Still no period, still BFN, still huge bellied, tried to get a doctors appointment this morning, but they were fully booked apparently, all the receptionist could offer was for me to take DS1 (inset day tomorrow) and DS2 to the surgery doorstep tomorrow morning at 8am, and the doctor might see me if he feels like it.

There is no way I can get there for 8am tomorrow, (I don't drive, buses don't start till 7.30, then I'd have to get from town to the doctors, at DS1's pace, I'd be pushing it to get there for 8.15) and there is no saying that I'll get a 'normal appointment for tomorrow judging by today's fiasco.

I am really sorry to start yet another thread about this, I feel like such a bloody drama queen, but I really don't know what to do.

Thanks Jodie I did have light bleeds with both of my healthy pregnancies, and they are both fine, too fine maybe!!

I keep checking my knickers every 5 minutes expecting to see blood but nothing so far....

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 12:45

Even a faint BFP is a BFP, my faint BFP is sat in his highchair smooching yoghurt all over him, the highchair, my wall I don't give a shit either!! LOL

YAY!!!!!!!

So I can get excited?

calsworld · 04/04/2008 12:51

NJ - glad things are beginning to move in the right direction, it has been going on too long!

Very concerned at totally crap service you've been receiving but relieved that you have now seen nice doctor. Hope she rings soon.

I'm out a bit over the weekend but will be checking up on you, here and on TTC!

If I could be there you'd have a huge big hug from me.

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 12:54

Yes Kay, get excited!!! I am excited for you!!

Thanks Cal I don't think she will ring now before the re-open after munch at 2.30

I honestly look like a cheshire cat!

I have just had a thought. I treated myself to a funky, groovy chair on Thurs cos of BFN, now whats my excuse for the chair??

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 13:04

You need funky groovy good back support?

Ermmmm.... does it have wheels on? Will it be good for getting from living room to fridge for cold pickled onions with marmite and soy sauce? Think of all the up and downess you will save

kayzisexpecting · 04/04/2008 13:08

No its a Moon chair. Its so comfy!!

Ds has a matching one but his is blue not pink and a lot smaller.

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 13:11

Oh well in that case it will be a good place for you to sit in yours, DS(1!!!!!) in his, for you to explain a little about the baby growing in your belly, and how he is going to be the bestest big borther ever (can you tell I have been here before?!!)

OP posts:
kayzisexpecting · 04/04/2008 13:19

Yeah. I'm hoping he'll be ok.
Its about the same age gap between dh and his sister and he was great with her and rocked her to sleep so fingers crossed. Plus DS loves babies even in magazines.

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 13:34

He'll be fine, just make as much fuss of him now, and make the most of the time you have left with just him, as long as once the baby is here he still feels as loved and as much of a part of the family as he does now, he will be fine.

NJ sorry to gatecrash but I am so hopeful for you guys (I can't ttc as no boyfriend) and just wanted to say I had brown discharge before my bfp last time, it was implantation...good luck babe x

kayzisexpecting · 04/04/2008 13:37

I will make lots of fuss of him. I'll buy him some toys from the new baby.

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 13:38

Thanks Flight I am hoping beyond hope that that is what this is, but think hoping isn't going to do much!

No phone call yet?

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 13:56

Nope, they close for lunch at 12.30-2.30 so not expecting a call now till at least 2.30, still no harm on keeping an eye on the phone is there? It might ring!

Still no more blood or discharge, am wondering now if I even need to speak to her, surely it is just from her having a dig about?

OP posts:
JodieG1 · 04/04/2008 14:31

Def speak with her, she might suggest a scan or you could request one, especially as you didn't have one after Jan.

serendippity · 04/04/2008 14:34

best of luck NJ- been watching this thread with fingers crossed!

LuckySalem · 04/04/2008 14:37

oh nat!! it's on my watch list now! will keep my fingers crossed for you!

NatalieJane · 04/04/2008 14:39

OK, she rang back, she agrees that it is likely to be the result of the internal, so still no answers but it is looking good no? The late period, the blue tinge? It can't be bad, can it?
