I am so sorry @Eirlys1986 I'm guessing there was no heartbeat then? I only ask, sorry I know its shit to talk about sometimes (I've been there too often too), but sometimes dates and measurements can be slightly off and it's only a few days out. Wishing you all the best ❤️

sashastuck · 13/06/2023 11:37

@Eirlys1986 I’m so sorry to hear this :( thank you for your support on this thread and I hope you’ll be joining another soon. Look after yourself ❤️ Xx

Oh @Eirlys1986 , I’m so sorry. Please be gentle with yourself and get all the cuddles you can!

cossie13 · 13/06/2023 11:39

I'm so sorry @Eirlys1986. Look after yourself ❤

suz2285 · 13/06/2023 11:45

@Eirlys1986 i'm so sorry, that's exactly what happened to me in Feb. Please look after yourself

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 11:48

Thanks so much everyone, I think I don’t really know what to do with myself at the moment to be honest, but that’s ok.
@Kalodin yes, sadly no heart beat and measuring 7+5. So they were saying obviously had it been measuring earlier then it could potentially have been too early for a heartbeat but because of the dates on measurement and lack of heartbeat they are certain it is a miscarriage. I am going to EPAU Friday for next steps.
Hope everyone understands if I leave the Facebook group now. Thanks for all being the best xxx

Kalodin · 13/06/2023 11:58

Oh @Eirlys1986 I am so sorry, its so shitty. I really hope that at the very least the EPU are kind and the process of passing your baby is gentle to you as can be. Best of luck ❤️

Bims2019 · 13/06/2023 12:33

So sorry @Eirlys1986, take care and wishing you all the best x

cossie13 · 13/06/2023 12:39

Just had a call from the hospital, they've booked me in for an early scan on Thursday as they've been through my notes and found that I lost one twin when I was pregnant with DD. I hadn't realised at the time it was a twin pregnancy but I can't fault my local NHS I'm not going to lie. Others would disagree but for me they've been amazing

PartRadish · 13/06/2023 12:40

Oh @Eirlys1986 I'm so, so sorry to hear this. Take cake ❤️

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 12:44

@PartRadish thanks ❤️, the typo just made me laugh 🧁. I probably should take cake immediately x

TrudyProud · 13/06/2023 12:46

@Eirlys1986 I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Try to give yourself time to process and heal. X

Salamander91 · 13/06/2023 12:55

@Eirlys1986 I'm so sorry ❤️

Kalodin · 13/06/2023 13:01

@cossie13 Does seem crazy they never relayed that to you at the time! Best of luck for Thursday.

I also have an early scan on Thursday too, feeling very nervous.

Although I'm grateful I can have DH with me this time around. Really hated going through the maternity care without any support during covid

I knew at the time of my early scan in that pregnancy but they must have been going through notes or something. I'm not going to question it if it means I get an early scan!

Good luck for your early scan on Thursday too

Kalodin · 13/06/2023 13:10

Oh I totally misread @cossie13 ! Yeah would make sense they're going through your notes about now.

Vikki7 · 13/06/2023 13:22

@Eirlys1986 so sorry to hear your sad news. Take time to heal and take it easy with yourself. Wishing you all the luck in the world. I hope the process is as gentle as can be for you.

cossie13 · 13/06/2023 13:23

@Kalodin It was the way I worded it, it definitely wasn't well worded!

I never expected them to until the booking appointment week after next! It's a pleasant surprise 😁

Redpanda21 · 13/06/2023 13:29

@Eirlys1986 so sorry to hear your news

I had a mmc during covid lockdown and found out at 9+5. First thing I did was drink until I couldn’t drink anymore as we had a family zoom quiz that evening where we were going to announce to family.

Sending you lots of strength and hugs xx

Matildahoney · 13/06/2023 13:55

Oh @Eirlys1986 so sorry to read this, I had an MC in September, take all the time you need to recover, don't put any pressure on yourself. Be kind to yourself. Good luck for the future. Take care. Here if you want to chat. X

ThomasinaLivesHere · 13/06/2023 15:20

@Eirlys1986 Sorry to hear your news. All the best going forward

Yolksac · 13/06/2023 15:32

Hi all,

quick update after the cramps and bleeding.... a little sad news as well
called EPAU yesterday and the fitted me in for a scan first thing this morning and did some blood tests

scan didn't show any viable pregnancy, there was evidence of ovulation and my uterine lining measured just under 7mm which is thin

bloods - serum HCG at 124 and progesterone at 2, which is low for both

my LMP was 16th April so should be 7.5 weeks now

midwife says it's either too early (dates wrong from irregular cycle) or I've already miscarried

back again in 48h to repeat bloods to see the trend..

thinking next time I should be on progesterone supplements... anyone has any experience in this?

I'm also thinking to see a fertility specialist privately, can't cope with leaving things like this

Kalodin · 13/06/2023 15:35

So sorry to read this @Yolksac I really hope you get the right information and support you need ❤️

ItsAJourney · 13/06/2023 15:44

@Yolksac Sorry to hear your update. Wishing you the best ahead of your next blood tests. Take care of yourself. xx

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 15:45

@Yolksac Im so sorry, so much sadness 😢 on this feed today! Nature is not kind to us ladies for sure. I hope the rescan and 48 hour bloods show something positive but am sending you lots of solidarity and thoughts if not. X
