Just the painful wait for the screening results now!!

My two year old told me there was a baby in my tummy. I asked her where she'd heard that. She said she guessed because my tummy is sooo big. Then she said it's going to wear little trousers and be so cute 🤣

Kids fromage frais are my new craving. Can't get enough. Especially peach flavoured ones 😋

I went to have a little sit down at 7pm. Just woken up two hours later 😂

After nausea very thankfully mostly disappearing over the last 2 weeks I feel really sick again tonight. I know a few of you have also had this at 11ish weeks so I guess it's normal but just sharing the joy anyway 😂

Kids are hilarious aren't they @Luhou ! Tbh, I think DS had worked it out anyway as he asked the other day the same thing as your 2 year old 😂

@PartRadish around 9 weeks I felt so much better, could finally eat whatever I fancied and had some energy, since 11 weeks I'm right back to feeling sicky and not wanting anything 😂 so weird how it works, really thought I was over the worst of it

Oh they're the worst @FirstT1meMum truly kicking my bum right now. It was my mum that got the brunt of it today sadly. I took ds to see her and my brother after the worst possible day ever at work (started with an observation, but it was part of an hour and a half visit to school and they spent 20 minutes (felt like 45 minutes) in with me and my class... followed by a nightmare afternoon baking with my year 4s. Never making chocolate chip cookies with more than 1 child EVER again!!!) They decided it was the perfect time to go shopping for ds birthday present, and she kept telling me to chill out and stop stressing, I snapped and cried, dropped her home and then cried the entire drive home, then cried at dh about it, then cried at the feedback from my observation (it was positive as well 🤦‍♀️)
Did the food shop and then cried cooking dinner because the pizza wouldn't fit on the baking tray... irrational? Me? NEVER 🤣

@PartRadish im now 12w2d and this nausea and not fancing anything to eat is driving me insane. on top of that i can't find anything i like to drink or should i say anything that won't make me more nauseas but i need to stay hydrated.
Told my doc today that im still nauseas and now have even threw up. She just smiled and said hopefully only few weeks of that left. I felt like screaming that you've said that since i came here first when i was 7w 😂

@Hummusanddipdip im so sorry, i know you feel bad and these hormones are getting to you but when i read that it made me laugh

I’m more wretchy than ever. I wretch over the thought of the food waste bin. Still vomiting about every other day. Just lovely. I’ll be 12weeks on Wednesday

Marking my place. I'm still feeling nauseous as well. Was thinking at 6w how would I deal with it for 4 weeks hoping it would be gone by 10 weeks! Now 11+1. Still 2 weeks to wait til my scan, seems like ages!

Today I really fancied egg fried rice for lunch so made some... Added garlic and think that made me feel nauseous since 😅

Thanks for the inspiration, ladies who do late night cereal. Was feeling sicky but needed to eat something and Rice Krispies hit the spot perfectly.

Hi all checking in. Had my scan last Thursday measured 12+2 so guess I’m 13 weeks already. I’m due 9th Jan and currently awaiting my results. It’s cool to see everyone’s scan. Also dealing with gestational diabetes which has taken most of the fun out of my diet.

@Lraine86 ah GDM is rubbish isn’t it. I’m waiting for my appt for an early GTT as with both last babies had likely late onset GDM.

woken up for work and have a headache. Great start to the day!

@Mummyme87 lol. I’m normally up at this time if I’m going into the office. I’m going to swim for 30 minutes shortly. The exercise part of GDM is fine. It’s just limiting fruits, increasing servings of raw veg and reducing carbs. I was very healthy for the first few weeks. However, my levels are going up again despite healthy diet and exercise so need to speak to the diabetes team when they keep open so may as well stay awake in the meantime

I am 13 + 4 and still feeling so sick in the evenings. My current nemesis is public toilets. Even the idea of them makes me wretch.

Now we know we’re having a girl I’ve got very into picking out names! Would love people’s views - we really like the name Eloise but my mums name is Louise, is that too close / confusing??

DH has been a star and slept with the toddler last night so I could sleep 8:30-7. This cold is kicking my butt and paracetemol is about as useful as a wet flannel.

Still throwing up every day too, now 13 weeks 🙄 looks like I’m going to be sick until 16 weeks just like with my first.

Thanks for the kind messages all. @Lilothblos you could spin it and say Eloise is a tribute to your mum so win-win. We’re looking at K names if it’s a girl and have agreed on an L names if it’s a boy.
