Hello! Thought I would start an October thread as technically my EDD is 2nd October. Ivf pregnancy so I know very early at 5dp5dt which is equivalent to 10dpo.

Anyone else know they are due in October yet?

Hello! Congratulations!

I'm due on tomorrow but woke up this morning with a strong urge to test and have had 2 positives! EDD is 1st Oct. Bought some digital tests to take tomorrow as can't quite believe it. Will be our third and the disbelief lasted at least few weeks with my older two.

DogMum99 · 20/01/2025 04:30

Hiya! I'm 13dpo today but got my positive at 9dpo. I'm technically due 30/9 but would like to join the October group as very well could be an October baby, if that's okay? Finally got my 1-2 weeks pregnant on a digital last night which was exciting as I was really worried about line progression from 9-12dpo! Xx

StJamesInfirmary · 20/01/2025 05:26

Ahh congratulations also! I've just done a digital and also 1-2 weeks. It's so strange, 2 nights before I tested positive I had a really vivid dream of telling my husband we were having another baby.

I was going to try and find a sweet way to tell him but then yesterday we were talking about something else entirely and he straight out asked if I'd tested and I couldn't keep a straight face!

How are you both feeling? Is it your firsts?

IVFlife · 20/01/2025 09:24

Welcome @DogMum99 and @StJamesInfirmary congratulations! Of course that's fine if Edd is very end of Sept. I am unlikely to be allowed to go until 2nd Oct due to being ivf and various other risk factors so I suspect will be September too. I did poke my head jn their but they all seem so far along and I got a bit overwhelmed! We are all at a similar stage on here.

Hello everyone 🤍
Congratulations all, amazing :)
I’m nearly 5 weeks and due at the end of September. I unfortunately suffered an ectopic pregnancy in August 2024, and this has been my first positive since, I’m extremely anxious and just trying to stay calm. I do have a scan booked for next Wednesday the 29th at the early pregnancy unit, just hoping that comes around quick and we get some good news 🤞🤞
🤍

DogMum99 · 20/01/2025 10:46

@StJamesInfirmary thank you! Congratulations too!! It's so funny how dreams work isn't it! How lovely though. Yes, it'll be our first- I'm getting married on the 6th February so we decided to come off the pill in November to start trying and (was incredibly lucky) to get pregnant on our first cycle. All very exciting and surreal!

@IVFlife thank you! I've been waiting for an October group to appear but didn't want to be the one to create it lol. Exactly that! I'm in the September group and they are all so lovely but everyone at the moment is between 5 & 7 weeks... and I'm only 3+6 so going to be very behind in symptoms/scans etc. It'll be nice to go through it with others at the same time!

@Annie24x so sorry to hear about your ectopic but congratulations! Such a scary but exciting time!!

When is everybody's EDD?

BGxxx · 20/01/2025 11:17

Hey! I tested positive Friday, was a shock because I thought I was only 5dpo! Turns out the ovulation spotting I thought I had was actually implantation. From my period I’m due October 3rd, but I think I ovulated around day 7 so think my dates will all end up changing!

This is baby no2 for me, I have an 18 month old

Sorry to hear about your ectopic, that must of been so scary! I had a mmc before my little girl and it really made the pregnancy such an anxious time.

Hi everyone and congratulations!
I'm tentatively joining you, tested positive yesterday at 9dpo (faint line) which was getting darker today at 10dpo. I'm nervous with this little one as I had two miscarriages and two chemicals last year.

Just taking it a day at a time. Our EDD is 3rd October ❤️

BGxxx · 20/01/2025 16:10

@JellyBean123456 hi! You sound like you’ve had a tough year. Hopefully this time is a lucky one 💘 my period dates say the 3rd too although I think I’m approx 16dpo

JellyBean123456 · 20/01/2025 21:46

@BGxxx hello! Yes last year was awful tbh. We found out we were expecting Dec 23 but an early scan at almost 8 weeks showed baby measuring 6 weeks and a mmc at 10 weeks followed. Then we fell pregnant again but lost that one at 7 weeks. Had a few months of my cycle being all over the place and had chemicals in Oct and Dec! So I'm trying really hard to keep nerves & anxiety in check with this one. Testing daily with fmu to track progress, I'm praying our little baba settles in nicely.
I see you found out quite early on too this time!

BGxxx · 20/01/2025 21:58

@JellyBean123456 i think mmc are the absolute worse, such a horrible feeling in the scan when something is wrong! Is your line progression looking good so far?
This cycle was so random for me, my one previous I didn’t ovulate until day 30+ and this time must of been around day 7 🤣luckily we dtd anyway because I hadnt started LH tests then. I’m hoping to get a 3+ this week so I can stop testing🤞🏻

JellyBean123456 · 21/01/2025 09:39

@BGxxx mmc is dreadful isn't it 😢 We had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. Had a 3+ on digital, dye stealers, skipped 2 periods and even developed a belly!
My line progression is looking good so far, here's a pic of today's test, it's doubled in darkness since yesterday. Got some first response coming today & I'll do a digital sometime this week.
I've put off doing the digital just yet, I find them anxiety inducing!

Sherr33 · 21/01/2025 09:42

Hi I hope I can join. I transferred a FET on the 13th. It was a day 5 blastocyst. Tested yesterday and it was a positive. I've been looking at all baby clothes and such since haha. So crazy.

IVFlife · 21/01/2025 10:37

Welcome everyone! Thread is filling up nicely!

Anyone else completely exhausted?! I'm at work and I could honestly lay down on the hard floor and sleep right now.

Same and I don't think I should be this tired. How far are you post transfer? X

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 11:52

@JellyBean123456 yes I was the same so I don’t know why I bother with line progression because I know it doesn’t really mean anything but it makes me feel better anyway!

@IVFlife I have waves of tiredness but I’m not too bad so far

maple1234 · 21/01/2025 12:30

Hi everyone!! I got my first positive this morning at 11DPO. It's my first time ever having a positive test so was a big shock haha

JellyBean123456 · 21/01/2025 12:40

I'm with you on the tiredness! It seems to hit me after lunch. Just back from soft play with my two year old and I'm hoping he has a nap so I can have a lie down too 🤞

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 12:44

@JellyBean123456 soft play is such a workout 🤣 my toddler is being an actual devil this morning her tantrums are terrible 😵‍💫 it’s naptime for her too, night night 🤣

My transfer was 14th. I def wasn't as tired last time, although I was on summer hols then so maybe I would have been if at work. Sadly that ended in mc at 8+3.

I did have symptoms v early last time. Are you on meds? They can influence tiredness too. I'm on estrogen 3x a day and progesterone 3x a day and inhixa injections 1x a day

Oh yes!! It doesn't matter how much sleep I'm getting at the moment, I'm constantly exhausted to the point my eyes hurt!

BGxxx · 21/01/2025 13:59

@DogMum99 ah I just replied to you in
the September thread 🤣 I feel like we’re so far behind the dates in that group!

roowoop · 21/01/2025 14:25

Hello everyone! Very nervously joining after my first frozen transfer. Im now 9dp5dt. My previous one ended in a MMC at 10 weeks and whilst I am excited, some of the joy has been stolen. Anyone else feel the same? Its such a shame!

But omgosh yes about the exhaustion. I forgot how absolutely draining it feels. The past few days Ive been hitting a wall about this time and its so hard to work through it.
