Thread 9! I wonder if this will be the one most babies are born in - can't wait to hear all the happy announcements 😁

I'm really sorry if I've missed anyone, I've done my best. Do give me a shout if I've missed you or have your info wrong (apologies if so!), and I'll make a note.

Thread 9 already, crazy! We're really in the home stretch now 🥰

PumpkinEverything · 27/06/2023 17:34

So close now!

EsmeSusanOgg · 27/06/2023 17:34

We are racking up the threads! Final straight now!

marleyandme · 27/06/2023 17:35

Bookmarking! Hope everyone is going alright on this final stretch. I'm finishing work on Friday and can't wait but also feeling like I'll be bored and need to embrace having nothing to do for a while 😂 got a massage, nail appointment and some meet ups with family scheduled to give me things to do!
So exciting that we have a delivered list starting now too!

MinnieFirstTimeMum · 27/06/2023 17:36

Thank you @DesertSnow

Marmaladebear · 27/06/2023 17:42

Thank you @DesertSnow ♥️♥️

sally16 · 27/06/2023 17:45

One baby.. so many to go 🥳
I got partially discharged from perinatal mh team today 🥰 they said I've made such amazing progress and will meet me at the section date for support and see me at home 6 weeks after! Feels crazy making post natal appointments!!

Mulner88 · 27/06/2023 18:37

Thank you @DesertSnow So close! 35+3 today and really feeling it now.

RGxo13 · 27/06/2023 18:52

BMK · 27/06/2023 20:45

Thanks@DesertSnow and that's great news @sally16 ; you seem so upbeat- was/is it work/stress related do you think? Congratulations though and also are you enjoying your time off???

CityKity · 27/06/2023 20:47

Thanks for the new thread @DesertSnow you’ve done an amazing job keeping track of everyone!

Rowanandremy · 27/06/2023 20:50

Thank you @DesertSnow can’t believe we are on thread 9.

Great news @sally16 😁

Had a bit of an eventful time today, I had to contact my midwife as I had a bit of weird discharge and she said it sounds like I’ve had a bit of a show but she isn’t concerned at all as I’ve no symptoms of anything. Still it’s got us sorting my hospital bag and letting select family know in case we need them for dd. I feel fine in myself and baby has been flip flopping around as usual and absolutely not staying in the head down position 😂 so hopefully it’s nothing, maybe a warning to take it a bit easier which dw is insisting on anyway.

sally16 · 27/06/2023 20:52

@Marmaladebear Thankyou 🥰
@BMK she thinks it was that I needed the consultant and midwife to basically talk me through DS birth compared to how this one will go.. like knowing the date of section, knowing the routine, planning the music, seeing baby for the golden hour straight away (after the usual checks) baby not leaving my side unless needing nicu but massively lower risk this time due to no distress etc!
Last time I thought DS had died.. I wasn't shown him.. he was taken away blue and I got too see a few pics they let my partner take.. but I was grieving thinking he was gone! This time I'll get to see him properly and get a photo with him then they will take him if need be. So much previous mental trauma but since I seen the consultant it's like a weights been lifted off my shoulders! I can finally breath and look forward to it all!

sally16 · 27/06/2023 20:54

Also loving being off work 🤣 my hips aren't as sore now, DS has been thriving and just feeling so much love from him for getting to see him every morning!
Had all my hosp apps cancelled too as they were causing me anxiety and consultant said no need for it! Midwife next week to get bloods and usual stuff but everything's just so good!
And I've got the nursery nearly done 😂

AnnieApple123 · 27/06/2023 21:12

Lovely to see the thread still going strong. I was really touched to hear that some of you still think of me. I did try coming on the FB group but I couldn’t work out who anyone was, which felt a bit bewildering.

Much love to everyone. 😘

nadsc · 27/06/2023 22:21

Thank you @DesertSnow

BCxx · 27/06/2023 22:31

@AnnieApple123 aww so nice to see your name on here ☺️ I hope you’re doing okay. You cross my mind all the time still

BCxx · 27/06/2023 22:36

@sally16 so glad to see things are so good for you now, you sound so much happier 😊 Was it an emergency section last time in the end? Sorry you will have said before but so hard to keep track of everyone’s. Great they’re going to see you on the day too. A planned section (in my experience) is such a nice controlled way to do it if you’re anxious. I had such a hugely positive experience last time, it was by far the best day of my life and not just because I met my baby at the end of it, but because of the whole experience just being so chilled and positive ☺️

Miraclesdohappen88 · 27/06/2023 23:18

Thank you @DesertSnow for the new thread!! Can't believe I'm a mummy at long last! Excited to hear about all the upcoming deliveries over the next few weeks! Wishing everyone all the best.

@AnnieApple123 lovely to see you on here again. Your always in my thoughts ✨

BMK · 27/06/2023 23:19

Oh @AnnieApple123 it's so amazing to hear from you,I didn't realise your username was still effective!!!!! How are you???? Without you this thread wouldn't exist!! I also think about you often and also think what an amazing Consultant, doctor, scientist you would make!!your organisation is also incredible!! Sending so much love your way and hoping you are OK and being here isn't too upsetting for you. We're not in charge in this life anyhow and things will work out. The shoulders are built to bear the weight etc! Your talents are also many many!!

BMK · 28/06/2023 00:05

@sally16 I'm so sorry that you had that experience, you must have been traumatised. No surprise whatsoever that you were triggered by repeat event!!

airmaxJ · 28/06/2023 01:32

Yes I wonder if this will be the thread that the babies are born in and we start wondering if were going into labour soon etc

airmaxJ · 28/06/2023 01:33

@AnnieApple123 have been wondering how you are doing too , hope your doing okay xx
