Seems we got to the end of a thread. Not sure if a new one has been set up.

Gosh, I'm feeling horrendous, I think I've got tonsillitis, can't stop throwing up and my throat is in absolute agony. I contemplated calling OOHs but there are no chemsists open past 11pm so that would be pointless. I just hope I get through to the GP tomorrow morning. Had 6 ice lollies today, i tried to eat something for tea but was just sick. Really hoping I can get some antibiotics tomorrow.

Is anybody else having pain kind of in their hip/groin area? I think the pain is lower than where the baby would be (it's close to where my leg begins and off centre to the left) but I've had it for about 12 hours now and usually my muscle pain has moved around more than staying in one set place.

How do we make a new thread I think they run out much sooner than 1000 messages and don't want anyone to get lost ..

@IsLarryFromSomething sounds like it could be round ligament pain. I can pain there if I cough or sneeze, but not constant.

I'm going to be telling my boss tonight, but not work officially until my 12weeks scan. Just waiting for that date to come through. 3+weeks feels too long for me to not be able to say no to lifting things without an reasonable excuse.
Fortunately, in a sense, that I've been off ill for a couple of days this week with a major migraine. I havnt had 1 that's lasted more than a day for about 2 years and that 1 lasted 13weeks! It's still kinda of there this morning but think I should go in for my shift this afternoon. Hasn't helped that I've been so tired and nauseous too.

@mrssunshinexxx I will make a new thread now if you want so people can just hold place holders I will add the name of the new thread once done but lets try to remember to use this thread until its full :)

@WickWood Sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly - I hope you can get something to help today.

Is anybody else obsessively standind in front of the mirror looking at themselves side-on every day to try and work out if they can see a bump coming up? I'm 11+2 today and read that around now is when I might start to notice something, but my lower belly has always been the first place I gain fat so every time I look I can't work out if it's the beginnings of a baby bump or just a sign of all the extra carbs I've been eating. 😂

Hahah! Me @CluelessInLondon! I'm quite petite and when I put any weight it's really obvious. I definitely have a gut. Baby or food? The jury is still out lol!

I'm wearing maternity jeans, tights and baggy jumpers. I give up trying to squeeze into my normal jeans. See no point in being uncomfortable.

I had a spot of blood when i wiped on Weds eve. Faint light red. I was convinced it would go like my last chemical but there hasn't been any blood since. Still feeling super worried something has gone wrong and booked in for a private scan today. I should be around 10 weeks. Has anyone else had similar at 10 weeks? 😕

@CluelessInLondon I am obsessed with checking for any signs of a bump and have been doing this since 4 weeks! My family are sick of me already😂 I was so bloated weeks 4 - 5, my stomach was huge all over and solid which isn't like me at all (I never really bloat). Since then the all over bloating has gone down but now under my belly button area sticks out a lot and is solid, rounded and can't be sucked in so I'm telling myself it's the start of a bump even though I know it's probably bloating, very delusional I know😂

@WickWood did you manage to get a GP appointment?

@CluelessInLondon @SELE97 Thanks both. I saw a paramedic this morning at my GP, she said it's viral, Googled to check what she could prescribe and then said to go to the chemist because they'd know what is safe in pregnancy. I told her I was really struggling, being sick an awful lot, have a history of tonsillitis etc. She said my tonsils are swollen and my heart is fast (I was being sick just before the appointment) I then went to the chemist, they said given my history and the fact this has been going on for quite a while he's inclined to believe its bacterial and to go back soon if I'm not better. He gave me a difflam spray and I was told to take paracetamol. Feeling really fed up. I've only managed ice lollies the past 2-3 days, any food I'm having I'm throwing up. I didn't get any sleep last night whatsoever, just constantly coughing and struggling to catch my breath. Hopefully I'll feel better next week!

@WickWood that's awful. I hope the medication kicks in and you start to feel better soon.

@CluelessInLondon I heard12-14 weeks is when a little bump starts to be visible so you've not got long. I'm so bloated I look about 5 months - by 8pm it looks like I've been inflated lol. I'm on progesterone which I think is the cause.

I went and had a scan today after the brown discharge on wiping and they can't see any reason for it baby has a lovely heart beat and is growing beautifully and measuring bang on at 11+2 💖

@Shootystealy Good luck for your scan - there could be lots of things causing a bit of spotting and sometimes there's no obvious reason. If it's not much then try not to worry - easier said than done, I know. ❤

Bit weird, but is anyone else sweating like mad ? I am just so hot!

Have just told my work colleagues after I overheard them speculating whether I was just fat or pregnant.

1 week till 12 week scan !

Got my scan through for 13+2 feels like a lifetime away but in reality it's next month and a day before my mums anniversary so hopefully we get perfect news

I've gotten anxious about things again, not that I should be as I've had nothing to be concerned about. But I've booked another scan for next week, where I'll be 10+1. Havnt got my 12week scan date through yet.

Sorry? Your work colleagues were talking about you in earshot speculating if you had put on weight? I hope you know them very well and they somehow knew you were pregnant.

@spudnik1 I hope your work colleagues are people you have a close relationship with, I would be furious if I heard anybody at my work talking about me gaining weight (whether I was pregnant or not!).

That's awful that they said that. I hope you're okay!
