Hello! Thought I would start an October thread as technically my EDD is 2nd October. Ivf pregnancy so I know very early at 5dp5dt which is equivalent to 10dpo.

Anyone else know they are due in October yet?

Also forgot how disruptive waking up at 3am to go pee is. So difficult to fall back asleep! Keep reminding myself that Im grateful to be in this position!

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 14:27

@roowoop yes definitely, I had one before my first and was incredibly anxious especially before any scans. I did feel excited though and also very grateful

@DogMum99 ah I just replied to you in
the September thread 🤣 I feel like we’re so far behind the dates in that group!

Haha, fancy seeing you here 😆. Honestly everyone in that group seems to be between 5 & 8 weeks, it's really difficult trying to relate as they are all getting early reassurance scans and getting sickness, etc, already and I'm just sat in the corner at 4 weeks today 🤣

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 14:36

@DogMum99 yes definitely! A few weeks apart is so different in the first trimester isn’t it, and I feel like the thread has been going ages already without us🤣

JellyBean123456 · 21/01/2025 14:37

Although my due date is 3rd Oct I'll have to have a c section at 39 weeks so would be a late September baby. But it just feels right to be with you all at the same stage!

Are you both likely to have September babies too? X

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 14:41

@JellyBean123456 my little girl was born at 39+3 But I know that probably doesn’t mean anything! I had a sweep for her which I’m not sure I would have again, I had such a long early labour 😖 I think I will be the very end of September if my dates end up moving like I guess they will!

DogMum99 · 21/01/2025 14:49

@BGxxx exactly that! 🤣 whereas we will be one of the earlier ones due in this group which I much prefer to being the last!😆 x

@JellyBean123456 glad you feel the same way! My EDD is 30/9 and I was tracking ovulation so I don't think my dates will move much, but felt like I wanted to join here as everyone will be more around the same stage. The September group are so far ahead now x

Littlepickle5 · 21/01/2025 15:55

Congrats everyone! I'm parking myself here - my due date is technically 30/9 or 01/10
Positive test this morning with my first. Still in shock I think! xx

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 15:58

@DogMum99 I was one of the early ones in my last due date group too and it was so nice not being the ones left waiting to give birth 🤣

Hello everyone 🤍
Congratulations all, amazing :)
I’m nearly 5 weeks and due at the end of September. I unfortunately suffered an ectopic pregnancy in August 2024, and this has been my first positive since, I’m extremely anxious and just trying to stay calm. I do have a scan booked for next Wednesday the 29th at the early pregnancy unit, just hoping that comes around quick and we get some good news 🤞🤞
🤍

This is exactly the same as me, but my ectopic was Sep.
Got my early scan day after tomorrow. So incredibly nervous.
I'm 4W6D today so I'm worried it'll be too early for them to see anything?

Congratulations to you, and everyone on this thread. Keeping everything crossed for us all 😘

I thought it was just me! Never been through this so it's an experience so far 🤣

My transfer was 14th. I def wasn't as tired last time, although I was on summer hols then so maybe I would have been if at work. Sadly that ended in mc at 8+3.

I did have symptoms v early last time. Are you on meds? They can influence tiredness too. I'm on estrogen 3x a day and progesterone 3x a day and inhixa injections 1x a day

Yes. All that plus 1x lubion, aspirin and steroids. Going ti have hard time letting go when time comes. Or maybe il be so done with them il be glad to get rid

Welcome everyone! Thread is filling up nicely!

Anyone else completely exhausted?! I'm at work and I could honestly lay down on the hard floor and sleep right now.

Yes! I am totally wiped out. I don't remember being so tired this earlier with my previous pregnancies. I fell asleep at 8pm last night!

roowoop · 21/01/2025 18:46

We are a right sleepy bunch eh. 😂

IVFlife · 21/01/2025 20:59

@roowoop yes I had a mc at 8+3 after a FET in summer. Now 3+5 with this wee one. Driving myself mad with testing!

Oh wow! Really! Yeah I feel your nerves with you, my scan isn’t until next Wednesday 29th I’ll be 6 weeks the wait is killing me :(
Ahh congratulations to you too! Hope the scan goes well for you, please keep us updated 🤍 wishing you all the best x

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 21:14

I’m finding it really weird not being certain of dpo this time! It’s a long wait to have it confirmed at a scan too. Really can’t decide when to have an early one

Do it! I'm trying to decide when would be best to book in for an early scan as I want one asap but I know it'll be better if I wait a bit! So difficult to decide when 😆

DogMum99 · 21/01/2025 21:27

@BGxxx I read your comment completely wrong there- thought you put that you wasn't sure whether to have an early one 😆 I'm in the same boat though- not sure when's best!

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 21:47

@DogMum99 I think I’m going to do around 8 weeks, although the temptation to have a 6 week one is real but I’m trying to be good 🤣🤣

I wish there was more nhs scans! Finding out so early and then having to wait so long for a scan is awful. I reckon I'm going to cave and go for one around 6 weeks, just as me & dh are both on annual leave that week, so it's fate right? 🤣

StJamesInfirmary · 22/01/2025 05:58

Has anyone referred to the midwife team yet? I was going to wait a few weeks but I'm 4 weeks today and my app says to get in touch with them now. Seems super early so checked on my local trusts website and they also say to refer as early as possible. I'm rhesus negative so will need anti-d and can't remember how early they want to give it 😕

BGxxx · 22/01/2025 08:02

@StJamesInfirmary I think I got my first lot of anti d around 28 weeks after I’d had the blood test to confirm the babies blood type! I’m going to leave it a couple of weeks to refer, last time I think I was 7 weeks when I called

@DogMum99 oh yes definitely 🤣 I’ll be even more tempted if other people are having them 🥲🤣

monicabella1234 · 22/01/2025 11:19

Hello there - can I join please? I got my first BFP last Tuesday, after a FET. 5 weeks tomorrow.

Feeling anxious as not ‘feeling’ very pregnant, a few rogue cramps, but not much else. Got a 2 - 3 weeks pregnancy on CB last Thursday, and plan to test again tomorrow (clinic said test once a week till first scan).

It is usual not to experience symptoms around this stage, right? Looking for some reassurance. Thank you.
