@rukky I'm 32 weeks with my 4th, my 3rd was my loss at 16 weeks.
it differs baby to baby and can depend on placenta placement.
1st baby - anterior placenta, never got proper kicks until a few weeks before she was born. I just got rolls and swishes, occasionally a tickle inside sensation. Very hard to record/track movement and I often ended up in maternity triage getting monitored. In the end I was induced for movement at 37 odd weeks.**
2nd baby - low posterior placenta, could feel movement from mid second trimester and the kicks were enough to kick off the cups I used to balance on bump by 3rd trimester. There was no pattern to the movement though so I just had to pay attention to bump all the time to track it and had a app on my phone that had a button on my home screen I could push any time I felt a movement. At the end of the day I could review it all. Again, ended up at maternity but only once or twice this time when the app showed movement was less that day. The app would also buzz if no movement recorded in a hour during wake hours.
3rd baby - posterior placenta, swishes and rolls felt very gently from around 13 weeks. Again no pattern to them just random so I had to pay attention to them. Midwife asked at 16 week appointment if I felt any and I said yes but not much recently... she followed up with "it's too early to track them anyway". Baby was discovered to have passed 3 days later at a private scan.
4th - anterior high placenta, and this baby has been a gymnast since about 18 weeks. I had rolls and a bubble like sensation from around 8 weeks, really low in my pelvis like bubbles popping. Since about 30 weeks my whole bump moves and I get random lumps sticking out of me and moving around. Can't miss the movement with this one plus I have triggers this time round so I know baby always moves when I sit reclined back with my feet up, or when I lie on my right side...baby especially likes when I drink cold fizzy juice.
** Baby 1 - born assisted in distress with cord round neck twice and round body (which was why she was bouncing up and down, not actually managing to exit with my pushes) , likely to have been the cause of restricted movement at the end. It was so hard for me to monitor her movement because of the placenta and I think the issue would have been discovered earlier if movements were more obvious.
I hope this helps show all babies are different and there are so many factors to consider. Anything different for your baby I would get checked - sometimes babies just have a quiet day, don't we all, but sometimes it can show a issue.
