I have just found out I am expecting baby number 2 and my due date is 1st May.

Has anyone else found out they are expecting and looking for some company?

@BrodieKD yeah I think they have more stuff in that's helpful, but folic acid is the main one! So good you're taking that already xx

Anyone already getting the symptoms?
I had sickness from 5 weeks with my daughter and awful headaches early on
Today I woke up with the worst headache and feel like I'm going to throw up!

@rebecca199 I'll get organised once I am home. I haven't had any symptoms yet 😳 I think it was between 6/7 weeks that I started to feel sick with my first pregnancy. My boobs and nips feel big and sore though. Can you take anything for your headaches? Do you work? I have no idea how I am going to juggle symptoms at work as I was pregnant in lockdown last time so I could WFH or the office was super quiet.

That's me 5 weeks today. What dates everyone's booking in apts and scans? X

@rebecca199 I haven't been getting many symptoms yet. Though I'm only 4+5 so I'm sure it will kick in soon. Though last time I was already feeling nauseous by now. I've been feeling a little tired and just like I don't want to eat anything so far.

@BrodieKD I’m 5 weeks today too. I hadn’t even thought about sorting my booking in appointment, I was going to wait until I was 6/7 weeks in case I start bleeding and I don’t think my trust will see you until you’re at least 8 weeks anyway!

Im not booking any private scans so a long wait for me until the first scan.

@BrodieKD sorry I just realised I sounded really negative then, I didn’t mean to! I had a chemical in May where I started bleeding at just over 5 weeks so just being a bit cautious, I’ve not even told DH yet so it’s nice to be in this group and talk about it!

I'm heading to EPU today as spoke to doctors today and big concerns for ectopic, I'm so scared

I have pain on my right side, spotting again today and tests taking a while to progress

Please can everyone keep fingers crossed for me xxx

With my trust, you can't submit your referral until 6 weeks so I'm just playing a waiting game!

That was so stressful. Had blood work done, and then a scan and the sonographer told me it was ectopic. I was put in a room to cry alone while I waited for a doctor, for the doctor to tell me actually they don't think it is.
Repeat bloods in 2 days to see what happens to HCG.
3 possibilities - it was too early to see it, misscarriage, or ectopic
Just a waiting game and praying for the best outcome

@rebecca199 oh how absolutely awful!! Have they given you any support or medication in the mean time? I really hope after such a terrible experience you get some good news after the second blood draw!

@rebecca199 I'm so sorry you went through that! The sonographer should not have said that to you, they can only say they can't see the pregnancy, which could be for several reasons as the doctor said. I am really hoping it is still just too early to see anything 🤞🏻and please do not apologise, these threads are here for support xx

No medication or support just a leaflet...
Trying to stay positive for next blood draw but also don't want to get my hopes up! We shall see xx

I have an update ladies and unfortunately it's not good news, my blood work from earlier came back and my progesterone is only at a 2 so they've said I'll miscarry soon.
Awful blunt delivery of the news I can't believe the care I have recieved today
