Hello! Thought I would start an October thread as technically my EDD is 2nd October. Ivf pregnancy so I know very early at 5dp5dt which is equivalent to 10dpo.

Anyone else know they are due in October yet?

Hi everyone, I’m also joining after getting my BFP. This will be our first and we were lucky to fall pregnant on our first cycle which seems too good to be true! EDD is 2nd October. Feeling ok so far just some weird cramps and swollen boobs. Looking forward to being on this journey with you all x

Hi All, Would love to join, tested positive on Friday but have an EDD of the 29th September, this will be my first so hoping to gain lots of advice and support.

Just a few cramps at the moment (was convinced they were period pains and the test would be negative but a few tests later and I am very excited!) xx

@LauraLoo92 this is also our first cycle TTC #1 so definitely feeling like it’s too good to be true.

I was feeling calm last week but more anxious today as my symptoms have gone off a bit, and I’ve recently been told I have high testosterone/ potential PCOS so not sure if that could affect things. It’s going to be a long wait to the first scan! Is anyone thinking of an early scan?

@Catmum23 we are definitely doing an early scan, but not until 7/8 weeks I think. With my first we didn’t and the anxiety of not knowing if everything was ok was so intense. I know an early scan isn’t a guarantee that it will be ok at the 12 week scan but I read that if you see a heartbeat at the 7/8 week mark it is a good indication.

I got my fertility clinic early scan date through yesterday for February. And also my NHS midwife appointment and scan date through today.

Been filling in some bits on my badger notes too. Anyone else have them? Such a clunky app!

Hi everyone 🙂 just tested positive today with my 4th (one living child) one ectopic and one miscarriage so fingers crossed for this one ☝️ early scan booked for next Thursday and I cannot wait already. How is everyone feeling? I don’t think I’ve had any symptoms yet other than slightly tender breasts.

wow some of your maternity teams are so organised. I can’t register until 5 weeks, and I remember last time not getting the booking appt date until 7weeks and then the scan date was after the booking appt had happened. Much nicer to know the appt dates further in advance!

I was testing a bit obsessively as the early @ home tests weren't getting darker which was worrying me. Decided to listen to sage advice from previous pregnancy threads that the tests are not designed to track progression so have stopped for a while.

My maternity service advised registering as early as possible so have my booking appointment at the end of Feb when I'll be 9 weeks, which feels like ages away!

I'm 5 weeks today. Even though I feel exhausted and have heavy limbs I want to feel more sick or something. I know that sounds mad but would just settle me more! Instead I I just don't feel much this week. Although having said that was off work on Mon due to being exhausted so I know in a way I make no sense!

Monday will be 2 weeks until the scan. And I'm terrified. I'm not even bothered about what I'm booking in after that at work as I'm convinced I'll not be going in so it won't matter!!

I’m tentatively hopeful and 16 dpo, the nhs calculator online suggests I would be due 6th October if all goes well.

Hello everyone, tentatively joining, would be due 9th October all going well. I had 3 losses last year so just going a day at a time. I've done a good few tests and the lines are progressing so I'm going to stop now!
I am quite cold and shaky and tonight have a wild craving for some kind of savoury cheese bread, have just sent my husband on a quest to the shops 😅 Probably too early for symptoms so maybe its just me being weird 🙃😅

Hey guys, can I jump on? EDD 3rd October apparently! Hopefully will be my second child - have DD age 4 and had a MMC at 10wks in Nov 24.
Symptoms wise not much really which feels odd. I do have HG pregnancies but sickness doesn’t usually start ramping up until about wk6 so it could just be too early?
I have an early scan booked at the EPU on 13 Feb (will hopefully be 7 wks) and might be getting progesterone

There seems to be such a huge variation in symptoms at this stage. Some people have loads other's barely any.

Mine seem to fluctuate which is very confusing. I'm awake now as I woke up drenched in sweat and had to change my top. At 6am it's time for my 1st progesterone dose of the day as my body can't make my own. So considering just staying awake until then for ease!

I think I’m looking for symptoms but all I seem to have is a very full feeling low in my tummy and some cramps similarly to period ache. I’m so tempted to buy another clearblue weeks to see if I can get the 3+ but don’t want to worry myself unnecessarily incase I don’t. Doctors on Monday to confirm pregnancy and refer to the midwife. 6 days until scan today to (hopefully!) confirm baby is in the right place. Hope everyone is well this morning 🙂 x

Hi everyone. Excited to be joining you all 😊
I had my first very strong positive test on Sunday, followed by a digital that said 2-3 weeks. I was 3 days late.
Going from my last period, I would have been 3w6d when I did the tests.
Going from conception date (I'm a tracker!) I would have been 4w5d when I did the tests.
Which do you think is more likely?
Have done a self referral for maternity care and looking into getting an early scan in the next few weeks.

@HayleyO7F2 congratulations! All the NHS stuff will go from first day of your last period for dating. From experience though those clear blue weeks ones are more trouble than they’re worth! So much anxiety (and money) wasted trying and failing to get a 3+ and worrying about a loss. My daughter is now 2.5 so obviously the tests weren’t accurate 🤣

I would guess your conception date sounds accurate, but you could of also ovulated early and your period date be right too! I think it’s hard to tell

Just got a positive test today at 10dpo. I had very heavy spotting on Weds/Thurs so thought I’d come on but I guess it must have been implantation bleeding. So was a bit of a shock today to get a positive! EDD is 13th October

It’s my second baby, my little boy is 18 months old

@AutumnBump agree. I'm not ever buying a clear blue digital weeks again. Too much anxiety.

They are GREAT if uou get the number you want/expect. Not good otherwise and such a huge variety of what influences the number.

I'm 5+3 today. Anyone else getting heartburn type symptom? Maybe more reflux actually. I sometimes feel a sicky/lump at back of throat. Bluugh.
