@TTCBabyHoward Exciting! I was going to wait until I got to 6 weeks to refer but thought I might as well do it today!

I was going to do the same but just referred myself today! Feel better for doing it now. I don’t have many symptoms either but I have been a little crampy today with some pulling sensations on the left side.

babybrain23 · 27/11/2024 16:30

Hey everyone! Lovely to see all of your positive stories !
I have had a v v faint line today! This would be my second baby all going to plan. My LG will be 13 months next week!
I had a MC in early October so hopefully this has a better outcome 😀 my EDD is august 9th!

ohyesherewego · 27/11/2024 16:36

Hello everyone. Delighted I can join you all.

I am EXHAUSTED. Really struggling to get through the day (but not complaining)

DragonflyRuby · 27/11/2024 17:07

I filled out the online form for the booking appointment and they sent me an online letter within half an hour!

They’d booked me an appointment on 10th Jan though which feels ages away! I’d be 10 + 3 and I can’t really do it as it’s my first day back at work. I phoned them and the lady said she’d ask them to contact me with a new date. She didn’t seem remotely concerned I’d be 10+ weeks, when I asked about 12wk scan she said they’d book it after my midwife appointment and it wouldn’t be delayed even though that’s not until 10 weeks.

Yes I always get hospital letters via text link/email. I hope you don’t have to wait much longer!

OneGladTiger · 27/11/2024 19:42

@Parks17 I did it today and I just got an automated email saying somebody would be in touch within 4 weeks! Glad I decided to do it today, hopefully it doesn’t take too long.

Parks17 · 27/11/2024 20:39

@DragonflyRuby thank you!

@OneGladTiger hopefully it doesn't take that long - there's a number to call on my email if they don't get back to you so I'll be calling that as soon as it hits two weeks hahaha

nlas134 · 27/11/2024 20:52

Hi everyone 🙂

I tested positive last week at 10 DPO and am due on the 3rd August.

This is my second pregnancy and we already have a little girl who will be 2 in March.

Only symptoms so far are a headache most days since the weekend and definitely some fatigue setting in now.

I referred myself at the weekend and I was contacted on Monday with my booking appointment - 9th Dec when I will only be 6+1 weeks! Seems early compared to last time but maybe they're trying to get people seen before Christmas 🤔

We're thinking of telling family at Christmas so contemplating having an early scan a few days before. I didn't have any private scans with my first, so does anybody have any company recommendations?

Moosey898 · 27/11/2024 21:15

Hi everyone - tentatively joining. I've had 3 MMCs and been trying for 4 1/2 years, so have been on these threads a fair bit over time! Don't have any expectations on if this one will work out or not, just trying to take it one day at a time. Because I'm under the care of the recurrent miscarriage clinic I get early scans, they usually do the first one around 7 weeks but if I get that far I'll probably hold off until 8 weeks as 2 of the 3 pregnancies stopped growing by that point, so feels like more of a milestone. Not phoning to book the scan or anything for a while yet though.

Lilypad121 · 27/11/2024 23:44

@Parks17 @DragonflyRuby my pregnancy with my son was absolutely fine despite my endo. The issue for us was just getting pregnant. So hopefully we'll all have smooth pregnancies even with endometriosis 😊🤞

Luisemol23 · 28/11/2024 01:10

Hi can I jump on this thread too!?
Just got my BFP a few hours ago😁 going by my last period I’m due 11th August!
I’m 23 and this will be baby number 2 as I have a DS who will be 2 in April.
Will continue testing so I can see the lines getting darker but I’m pretty excited now🤭
The only reason I tested is because the last two days my boobs have been unbelievably sore and I never had that symptom except when pregnant with my son so I ran to get a test earlier and sure enough there was two lines🥳

LolaJ87 · 28/11/2024 09:13

Welcome to all our newcomers! Congrats to all of you ❤

@Moosey898 sending you all the positive vibes that this pregnancy goes well for you.

On booking visits, it's a different system in Ireland and you have them alongside your first hospital scan.

So far my dates are:

23rd December - Early scan, I should be 8+2
7th January - NIPT (which includes another early scan). I should be 10+3.
21st January - Booking visit and hospital dating scan. I should be 12+3

I think because I'm keeping it quiet I'm having moments where it doesn't feel real yet.

How is everyone else feeling today?

Thank you for this it's really put my mind at ease.

At least we are all in this together!

uselessatnames · 28/11/2024 11:03

Would like to join please! Had a Clearblue show a definite positive yesterday after getting some vvfl on cheap tests a couple days ago, period not due for 4 days yet but assuming all goes well due August 10th!

DragonflyRuby · 28/11/2024 12:16

Hope you find us here @jw24m

DragonflyRuby · 28/11/2024 12:19

Hi all, I hope everyone is doing ok today, I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and feeling good so far. My boobs feel heavy and sore but not too bad and I’ve only had a really low level of nausea- is it bad to want more so it feels more real?!

I had a mc at 5 + 2 before so just really hoping to get safely past that this weekend.

I’m also struggling with work Christmas party which is in 2 weeks. I mentioned driving and it did not go down well so I don’t know how I’ll get round that! Might just do the whole carrying a glass around thing!

LolaJ87 · 28/11/2024 12:44

@DragonflyRuby no, I've been feeling the same, despite having a mild headache on and off most days and swollen, sore boobs. I think it's because we want it so much, it's hard and the worry never really goes away in pregnancy IMO. I remember last time wishing for a little porthole so I could keep an eye on things!

I feel you on the work party, mine isn't until Friday 20th but I have no idea how I'll pull it off. We have a sit down meal with table service so I can't even do the cheeky swaps at the bar thing! Everyone says the antibiotics line is too obvious 😫

OMG this makes me so happy I spent ages searching terms and couldn’t find anything! Thank you sooo much :)

Hey everyone!
found out this week we’re expecting with a due date in August! we’re both 32, expecting baby number one after 4 cycles. It’s been a really awful year for us so this is the best news.

Had awful cramps wake me up at 3am but feel less sick than yesterday so that’s a positive. It’s all super early for us so think its hormone related as to why I felt a bit icky!

sending love to you all :) x

LolaJ87 · 28/11/2024 12:51

@JW24M I remember telling you that you had great lines at 10DPO on the November TTC thread! Congratulations again!

Eeeeee this is so exciting!!! Our EDD is 07/08. I can’t believe it! Also trying to remain calm that it’s still very early yet.
I am so thrilled for you ladies! Ee xx

Newbie1993 · 28/11/2024 15:19

@LolaJ87 Thankyou for replying to my other thread ❤️
congratulations to all the other BFPs! I’m 4+6 today with my second baby, I also have a son who is nearly two.
I struggling to think positively about this pregnancy as I’ve had light bleeding/brown spotting most days starting from ovulation until now. I only had a few days of brown spotting with my other baby but that was before my BFP. The GP won’t send me for a scan until I’m 7 weeks so I’ve got a couple of weeks of driving myself crazy before I can get an answer! Is anyone else going through the same?

Moosey898 · 28/11/2024 17:44

Got spotting today at 5 weeks. Have a horrible sinking feeling it isn't going to work out again 😞
