Hello! Thought I would start an October thread as technically my EDD is 2nd October. Ivf pregnancy so I know very early at 5dp5dt which is equivalent to 10dpo.

Anyone else know they are due in October yet?

@StJamesInfirmary I have- I did it the other day at 3+6 once I got a 1-2 on my digital. I'm glad I did as in my email confirmation, it said I'll hear from them within 3 weeks which feels like ages away lol!

@monicabella1234 congratulations! Yes, I wouldn't worry about it yet- I've read that a lot of people start getting symptoms around the 6 week mark. I'm 4+1 today and the only symptom I've noticed so far is that I want to constantly eat 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

Hello there - can I join please? I got my first BFP last Tuesday, after a FET. 5 weeks tomorrow.

Feeling anxious as not ‘feeling’ very pregnant, a few rogue cramps, but not much else. Got a 2 - 3 weeks pregnancy on CB last Thursday, and plan to test again tomorrow (clinic said test once a week till first scan).

It is usual not to experience symptoms around this stage, right? Looking for some reassurance. Thank you.

I wouldn't worry too much about symptom spotting if you've had positive tests. Everyone has very different symptoms all through pregnancy so its good to get out of the habit of comparing too much. I think with first pregnancies the body can take a little longer for some things to happen like feeling kicks etc. For my second I felt things much much earlier than my first and for this, my third, things feel earlier still. All different!

Congratulations

Whoops pressed done too quickly and ended that with a very abrupt congrats 😂 I meant to say congrats on the pregnancy!

BGxxx · 22/01/2025 13:09

I keep feeling sick when I’m hungry but I’m really trying not to over eat🤣 I’ve lost 2 stone lately and I’m back to a lower weight than before I had my daughter so I don’t want to gain too much weight. I’ve also just bought some new jeans and I don’t want to not fit in them before I even get a bump 🤣

Tisfortired · 22/01/2025 13:42

Hello everyone and congratulations :)

I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with number 3. Due date 28/09 but wouldn’t be surprised if it tips over into October.

I am cautiously excited, we tried for DC2 for 5 years and had 3 MCs before we had him so we are in shock. We didn’t plan for 3 and DS2 still feels like a baby to me at just turned two!

JellyBean123456 · 22/01/2025 13:55

Hi everyone,
I wanted to post this this morning but just haven't had the chance! I was up at 6am doing these tests 😂

So I think it's official now after 4 days of faint lines 😊 I'm going to step away from the tests for a few days. Planning to do another digital next week sometime to try and get my 2-3.

Still feeling extremely anxious after 4 losses last year but keeping everything crossed for this little one to stay with us 🥰🥰

Congrats to the new BFP's since I was lost on her yesterday! Looking forward to this crazy ride with you ladies xx

Congratulations to all the positives. I've got my blood test tomorrow. I tested again today still +
I was wondering if anyone was using an app now after their positive (I've been using femia for the TTC even though was on ivf journey)

JellyBean123456 · 22/01/2025 14:37

@Sherr33 I've been using the Femometer app while ttc and it's changed to pregnancy now with development each week. I also have the Pregnancy+ app by Philips which has lovely images and info on xx

BGxxx · 22/01/2025 15:26

I’ve turned my premom on to pregnancy mode. I used an app called preggers last time I liked, it tells you as a percentage how far through pregnancy you are 🤣

I think I’m going to book an early scan for mid feb ☺️ which doesn’t actually feel too far away at all! They don’t scan on Sundays anymore and my partner works most Saturdays so I might have to take my mum instead. But that also means I’d have to take my toddler too😬

Congratulations on all these BFPs! I was thinking about making a due in October WhatsApp group chat, if anyone would be interested in joining? X

Hi Ladies,
Congratulations to you all 😊
My DD is currently 5th Oct.
Have had a miscarriage April 24 (6 weeks) and October 24 (at 6+3 had a private scan this time and baby messure 6+1 therefore they invited me back a week later and baby only grew to 6+3), I'm nervous already and have been reading so many things.
Is anyone taking Apsrin or Progesterone? I've asked my GP for Progesterone, just waiting to hear back 🤞as the EPU won't give me it until 6 weeks. I'm 42 already so time really isn't on my side.

I don't know if I'm worrying for nothing but I've tested today and the line seem so light still. I'm about 14-17dpo and 4 days late to start my period so thought they'd be darker than this by now. They're marginally darker than the test I did on Monday which is when my period was due. I will run out at lunch time get some different brand of tests I think as heard the easy at home aren't great for progression lines. Anyone recommend a different brand I could get from boots? X

Both of these are from this morning btw

BGxxx · 23/01/2025 10:13

You could try boots own brand early detection, they show really good line progression. I’ve had clear line progression on clearblue too! I’ve found easy at home has taken the longest to get a dye stealer

JellyBean123456 · 23/01/2025 12:58

I second boots own early tests. I've used them with a previous pregnancy.

FRER are available on Amazon. If you have prime they come same day or next day.

Fingers crossed for you x

StJamesInfirmary · 23/01/2025 13:10

Thank you! Will pop out in a bit to grab some x

Hi ladies can I join? Just tested positive today 9dpo so due around 7th October! Unfortunately I had mmc in October last year so second pregnancy for me excited and terrified all at same time. We had a fabulous WhatsApp group come from a thread like this last time - am hoping to join/make one for October 2025 babies as it was so useful for advice and support and much more user friendly than Mumsnet!

Hi all. Got a positive test on Wednesday and hopefully will be due on 3 October! Not sure if I'm ready for a whatsapp groups yet (still processing a bit) but would love to tentatively join in here :) Hope everyone's doing well.

Feeling generally ok so far and pretty energetic, but very sore boobs and pretty bloated/heavy.
