After the lovely Hopingrae had created such a wonderful thread.

I wanted to carry this on, as many more women need that added extra support.

Hope everyone can find some support on this thread x

Pregnancy after loss support | Mumsnet

Hi ladies, I've recently found out I'm pregnant again after 2 losses in a row. I'm very lucky to have a DS and I had another MC before I had him. So 3...

Room for one more? I was here back in may but I had a chemical pregnancy.

Did a test this morning at 10dpo at I've have weird spotting all though this cycle and finally got my vfl this morning. So excited and nervous.

I have 3 girls already. I had an mmc in march at just under 12 weeks and a chemical at 6 weeks in june so being very cautious at the moment.

Hopefully I have my very sticky bean with all the implantation spotting I've had. I have never had implantation spotting before.

Looking forward to chatting to you all although there's a few on here I'm already familiar with 🥰🥰

Hi ladies, hope I can join. I just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant. I'm 11dpo today. I'm absolutely delighted but terrified. I lost my identical twin sons 9 months ago at birth. My first baby was stillborn and his brother died on our arms 4 days later.

I'm so anxious, it's crazy and now I'm worrying about my test. I'm 11dpo. Period was due today and I scared that my test is too light. Any thoughts.

Lovely to meet you all on your journey.

Welcome @DonnaWhat and @Ella31 ! So happy to see you here. Hopefully more from our TTC after loss thread will join us soon.

@Ella31 how come you're 11 dpo but period is due today? Your luteal phase isn't usually 14 days?

All going well 22nd April 2025🥹🥹🥹

MisssMarion · 13/08/2024 12:01

@DonnaWhat it feels surreal to even talk about it... based on last period, 17 April 2025, but might be before based on when I think I ovulated.

DonnaWhat · 13/08/2024 12:17

27th April for me all being well 🥰🥰

Orlahoping · 13/08/2024 12:57

Welcome @DonnaWhat, @MisssMarion and @Ella31. I remember you all from various threads.

And @Ella31 you were especially kind in my initial days after my loss in January.

The first few weeks for me were so utterly fraught with worry. It let up for a little but but I am now again terrified there won't be a heartbeat at the 20 week scan. I'm a mess! 2 days to go...

Hope everyone else is doing well. I lost the device I had access to Mumsnet on so I've missed a few days...

DonnaWhat · 13/08/2024 13:09

@Ella31 has really been a beacon of strength to us all on our other thread. She's an absolute treasure x

It's unbelievable and it's been rough (had a major car crash and then a very scary bleed in first trimester), but I am so grateful to be this far.

Thank you. I'm a little nervous as my test seems light and I'm 11dpo. Digital is positive though

@Traitors2024 thanks so much. Yes it is watery and yellowy I guess and a bit greasy. Wore a pad and was reassured to find it was coming from right up front and nowhere near the hole in question (forgive the crudeness....)

So sorry you have PPROM. Had it with my son. Glad to hear it may have resealed - please do go back to drs with any concerns!

Mine told me thrush is no 1 cause...

How did they detect your PPROM? With my son it wasn't detected until a growth scan picked up it had all gone :( so I'm interested in how they diagnose..

Oh, that's the same as mine looked at 18DPO, so I wouldn't worry. I had 48 hour HCG tests once I got the positive and it was flying.

Ugh, the whole story is upthread somewhere but I had major bleeding and clots from 21weeks, I was about to be discharged from hospital at 21+5 when the consistency of the blood changed so they did a speculum and doc saw waters coming out - I've only had 1 instance of waters without bleeding and scans all show plenty fluid but I've been an inpatient and hostage (joke) in a city 3hrs from home to be close to level 3 NICU until now as my hosp can't deal with premies of less than 28wks gestation - fingers crossed for getting home tomorrow still pregnant!!

Sorry I'm not up to date with the thread so if I'm missing over stuff i apologise I hope everyone is good, I'm struggling massively. Nearly 22 weeks and think I've got prenatal depression, I've upped my antidepressants but most days I just want to pack a bag and run away. I'm on the floor struggling and nobody's taking me serious, and I don't really have a midwife. I didn't go through this with my daughter, anyone else been through this? Any advice please x

Orlahoping · 13/08/2024 16:10

@Mamaxo so sorry to hear. I know how rough it is. It took me a while - but I eventually got taken on by perinatal mental health. Not sure how that will go yet, as I have my first appointment on Thursday. Can you try to get a referral? My midwife said if things got really bad I could even ring my MAU in the meantime.

Sending love, it's so awful and I wish I could stay something to make it better.

DonnaWhat · 13/08/2024 17:47

@MisssMarion @Ella31 I caved and got a digital 🥰🥰🥰

I've no experience of this but I'm so sorry this is happening to you. The perinatal team should be taking this seriously.

@DonnaWhat what a beautiful word! 💕 Xx

Onthedouble123 · 13/08/2024 18:50

Hi everyone. I've also hopped over from @Ella31 's amazing thread. She's a bloody hero on these boards.
I'm 11+1 I think and due my dating scan next week.
Had a loss last November. Then a rocky start to this pregnancy which began with a seemingly normal period bleed 3 days after my first positive so I've been quite detached really- not wanting to get my hopes up but just being grateful for each day as it comes. Had two scans at the IVF clinic (though actually fell naturally right at the beginning of treatment) so hoping all still going okay in there 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I know symptoms are not a guarantee but I'm feeling pretty rough so hoping that's a good sign. Xx
