Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

Hey! How far along are you? Ive just tested positive this morning and my app says im due 26th jan 2024. It says im 4w 3d not sure how accurate it is atm..

cossie13 · 22/05/2023 10:19

Congrats on your positives! We got our first positive on 14th May, my periods were irregular too so we are flitting between being due end of Jan and start of Feb. Clear Blue says 2-3 so would be dated at 4-5 weeks pregnant currently, but unsure how accurate that is! We've booked a dating scan for 2nd June in the hope we'd definitely be 6 weeks by then!

sjh67 · 22/05/2023 12:21

Ohhh that's interesting! I have pcos so longer cycles so maybe that's why I've been dated 31st Jan!? My Clear Blue is also saying 2-3 weeks but it should be 1-2 weeks as I'm only around 3+4 today!

How are you both feeling so far? I've been so nauseas this morning, I really dread the first trimester. X

Maybe you're further along than you think? That or it's slightly inaccurate? Thing is, we never know fully until that first scan!

I'm queasy every single day and I'm making a list of foods that trigger the nausea. I've not been sick but just feel it. I was the same with my previous 2 so all being well, based off those pregnancies, I should stop feel sick by the end of the first trimester 🤞🏼

How are you feeling other than nauseous? Is this your first? X

mashm24 · 22/05/2023 13:57

No idea! We only DTD once so I'm certain of my day of ovulation could only be 9/10 May.

Awww baby 3 - how lovely. This will be our second, I have a 1 year old DS. What will your age gaps be? Like you I was super nauseas with my first until the 15th week. Looking like the same thing is happening!

OP posts:
cossie13 · 22/05/2023 14:07

Ah ok, so in theory it should be around then give or take a day or 2. Are you going to book a dating scan?

I have a 8 year old DS and a 5 year old DD 😁 I'm not with their dad so this could be interesting! Unsure whether to tell their dad before we tell them out of sheer courtesy.

Wow a 1 year old, so will it be 2 under 2?

I was 18 weeks with DS and 16 weeks with DD so following that pattern I'm hoping for 14 weeks with this one!

mashm24 · 22/05/2023 14:10

Yes going to book a scan around 7 weeks :-)

Ahh that's a though one. Maybe I would tell him because the kids might let it out anyway haha! Will you wait until 12 weeks to tell them?

Yep 2 under 2 (I know, we're mad!). I was diagnosed with pcos after my first so thought it would take a while to conceive - but I was wrong!

OP posts:
cossie13 · 22/05/2023 14:14

It's so hard to not book that scan isn't it?? I wasn't going to this time around but as it's my OH's first (my third), I thought I'd treat this as if it were my first pregnancy if that makes sense?

That was my thinking, I know it's nothing to do with him but I suppose it's a common courtesy thing right? Yeah, it'll be at least 12 weeks before we say something. If for no other reason DD is super super impatient 😂

Some friends of mine have 2 under 2, the almost had 2 under 1! They absolutely love it. We were the same on conceiving, came off the pill thinking it would take a good 6 months to get out of my system fully but nope! We think we were caught within a week of me coming off it!

mashm24 · 22/05/2023 14:23

Awww yes. And it's still as exciting seeing that little heartbeat for the first time. I had a bleed in my last pregnancy so I hope that doesn't happen again :-(

Do you guys still have an amicable relationship? If so, go for it! Do you think your other children will be excited 😃😃?

Ahh. There's pros and cons I think - it will be hard at the start but I'm hoping they will have a nice bond.

OP posts:
cossie13 · 22/05/2023 14:26

Fingers crossed it doesn't, but it doesn't always mean bad though.

Not really, we did but we recently started mediation to finally (after 3 and a half years) sort the house and finances out and it's getting a bit messy. The kids will be so excited! DS might not really care as he's 8 but I could be wrong. DD has been asking to be a 'big brother' for so long so she'll be over the moon!

Oh yeah for sure. As long as you look after yourself though, everything else should be fairly smooth going 😊

KittyKat1989 · 22/05/2023 15:45

Hello all. Please could I join?

I have tested positive yesterday and today and I estimate about a 2 February due date. However it’s hard to be accurate with dates as I have only had one post partum cycle. My little girl will be 6 months on Sunday 🙈 We weren’t expecting to catch so quickly but we are delighted!

How are you all feeling? ❤️

mashm24 · 22/05/2023 15:56

Welcome @KittyKat1989 🥰

Oh wow!! You will have 2 under 2 as well - we can keep each other sane. Congratulations!

I was nearly sick earlier so just tried to eat loads and relax today. How are you? How was your previous pregnancy :)?

KittyKat1989 · 22/05/2023 19:01

@mashm24 Congratulations to you too! We must be mad 🙈

How many DPO are you? I haven’t had any symptoms other than the type of exhaustion that I’ve only ever known in pregnancy. That made me test and here we are 🙈 My first pregnancy was straightforward really. She was measuring big so I was having growth scans and I had an elective c section which was a dream. Not expecting a repeat this time 😬 How was yours?

mashm24 · 22/05/2023 20:58

I'm 12/13dpo today. What about you? @KittyKat1989

Ahhh that sounds good! Mine was okay after the nausea stopped at 15 weeks, really struggled between weeks 6-12. Like you I had an elective c section and all went smoothly. I'm going to request another one this time around (I've had a chunk of my cervix removed)! Will you be having another c section or VBAC? X

OP posts:
KittyKat1989 · 22/05/2023 21:02

@mashm24 I think I am 10 DPO, but it’s my first cycle since having my daughter so it’s difficult to know.

I am testing every time I go to the loo now and can’t wait to see the line get darker. It is stubbornly faint now but I know it’s still super early.

I will definitely request another elective c section. Mine was fantastic and I was home within 24 hours.

Will you have an early scan? The wait to 12 weeks is so painful.

mashm24 · 22/05/2023 21:19

@KittyKat1989 hahaha I'm exactly the same! This is my progress so far and got a 2-3weeks on clear blue so I think my hormones are high. Scared of twins as there's multiples in the family ahh!

Wow out within 24 hours - that is amazing. Glad you had a great experience :-)

I probably will around 7/8 weeks. Will you?? Will you find out the sex too at 16 weeks? X

Due February 2024!
OP posts:
KittyKat1989 · 22/05/2023 22:21

@mashm24 we had scans at 8 weeks and 16 weeks for gender with my daughter and we will do the same here, all being well. It’s just such a long wait between scans! Will you do the gender one too?

Your line progression is great. Here’s mine. I had the FRER leftover from last year and have been taking the strips at every trip to the loo since yesterday 🙈 I just want to get on with it all now and am willing time to speed up, but I know it doesn’t work like that 😫

Where do you live?

Due February 2024!
mashm24 · 23/05/2023 08:26

@KittyKat1989 I know, 8 weeks seems so far away! I just booked ours in though for 8 weeks, hoping everything goes smoothly 🤞 yes definitely having the gender scan. DH would love a daughter this time but I'm not too fussed either way🩷💙

Your line progression is looking good too! Is hard not to obsess over the darkness isn't it!

We live in Lincolnshire, what about you?

Hello 👋 can I join please?

Think my due date will be 26th Jan but my DS was born 9 days overdue so I’m expecting a February baby.

Feeling no symptoms at all which is very unnerving! I had a lot of nausea with my DS but can’t remember when it started kicking in.

Hey we have the same due date and i feel the same no sickness or anything and I can’t remember my first too! Just mild sensitivity on nips if i touch! Had 4 losses so not feeling very hopeful

mashm24 · 23/05/2023 12:00

Hello to the newbies and welcome!! Congratulations on your pregnancies :-)

Ohhh be grateful for the lack of nausea 😂Mines kicked in that I cried this morning as I was nearly sick in public, which freaks me out. My last pregnancy it kicked in around 6 weeks, I think it's very normal not to have any symptoms just yet though, still super early days.

Sorry to hear about your previous losses @Pebblessss. Xx

I want to feel something i want to be sick! Lol then it will feel real to me. How many weeks are you?

KittyKat1989 · 23/05/2023 23:09

I had forgotten about pregnancy exhaustion. It’s another level of tired. I’ve just had a two hour nap on the sofa and am dropping off in bed already while trying to feed my daughter 😴

mashm24 · 24/05/2023 01:36

I'm only 4 weeks @Pebblessss - what about you?

@KittyKat1989 ahhh I know it's a different level of fatigue and just hits you at random times in the day. The little day naps are quite nice though haha.

It's currently 1.30am and I'm on the bathroom floor trying not be sick! Joy!
