Seems we got to the end of a thread. Not sure if a new one has been set up.

I was just looking to see if another had been made.

Thank you for creating x

Thanks for the new thread.

How’s everyone’s sleeping pattern atm??

Thanks for the new thread.

All over the place! Tired but can't sleep, then can't wake up. Not ideal.
thanks for the new thread, couldn't work out why I couldn't reply on the old one 🤦‍♀️

I agree time is dragging. 2.5 weeks to private scan, 4 weeks to booking.

i think someone asked about private NIPT on the old thread. I'm probably going to book one at just over 10 weeks (providing scan at 8+1 is ok). Mostly as that's when I've got some time off and don't need to get childcare.

Hope everyone is doing OK x

Nic2908 · 20/02/2024 23:08

Oh good I am glad, I couldn’t see one.

@CDD my sleep patterns alright I just can’t get enough of it I’m exhausted. Defo having the hormonal vivid dreams though that’s for sure.

CDD · 21/02/2024 01:10

@Nic2908 @mouldygrapes Mine has been brilliant the last few weeks been asleep before 10pm and not waking until 7-8am. But the last few days I cannot sleep up all hours and still awake for 7am so needing a nap in the day.
I have also been dreaming which is something I don’t remember doing as much before becoming pregnant. My dreams are also based on or around fish (or other sea animals) and yes you read that correct fish ever so random.

Has anyone got their NHS dating scan? If so how long after registering with midwife did you get it?
Thanks

Oct24 · 21/02/2024 01:14

@CDD The dreams are wild and so vivid!! It's a full blown feature film! Last night my Aunt and Uncle bought a house and then flattened and landscaped the backyard. I can remember even the most intricate detail like the retaining wall height and what tiles they picked for the pool. I gave my brother a tour of the backyard. I was guttered when I was woken up by my 2yr old human alarm. I was just about to go swimming in the new pool!!

Good and bad🫠 i can easily sleep from 830, but i dont want tobwake up for work in a morning, if i wasnt at work id probably be napping every day. I feel exhausted 24/7 but i seem to be sleeping really well? Maybe wake up once in the night which is good for me! Cant het rid of this exhausted feeling!!

Hello ladies,
I found out on Saturday that I'm pregnant. Bit of a shock to say the least as I already have young adults and children! I wasn't ever expecting to find myself here again.
I'm only 3+6 so I just about squeeze in here, being due on the 31st!
I tested so early because I just knew I was +. The crying at FB ads, sore boobs, mood swings and dreams that I was pregnant gave it away 😂
I suppose I'm now going to be classed as a geriatric mum. There is so much to worry about being pregnant at my age when you start googling. Think I'll stay away from that for now.
I won't be telling anyone in rl for quite some time so thought I'd come back to MN. Haven't been here for about 12 years!
I hope you're all feeling well, here's to the next 9 months! 🥳

Hi. Do you mind me asking how old you are? I'm all over the place with emotions and feel like my anxiety has been so bad. Feeling low too. I'm 5+3 and 41yrs old with a 3yr old. This is a huge shock to me and I have the most amazing DH but I can't seem to shift this fog that's over me. Tried to read quotes this morning to try and snap me out of this feeling. Wish I could feel happy. I miss feeling like me.

Mitsky · 21/02/2024 10:58

I guess I tentatively join this group, three miscarriages and hoping this one sticks with some medical intervention but in theory I’m due at the end of Oct.

AppleTree16 · 21/02/2024 11:09

I wondered where you’d all gone!
nausea is really bad for me this week 😭

LuxeBiscuit · 21/02/2024 11:28

Thanks for setting up a new thread.

Not to bring the mood down and sorry if it's TMI but I had some pink CM this morning. There doesn't seem to be any more at the moment so I'll wait and see.

I had the most vivid dream last night as well, which only started in the last two weeks so I'm hoping for the best.

Same! And I can basically only stomach beige food. I feel like I'm not giving the baby any nutrients but can't manage fresh fruit and veg atm which is normally a big part of my diet! Feeling guilty.

I'll be 43 by the time I'm due. I have really bad anxiety normally, have been signed off for the last 4 months with it. But weirdly right now I have a strange sense of calm. Maybe I'm just in denial 👀
I'm sorry you're feeling so low, it could be all the hormones too, hopefully you'll be back to feeling more like yourself soon x

Oct24 · 21/02/2024 11:45

@AnxiousD I'm a little younger than you but also extremely anxious. Google is not my friend and I should know better!

I'm going to call my dr to book an appointment to get some meds for my nausea also ask for a scan. I just need to see that little heartbeat again to calm my nerves. The not knowing what's going on in there is killing me.

HotCrossBunnyInTheOven · 21/02/2024 11:47

Mitsky - I really hope everything goes well for you, sending positive thoughts your way 🤗

LuxeBiscuit - I had this with a few of mine, it seems pretty common although such a worry nonetheless. I hope all is well x

I'm yet to have any sickness. Instead I have boobs that I cannot even bare to put a quilt over, a headache every day for the last 5 days and the worst insomnia ever!

I think the first 12 weeks are definitely the worst in terms of worry and symptoms. Roll on May!

CluelessInLondon · 21/02/2024 12:00

Thanks for the new thread!

@CDD I'm finding I'm tired earlier than normal in the evenings (usually falling asleep on the sofa by 10!), getting to sleep fine but then waking up earlier than I need to and not being able to get back to sleep. Think you asked about dating scans as well - mine is on 23rd March, I think I got the letter for it a week or so after my booking appointment was confirmed.

@HotCrossBunnyInTheOven @Mitsky Welcome and congratulations to both of you. 😊@Mitsky There were quite a few people on the first thread who had previous losses (me included) so there's lots of support for people who are feeling anxious about their new pregnancies.

@LuxeBiscuit I hope everything is okay and try not to worry too much - could just be a little bit of irritation or something.

Apologies in advance for a bit of TMI - I've been working myself up into a bit of a panic last night/this morning because I've had a bit of odd-looking discharge, sort of pale orangey-brown in colour, not like old blood, quite watery, no odour. Had a bit yesterday evening and a bit more this morning but there's nothing when I wipe. Has anyone else had anything like that? I'm not overly worried right now as it doesn't look like blood, but it's hard not to jump to worst case scenarios especially as I'm coming up to the point where my last pregnancy ended.

Holl89 · 21/02/2024 12:07

Hi guys!
They had to do an abdominal ultrasound because the bloody probe was broken… and they weren’t keen on even doing it at first coz I had a chemical in January they said my dates may be wrong etc etc… but… little bean measuring 6 weeks 4 days (I thought I was 6 weeks 6 days) and a healthy heartbeat 😭. Cried my eyes out 🥺❤️

It's such a horrible thing - anxiety. It zaps our energy.
How many weeks are you?

Scarftown · 21/02/2024 12:34

Found you all!

I am symptomless apart from the very Covid dreams so it doesn't feel real for me yet but every now and then I have panic because how is my 2.5 year old going to react and how am I going to get her out of the bed and off the boob before the baby comes also how am I going to cope now I am nearly 40.

LuxeBiscuit · 21/02/2024 12:45

@HotCrossBunnyInTheOven thank you. It's stopped now so I'll wait and see.

@CluelessInLondon I had IVF so I spoke with a nurse at the clinic after I had similar this morning. The nurse said non-red discharge could be irritation of your cervix or uterus and I should be concerned if I had bright red bleeding. Hopefully, there's nothing to be concerned about with yours either.

LuxeBiscuit · 21/02/2024 12:46

Don’t feel guilty! Baby takes all the goodness from you - they are fine, it’s just us that suffer! Are you taking a multi vitamin?

mouldygrapes · 21/02/2024 13:07

@Holl89 that's wonderful!

@HotCrossBunnyInTheOven congrats! there's definitely a few of us on here in our 40s. I'm 40, will be 41 just after baby born if all goes to plan.

@CDD yes I've been sent my NHS scan but I've not seen the midwife yet. Just referred myself online with LMP etc. My booking is at 9+5 and scan will be at 12+5
