Hi all I had a early miscarriage a little over two weeks ago! But today I’ve noticed this morning and this evening when I go loo I have white discharge with what looks like blood vains within it! If I’m honestly me and my partner have still been doing the deed as normal but isit to early to become pregnant again? I have not had another period as of yet! Any ideas or could it just be remains of the misscarraige?!?

So sorry for your loss, it is such a horrible thing to go through.

I know I ovulated 2 weeks after my miscarriage, and I think this is quite common and so it could potentially be ECWM, possibly along with the last of the miscarriage. Sounds very normal to me though.

Superscientist · 12/11/2024 15:29

@Kassy91 about 2 weeks after my miscarriage I had egg white discharge with streaks of blood in. I think this was me ovulation for the first time post miscarriage. I got my period 2 weeks later which would track. I didn't get any streaks of blood in subsequent cycles but got the change in discharge.

Ketryne · 13/11/2024 14:04

Hello, I was around at the beginning of this thread and found it a wonderful support, but then disappeared after about 16 weeks when I started to feel I needed to shut out any noise and focus entirely on hope for a normal progression. Just wanted to send an update that it's now my due date, having had 2 miscarriages last year. No signs of labour as yet, but she's a wriggly kicker so I'm feeling her all the time. Still can't fully relax until she's out and in my arms, but it feels like a marathon to have reached this point.

Congratulations to everyone on here who has already had their babies, and my heart goes out to everyone still trying or struggling with anxiety in those early weeks. I have my fingers crossed for all of you.

SnookyPook · 13/11/2024 18:48

@Ketryne lovely to hear your update! All the best for the birth 🥰 Look forward to another update once she's here! X

Hi all, currently 36 weeks, having a sweep at 37 weeks and induction at 38 weeks due to GD. My anxiety through this pregnancy been so bad I feel so ill with anxiety and intrusive thoughts, I've messaged the perimental health team and been ignored, messaged the mental health midwife and been ignored, I'm phoning the dr today to see if they can help. What do you think my chances are of being induced at 37 weeks instead of 38 weeks due to mental health? I don't know if I can carry on much longer

Superscientist · 21/11/2024 09:20

Congratulations on those that have made it too the end! I hope the next few weeks go by quickly and without issues

@Mamaxo I'm sorry you are being ignored. Could you try your gp? If not keep going through the numbers you have. Do you have anyone who could ring on your behalf? MH services are so patchy and sometimes you have to keep on at them.

I had my early scan at the epu yesterday. I should have been 7+3 but measured 6 weeks. There was a heartbeat but it feels like could go either way right now. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in August. I've got my booking appointment today so I'll see how optimistic the midwife is. The epu are doing a repeat scan in 2 weeks

MH is such a hard thing in any time, but can be worse during pregnancy, the fact thay you've come this far is incredible!!

I dont think they will induce you early because of it though, as they see it later you get in pregnancy the harder it is. Your not comfortable, you have a massive bump thats getting in the way of everything, your sleep will be broken. Its ridiculous really but unfortunately they wont see it as a need to induce you quickly.

I had to go upstairs in the hospital yesterday to the neonatal ward, and its just babies that are really poorly where im from at the maternity unit, babies have to be certain ages or weight before they get transferred to the childrens hospital for any further treatment, and honestly going on there and hearing babies cry made my heart sink. They shouldnt be on that ward in the hospital, they should be home with their parents experiencing so much love rather than being hooked up to machines and wires.

It definitely pulled on my heart and i had to leave that ward so quickly. Im not a parent but my god, how do people sgah so strong!!!

Also to add on: ive been SO tired and SO snappy these last couple of weeks its ridiculous, ive done a CB and its come back negative which i told my OH it would as essentially according to flo id only be 5 days pregnant🤣 but hes like theres something going on.
I just cant wake up in a morning, nd im going to start getting emotional with how tired im feeling lately!!! This happened during my second pregnancy, didnt know i was pregnant, kept doing tests they were coming out negative, but i didnt have a period for like 6 weeks after coming off the pill, finally tested one day and it came up as positive!! I couldnt believe it and when i told my manager, i said that makes total sense as to why ive been so tired even after 8/9 hours sleep!

Why is ttc and pregnancy so hard🤣

@Mamaxo I'm sorry you're feeling this way and not being heard, I don't have any advice just want to offer distant support and hugs. Was the Dr more helpful?

@Superscientist how did yesterday's appointment go? Ours was measuring small at 6 and 8 weeks then managed to get all caught up by 12. Remember it's such an incredibly tiny scale their numbers may not be accurate.

@LER2023 I just love your attitude, I hope your crankiness continues and it's for good reason!!

Superscientist · 22/11/2024 11:49

Thanks @Uguberry hopefully there's good growth when they rescan in 2 weeks. The appointment went ok it was a bit odd she started with "it doesn't seem that long since I last saw you" - for the booking appointment of my last pregnancy. I have a hard time with sickness in pregnancy and last time she just said something about at least with pregnancy sickness it goes away if you eat which is not my experience at all! This time she was encouraging me to go to the GP for antiemetics and going in for fluids if I need. She was optimistic about my scan and but I feel more comfortable thinking that both scenarios are possible. I've not made it in to work again the fatigue is awful this time around.

LER2023 · 23/11/2024 11:10

Fianlly got my appointment through this morning for RMC!!! 14th of January🙃

Im here like this could be it.. could be pregnant BAM appointment🤣🤣

Just my luck really!!

We've spoke about getting fish.. i treat my squirrels as babies and theyre in the wild. I dont know how im going to be with fish😅

@Uguberry got to maintain some sort of attitude through all this, had my 3rd miscarriage on 3rd of April and got referred that same day.

Think im just like what will be.. will be but really im just like i hate everyone and everything and im tired and im cranky🤣🤣🤣

@LER2023 great your appointment has come through. How are you doing now? Still testing negative? X

@Superscientist how are you doing? When is your next scan?

@Mamaxo how are you doing? Sorry your MH support has been rubbish. You must be getting close to 38wks now? Sending hugs. You've got this 💗

Im alright just worried over these appointments now lmao
Im just scared theyre either going to say 'theres nothing wrong' or theyre going to say 'theres a problem with you' sort of thing, i'll be nearly 30 by the time i have my first and that scares me really.
Honestly still testing negative, think ive forgotten how they look when theyre positive🤣 its never taken so long for us to fall pregnant!
It may be that both of our heads arent in the right place to be able to get pregnant, with christmas coming too, i know we said we arent thinking about getting pregnant but in my mind im saying to myself i want to have our first baby soon enough. Our first born would have been 16 months old now if our first one went to full term and i think that hurts a little bit, because it would have been wanted and so loved, but its about thinking of our actual child we will have at some stage! Thank you for asking. How are you? X

@SnookyPook I'm 37 weeks, having a sweep tomorrow and hoping a induction asap due to gestational diabetes (I'm on high insulin) and mental health it's just weither they'll make me a priority for induction or make me wait 😩 I've had no support still I'm just trying to get through a day at the time. How are you? Xx

Superscientist · 27/11/2024 13:53

@SnookyPook
I'm struggling with fatigue and sickness. I've been signed off work for 4 weeks and started on 2 antiemetics this week.
The scan is next Thursday and my dating scan has come through for the 23rd Dec 🤞

How are you doing?

Moosey898 · 27/11/2024 19:33

Anxiously joining..... again. 5 weeks tomorrow.

3 MMCs, 4.5 years total time trying (plus a gap in the middle of around 3 years), no kids. I have no expectations of this pregnancy working out but trying to stay level headed as it might work, you never know.

Wondering how everyone approaching their due dates is feeling?

I am 33 weeks now and had been feeling relatively calm since my 30 week scan went ok, but starting to have more anxious thoughts now about things going wrong during delivery.

Terrified! Massive uptick in anxiety at 35 weeks. It's my first so it's all unknown. I've just been discharged from hospital for high blood pressure for the second time in pregnancy so have just accepted the recommendation for an induction at 38 weeks.

Thanks @Orlahoping - never know, might work this time! ❤️ Hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful and you have a smooth birth xx

EmptyDumpty · 28/11/2024 15:11

Can I tentatively join the thread?

Got a positive test a couple of days ago, which is great ... But had a MMC a few months back that was a hugely drawn out and unpleasant process to resolve.

Have a 2yo already, who I am hugely grateful for and who was a very straightforward conception/pregnancy, but have been TTC a second child for about 9 months now.

Really pleased to be pregnant again, but feeling quite anxious as the MMC was very unexpected and pretty grim!

Moosey898 · 28/11/2024 17:45

Starting spotting already at 5 weeks. Got a horrible sinking feeling it's not going to work out, again 😔

Mamaxo · 28/11/2024 20:58

@whenthelevee I'm 37 weeks had a sweep today and induction tomorrow, never been so anxious and down tbh its gotten worse the closer my due date has come but I have been diagnosed with prenatal anxiety. I hope your ok xx

whenthelevee · 28/11/2024 21:37

@Orlahoping @mamaxo sorry to you have been feeling more anxious... hang in there!

@orlahoping hopefully the early induction means you don't have too long to wait - although I appreciate any amount of time feels like an age.

@mamaxo sounds really tough, hope you have people who can support you.

I've been trying out some positive birth affirmations, and also relaxation routines, which do seem to help.

Orlahoping · 28/11/2024 21:39

Thanks @whenthelevee. We'll all just keep on keeping on! I am spending a lot of time in the bath and rewatching comforting TV shows...

@Mamaxo best of luck with the induction tomorrow. Sending all the love

@Moosey898 Aaah hello my love! Everything crossed for you. Just seen your post about spotting - really hope all is ok. I had several bleeds with my pregnancy and feared the worst each time, yet it was ok. So it can be nothing 💕🙏🏼
