isn’t it. I found it weird with my first.

the only thing you might need to see a GP for is if there is any medication you are on so it can be reviewed in case things need to change now you are pregnant.

no need to wave goodbye to coffee- 200mg of caffeine a day is ok so that’s about one cup 🙌

Congratulations everyone! Tentatively joining - got my first properly visible line this morning (15dpo) after 3 days of very very faint lines which is so different from my first pregnancy which was a dye stealer by now so feeling quite nervous. Hoping it means this second baby would be more chilled than my first rather than a chemical pregnancy.

@Priklypear would recommend Emily Oster's book for all the research behind the pregnancy rules - coffee, etc. Then you don't restrict totally unnecessary things!

Hi hope its OK for me to join. I'm 5 weeks 4 days today, got my 3+ on cbd yesterday. The girls are sore, no sickness yet, alot of headaches though. How's everyone feeling? Is everyone waiting for the nhs 12 week scan or are you tempted have an early one. I'm unsure what to do. I feel like 12 weeks is such a long time

Hi all. I’ve been TTC my first for almost 4 years and it’s been a journey. Just as we were doing consultations for ivf, we got our first BFP!! EDD is 8th October which feels like a miracle. I am now 5w2d according to natural cycles, but think I ovulated later than predicted as my lines are only just starting to get a bit darker. I got my first BFP 11 days ago now which is super exciting. I am so nervous about pregnancy, convinced everything could go so wrong. I’ve been doing private betas too which are low numbers and slow rising, but rising nonetheless. Wishing you all lots of health and sticky babies ✨

Care to share your 10dpo tests. This is mine wondering if I’m right to think this is really strong for 10 dpo?
