Anyone else due January 2025?

I’m coming up to 16 weeks with my second. This time seems to be flying by as life is much busier with a nearly 2 year old!

Luckily, felt pretty much fine the whole way through so far, albeit being tired. However, I was diagnosed with GD and currently diet controlled, which is bit of a bummer.

How are you feeling?

That one has reached the 1000 reply cap and couldn’t see a second thread?

Sadly, looks like Jan due date is quite quiet on here!

Hi @Firsttimetrier
I'm due in January. My very first baby! ☺️ I'm 15+3 today.
How's your pregnancy going?

Carla90210 · 24/07/2024 15:12

Hi,
I hope everyone is getting on well!
My girlfriend and I are due 4th Jan and would love to join the WhatsApp group. When I click on the link in the previous chat it says the link has been updated. Can someone share a new link?
Also, any other same sex couples on here due January? Xxx

ttcnumero1 · 24/07/2024 15:17

Due Jan. 15+1 currently. Been quite sick. On Cariban since week 8 - life saver and not ready to quit it yet!

ChirpyTurtle · 24/07/2024 15:22

Did you find a Part 2 thread @Firsttimetrier ?

I’m due in Jan 2025 with my first and was also hoping to join!

Lisa862306 · 24/07/2024 18:58

Due January 2025. Currently 15+2. Only found out we were expecting a couple of weeks ago.

MyPinkViper · 25/07/2024 21:07

Has anyone started feeling any movements yet? I'm 16+2 and am trying not to get my hopes up, I hear that you often can't feel your first baby until around 18-20 weeks.

Firsttimetrier · 26/07/2024 07:34

@Fluffyted congratulations! I’m 16+3 with my second and so far going quite well. Very different to my first pregnancy where I was so nauseous and sick until roughly this time, however, I’ve had very little sickness this time
round!

@ChirpyTurtle haven’t found a second thread but guessing everyone migrated over to the WhatsApp group.
With my first pregnancy, we had a WhatsApp and Facebook group but still kept on here as well, for those who didn’t want to join either of those but could keep up to date on here. Hopefully the same can happen this time 🤞🏽

@MyPinkViper not quite sure if I’m feeling movements atm, but this is my second! I think with my first it was a bit later on, around 19 weeks and it felt like a butterfly fluttering. My first was very active and I had quite big movements towards the end that would make be feel quite sick as he would stick his legs out etc! Was incredible though!

Hi everyone
15 weeks today with #1.
1st trimester just tired but no other symptoms really. Now I've hit 2nd and I'm really struggling with lightheaded/dizziness and headaches. Wondering if this is normal? Can't get hold of midwife any time I call :( xx

Brewers22 · 26/07/2024 18:33

Hiya! I am 16 weeks and 4 days :) due at the beginning of January. First pregnancy and luckily I haven’t had many symptoms apart from very hormonal! I have been very anxious though which hasn’t helped. Would love to join a WhatsApp group if there is one being created or is already one!

BeLemonQuoter · 31/07/2024 07:31

Hi everyone, I am 16 week today and anxious too. First pregnancy.

I don't think I felt movements or if I did it o thought it is probably just bowel movements.

About anxiety. I got panicked yesterday about a bit of discharge, so I ended up at the EPU to test for ammiotic fluid leaks. Luckily everything seemed fine.

I was on the first due jan 2025 topic too, but i didn't want to join the WhatsApp/Facebook group. Could this topic be renamed part 2?

Congratulations! Glad everything went okay with EPU!

I don’t think I’m able to rename the thread? But if there is a way, do let me know and I’ll rename to part 2! Hopefully there’s enough of us to fill this up and the next one can be named properly.

Just had my 16 week midwife appointment (currently 17 weeks though) and so surprised I won’t have another midwife appointment until 28 weeks as it’s my second!

Hi everyone! congratulation’s to you all.

May I join? I’m so pleased to see this thread is active. I had looked on the original January thread and seen it was full. I’m due 5th January and only found out 4 weeks ago . I was already 14 weeks and 3 days by the time I had my first scan so couldn’t do the combined test . This is baby No 4 and a complete shock - I was on the pill but had been very ill with a bug for a good few days . I’m 38 , I have a 15yo , 11yo and 14 month old! Only my DH, DC, best friend and my work know . I’ve not told any other family or friends and I really couldn’t think of anything worse . Before I knew I was pregnant and had been feeling ill , my mum had made some comments like “you better not be pregnant again “ it’s actually quite sad I’m 38 and absolutely terrified of my mum. Hope you are all well

Oh wow! Must have been a shock to find out at 14 weeks? This happened to my friend and she had no idea!

I’m due the day before you, but I really think I’ll end up with a Christmas or NYE baby as my first was 2 weeks early!

Has anyone started to feel any movement? I know it's different for everyone but I'm hoping to feel movement soon 🙂

Yes it was a massive shock! still hasn’t fully sunk in .

aww how lovely - yes very possible especially if you were early with your first . I was 12 days late with my first and one day overdue with my second. I was induced at 38 weeks with my 14 month old due to high blood pressure and it still seems a concern with this pregnancy. I have to be monitored weekly and consultant said it’s likely I won’t go past 37/38 weeks ,so quite possibly a Christmas baby for me too ! Will see what happens . How are your symptoms? I was so ill last pregnancy with my daughter but with the exception of high blood pressure I feel completely fine this time to the point I forget im pregnant!

@92Char I have just started to feel waves/flutterings . I thought I would feel more as it’s my 4th .

Noodles4Me · 01/08/2024 08:26

Hello all. I’m technically due 4th Jan but section booked for 23rd December due to age (43) second baby and a complicated miscarriage last year - and this one was IVF. All “risks” 👀

It’s been full of anxiety and think always will be. All extra testing has been good though. I have a posterior placenta this time so have felt little movements for a while. I’m having my second boy. 💙

Hope this is a fairly active group. I joined a MN group with my first baby and that was really helpful.

Same with the symptoms! I was SO sick with my little boy until roughly 16 weeks. Was so exhausted with that pregnancy that I was pretty much asleep the whole first trimester. This time, I also forget I’m pregnant, although I’ve been diagnosed with GD already.

I think I’m having a girl if I go off the differences in pregnancy symptoms, but will find out in 3 weeks time!

Can’t believe how quickly it’s going already.

Welcome and congratulations @Noodles4Me. sounds like you’ve had a tough start but hope the pregnancy eases from now on!

I’m also having my second and I think I’m having some movement, feels like little flutters but not completely sure!

Thanks @Firsttimetrier I will have a look. Still deciding if I want to join the WhatsApp!

I’m due at the end of Jan with my first (14w just now). Feeling a mix of nervous and excited but definitely much calmer since the 12w scan. I think a bit early for me to feel anything @92Char and @MyPinkViper but hopefully won’t be too long 😊are you feeling anything? I've hardly had any symptoms so hoping it’ll feel a bit more real when I start getting flutters!

Hope you’re all keeping ok, did you manage to get hold of your midwife @Pips87 ?

92Char · 02/08/2024 13:57

I'm 17 weeks now and found out I am having a girl. It is starting to feel more real now.

Have been feeling a bit dizzy when I walk in recent days. I am usually a fast walked so not used to slowing down!

Mama2b99 · 02/08/2024 16:17

Hey how did you find out?
Private? As I know NHS only offer gender scan at 20 weeks.

Yes private scan. Same here in Ireland they only tell at the 20 week scan in hospital.

Week 15+4 today and this is my first child in UK. Would like to know if the coming antenatal appointments will check on baby's heartbeat by the Doppler?
