Hello! Thought I would start an October thread as technically my EDD is 2nd October. Ivf pregnancy so I know very early at 5dp5dt which is equivalent to 10dpo.

Anyone else know they are due in October yet?

Ohh nub theories! I’ve been trying to have a Google on ours but I get myself confused… I’m thinking girl (we are quietly hoping for a boy, but as long as baby is healthy!) … anyone have any guesses?! 😄

The first image is 12 weeks and the second is 11 weeks. The baby is not cooperative so neither scan has a visible nub. Ironic when I like playing nub theory so much.

Open to guesses too, I think ours is very clear!

Now feeling comfortable enough to join you, had my scan last week and I'm 13 weeks and 1 day today. Been quite lucky symptom wise with very little sickness which I'm not sure if it's morning sickness or from a lingering viral infection and coughing. Due to high BMI I'm on Fragmin injections everyday, been on them since 6 weeks. Don't think a nub is visible in my scan photos. Would love a little boy but thinking it's gonna be a girl.

Have any of you tried chat GPT with your scans? I popped mine in and asked it to guess the gender based on the ramzi theory - the nub isn’t visible on my photos.

It guessed based on the ramzi theory then suggested the nub and skull theory, all three came back as one gender.

Ive no idea if it’s true, I’m 15 weeks - waiting until the 20week scan to confirm. I’m not really fussed what we have, currently waiting for my 16wk midwife apt for the quad test because my midwife didn’t refer me for a scan so I was too late for the NT measurement and bloods.

I never thought of using chat GPT, what a good idea. I did this with 2 scans taken on the same day and it said boy for one scan and girl for the other 😂 on all three theories!

Have to let us know when you officially find out!

Just had my scan, I was measuring ahead at 13+5 weeks! New due date is 23/10.

I’ve always been rubbish with nub theory but I’ve attached my pics - any ideas? I have booked a private gender scan next week to find out so I will confirm then. I have absolutely no preference personally just highly impatient and want to know more about little peanut🥰

Hi guys, sorry I've been quiet - I've been absolutely terrified that something would be horribly wrong today at our scan. Everything is fine and I blubbed so hard! My dates have been brought forward by 5 days, so new date is 24/10 - I don't think I ovulated early, so expecting this to be another big baby 😬

I've no idea about how to tell if it's a boy or girl, but we'll be waiting until the next scan to find out. Only 7 weeks to go!

Thank you! I was really happy with them tbf although baby wasn’t cooperating 🙈 had me up “wiggling like Shakira” as the sonography said haha. My daughter looked like she had an elephants trunk on hers last year!

I also think it looks boyish but have no idea why I think that😂🙈 so thank you xx

As much as I love my little boy and know another boy would be just as lovely, I do hope you're both right about it being a girl! It'd be lovely to have one of each 😊

Also, just tried ChatCPT with the 12 week scan for my son as well as this scan. Nub, skull and Chinese prediction all came up with boy for my son's scan... and all three have come up with girl for this one!!!

Now to try and avoid getting my hopes up 😆

haha Im in the same boat as you but the opposite way around@squishousdelicious as I have a daughter and just did all the others with this scan, Chinese calendar etc and all have come up boy!🤣

Hopefully the next 9 days fly by😂🙈

I did the ChatGPT thing today and all 3 (nub, skull and ramzi) came back as girl 😂. I’ve not got my heart set either way - just want a healthy pregnancy and baby - but I think if I could choose then I’d lean towards a little girl for my first so there’s a small part of
me that was secretly pleased when everything came back girl. I’ve had girl vibes the whole time anyway so we will see what happens in October! 25 more weeks to wait 🤞🏻

I put mine in and as I thought can't see a nub in either of them so I've got to wait for next scan to find out

@Givemethesun we’ve got some potential names picked out but still haven’t found the one, I’m way too picky with names this child might still be nameless when born.

Im the same!! @emmatcc1 we have a list of maybes but with my daughter we were set on the one pretty early!

I’m hoping it will get easier once I know the sex but I’m feeling like we will also have a baby no name😂🙈

We have a boy name but we can’t agree on a girl name.
Have any of you ladies bought anything? I’ve got one cardigan… that’s it. I don’t want to buy anything until we know the gender.

There is a lot of nice neutral items. Also, we’re waiting for the results of the quad test after our 16week midwife apt. Never wished my life away so much lol. Just counting down until the next appointment…
