@tulipsunday mine was head down at my last scan, but feels like he's in an awkward position today, I've been getting rolls around my belly, and kicks down on the side, but seems like head down, butt near my belly and legs folded back down the side so the kicks are still low
I hope he hasn't moved away from head down! Belly is a weird shape today so goodness knows! I was also told that it's unlikely he'll move from head down now! 30 weeks here too

Brokenpancreas94 · 07/11/2023 21:23

@tulipsunday @suz2285 the main movement I seem to get is like where my belly vibrates 😂 if that makes any sense? And often a kick or something just above my belly button!

tulipsunday · 08/11/2023 07:43

Sounds like lots of active babies 🥰 take care going down the stairs everyone! Tripped on the last one this morning. Least didn't fall any height but think will have a bruise on my bum!

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 08/11/2023 08:49

@tulipsunday Oh gosh! I'm glad it wasn't a worse fall. Hope the bruise isn't too bad!

Brokenpancreas94 · 08/11/2023 09:55

@tulipsunday oh no! Hope you're okay!
Stairs are my enemy anyway 🙈😬😂

Does anyone else get paranoid when baby isn't moving? Like I know they won't move 24/7 but even just the moments they're not moving because they're probably asleep I'm sat here paranoid that something is wrong, and then wanting him to move 🙈

WhiteHorse92 · 08/11/2023 11:06

@Brokenpancreas94 yes! There's been a few times where I've convinced myself I haven't felt baby move for a few hours and I've started to worry but then she'll start doing gymnastics eventually 😅. I was the same with my son, a few times I was like oh I haven't felt him move all morning and I'd be about to ring maternity but then he'd suddenly start moving lots. My son was definitely a night owl though 😅

suz2285 · 08/11/2023 11:52

@Brokenpancreas94 yes! Esp if I've had a busy day and don't feel like he's moved as much! I'm pretty much poking my belly a lot at this point 😂 mostly I'm ok but every few days I have a little freak out or overreaction when he hasn't moved as much!

TheBirdintheCave · 08/11/2023 12:04

@Brokenpancreas94 Yup, currently trying different positions to get a wiggle out of this one but it's not working. Getting a bit worried now.

Nushyboots · 08/11/2023 15:13

just catching up on the posts - everyone’s babies sound really active! 🥰hope they all stay where they should be ( bums up 🙂)

Brokenpancreas94 · 08/11/2023 18:44

@TheBirdintheCave @suz2285 @WhiteHorse92 it's the worst isn't it, I'm terrible for it!

Had 28 week growth scan today, he gave us a wave and looked like directly at us (if that makes sense haha) was cute! He's measuring perfectly too (for a type 1 diabetic mum) abdomen is slightly large but they're not concerned as it's normal. My diabetes isn't effecting him which is such a massive relief compared to my pregnancy with my daughter! Next scan in 3 weeks so hopefully things don't change!

Brokenpancreas94 · 08/11/2023 18:50

I don’t feel left out anymore haha 😂 @suz2285

Hey ladies I feel really bad just asking random questions all the time and feel free to tell me if thats annoying, but I feel really nervous today had some discolouration on tissue (sorry about tmi) and feels like how I used to feel a few days before my period, no severe cramping but just dont know if this will end just being ‘normal’ or lead to the same as last yr (mc) supposed to be 7weeks today.

Brokenpancreas94 · 08/11/2023 18:52

@Neelamj I had the "period" like feelings around about the same time too, lasted a few weeks for me!

suz2285 · 08/11/2023 19:16

@Brokenpancreas94 good times joining the chart club 😂

@Neelamj I felt like my period was coming several times during the first tri! It's really
Common as well around the time your period would normally be due! I think it's just the uterus growing mostly but I've also heard of people having 'light periods' at their normal periods time and everything being fine... it's so anxiety inducing, even now if I have a random cramp I panic, but hopefully all will be ok 🤞

Neelamj · 08/11/2023 21:05

@Brokenpancreas94 @suz2285 thank you for the reassurancehonestly really helps, just felt really emotional after seeing more spotting but have prepared myself mentally, friday cannot come any sooner!

Brokenpancreas94 · 08/11/2023 21:08

@Neelamj spotting is horrible, but have to try and also remember that it can be normal in pregnancy! My friend bled loads all the way through her pregnancy, she was initially told at the start that it wasn't good news but her baby is now 5! It is hard and not the same for everyone, but I've got everything crossed for you! Xx

suz2285 · 08/11/2023 21:08

@Neelamj everything crossed for you, the waiting is the worst part for sure 🤞🤞

tulipsunday · 08/11/2023 22:07

@Neelamj I had those feelings during my first trimester and agree it is unsettling as feels like your period coming. Sending you lots of luck for Friday. Please do ask any questions you like.. I know I certainly ask random ones 😂

@Brokenpancreas94 so glad little one is growing well and you got your chart 😂

Brokenpancreas94 · 09/11/2023 10:26

@tulipsunday I'm in shock, I was expecting him to atleast be a little big! Such a different pregnancy compared to my daughter!

Can everyone join in on calling me an actual idiot...I ignored a hypo during the night as I was just too tired and now I'm paying for it big time today 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

TheBirdintheCave · 09/11/2023 10:32

@Brokenpancreas94 Oh gosh, I hope you're not feeling too bad because of it 😞

Brokenpancreas94 · 09/11/2023 10:34

@TheBirdintheCave it's like a hangover, I just feel really lightheaded, because my body did a "liver" dump of glucose to try and resolve it itself...my own stupid fault 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

TheBirdintheCave · 09/11/2023 10:37

@Brokenpancreas94 Ah yes, I have reactive hypoglycaemia (of some sort) and that feeling is always horrid.

Brokenpancreas94 · 09/11/2023 10:38

@TheBirdintheCave it's horrible isn't it! I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning!

TheBirdintheCave · 09/11/2023 10:41

@Brokenpancreas94 I always called it the 'empty feeling' as even if I've eaten it feels like I haven't and I get very spaced out, have no energy, am dizzy, confused and my heart beat gets faster.

Went to a doctor about it once and they just said 'Well, I don't know what that is.'

I had to work out what it likely is by myself 🙄
