Hi everyone! I think mumsnet cuts threads off at around 40 pages… here’s part 2 for when it does.

@Eirlys1986 it’s quite common to get lighter test lines at this stage. I wouldn’t read much into it but I know unwound be the same and worrying. Good you have a scan booked for tomorrow

flowerpot258 · 12/06/2023 20:54

@Lilothblos - aw thanks. It is quite good. Mine was transvaginal. Was yours the same ?

Lilothblos · 12/06/2023 20:56

@flowerpot258 yep it was, we got a choice of 5 and had to pick the best of a bad bunch!

Eirlys1986 · 12/06/2023 20:56

Thanks @Mummyme87 , your professional insight as always is calming! 😊
I think I was just an absolute numpty doing a test that I totally knew I shouldn’t be doing at the end of an absolute pig of a day. I shall finally eat my m and s airport chicken masala now and then away to bed! 😂 xxx

ItsAJourney · 12/06/2023 22:35

Great scan pic, @flowerpot258!

@Eirlys1986 Good luck with your scan tomorrow. As others have said, I’m sure the fainter line is nothing to worry about.

Kalodin · 13/06/2023 06:23

Best of luck @Eirlys1986

Absolutely feeling crap now tbh. Sickness is a proper drag and I don't know how to keep it hidden from work for much longer tbh! I'm sure they'll realise. I remember at a previous workplace I had to tell them as they kept sending me home for looking like crap and being sick.

RaspberryTime · 13/06/2023 06:41

Good luck today @Eirlys1986 💕

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 07:04

@ItsAJourney @RaspberryTime @Kalodin thanks 😊, I feel a little less insane after some sleep from toddler last night. Going at 10am with OH whilst son goes to nursery for the day, fingers crossed for good news x

Matildahoney · 13/06/2023 07:18

Good luck @Eirlys1986 hope all goes well x

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 07:29

Thanks @Matildahoney x

lucya66 · 13/06/2023 08:15

@Kalodin could you tell somebody at work? I’ve told some people so it helps.

I keep googling when does morning sickness end, praying it’s soon!

stressshead · 13/06/2023 09:13

@CaptainMuddle hope your scan goes ok today
X

suz2285 · 13/06/2023 09:45

Good luck today @CaptainMuddle and @Eirlys1986 let us know how the scans go

Mushroo · 13/06/2023 09:59

Had some erm ‘fun’ with DH this morning and had very light spotting afterwards!! So now I’m super stressed.

Not worth it at all! I’m going back to abstinence. I’m hoping the spotting is nothing :( got a scan on Saturday when I’ll be 12 weeks.

CaptainMuddle · 13/06/2023 10:12

Thank you @stressshead and @suz2285 - mine is first thing tomorrow, will update you all 💕

CaptainMuddle · 13/06/2023 10:14

@Mushroo Probably just your cervix telling him to bugger off 😂

stressshead · 13/06/2023 10:14

@CaptainMuddle sorry I've got my days completely mixed up Ive though was Wednesday all morning 🙈

Mushroo · 13/06/2023 10:29

@CaptainMuddle yes hopefully! He’s on a strict ban now 😂

cossie13 · 13/06/2023 10:33

@Eirlys1986 hope your scan went ok

@Mushroo I'm sure all will be fine, your body probably isn't used to it. These early days are super stressful aren't they?

Mushroo · 13/06/2023 10:40

@cossie13 definitely!! Symptom wise I’m actually fine, it’s the stress and uncertainty that’s the killer for me. Can’t wait for my scan.

The way it’s fallen I have a private one of Saturday, and my NHS one on Tuesday so hopefully they will give me piece of mind!

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 10:53

Hi everyone, sadly the scan today did not go the way I would have wanted. I have had a gut feeling something was not right with this pregnancy from the beginning and unfortunately I was correct, seems things stopped for this baby at 7+5 weeks and I should’ve been 8+ 1 today. I am obviously devastated but it’s nature’s way so I shall just have to accept it, dust off and move on. Will be ringing EPAU today to sort out next steps as I’ve have no bleeding etc so likely need some meds to start the miscarriage now.
I wish you all so well on your journeys now and I’m sad I can’t continue it with you, you are all fantastic ladies xxxx

ItsAJourney · 13/06/2023 11:00

@Eirlys1986 I’m so very sorry to hear your update. You sound so incredibly strong. Sending you much love and best wishes as you go through those next steps. Thank you for all the support you’ve given on this thread. xx.

Mushroo · 13/06/2023 11:04

@Eirlys1986 I’m so so sorry to hear that. This whole process seems so cruel.

I hope you have good support around you, we’re all here if you need to talk xx

youaremysunshine03 · 13/06/2023 11:07

Oh @Eirlys1986 I’m so sorry to hear this. Sending you so much love. Hope you can take some time for yourself. Don’t feel you need to dust it off and move on, take your time to heal ❤️ x

Dannic2018 · 13/06/2023 11:11

@Eirlys1986 I’m so so sorry. I had this at Christmas and it’s heartbreaking. Sending love and strength xx
