Hope you’re doing ok @Lillers ? I’m so sorry you’ve been though all that in the last day/2. ❤️
also gals, wanted to take this opportunity to remind you to check your life insurance/critical care policies. I did mine when I was pregnant with my second in 2021, but basically, most policies only insure your baby from 30 days old meaning you miss out on potential cover for things like neonatal stays or any diagnosed conditions at birth. So check and see if you can “upgrade” it so that your baby is covered from 20 weeks in utero.
only reason I mention it is because I randomly thought of it the other day and contacted my insurance broker to check it still applied for this pregnancy, and she confirmed it did. Meaning this baby is covered for a few things now that I’m over 20 weeks pregnant.
If you don’t have anything like this, I highly recommend Karla from “The Protection Parent” through her website or socials, and she’ll find you cover that suits you and present you with some options. It’s free to use her and you don’t even have to go ahead with any of the policies she finds. We pay £40 each per month for life insurance and critical care cover (upgraded), and that includes £3 a month for “global treatment”. Which means if we or our kids get diagnosed with cancer, and the treatment isn’t available in the UK, we’d be able to travel abroad to get the treatment and have it paid for plus travel expenses. It saves you having to set up a gofundme for you or your kids get diagnosed with cancer and need to leave the country to get the appropriate treatment.
Just sharing so you can make sure you and your sweet babies are safe and covered! 🥺❤️❤️
