Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

Awww that makes total sense @jamontoast2 and it will be a lovely surprise after such a journey🩷💙

I think we will find out at the second scan, DH said he would happily wait to find out but I'm not sure I could do it haha! I can't wait to find out but also happy either way.

Noo I am 4+4 today I think.

@KittyKat1989 thank you for the heads up, the heartbeat would be a bonus, but tbh I just want them to check that all is looking good 😊
@mashm24 My DH wants to keep the gender secret, but I have no patience whatsoever so I’m going to find out.

Rachae · 28/05/2023 20:37

@mashm24 oooo gotta love those dye stealers 😍 xx

JLC87 · 28/05/2023 22:23

Hi,

I'm new to mumsnet and was looking for a feb 24 thread, when i came across you all!
Congratulations to everyone with a positive ❤️

I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow with baby number 2. Working off when we will have conceived, I'll be due around 4th Feb.

Very nauseous every day but fortunately no vomiting!! Yet 🤞🏻

KittyKat1989 · 28/05/2023 22:31

@JLC87 congratulations and welcome! How old is your little one?

JLC87 · 28/05/2023 22:40

Thank you!
My DS is 5 next Sunday so a bit of a gap. Dreading the sleepless nights again haha.

He'll be so excited to be a big brother though.

KittyKat1989 · 28/05/2023 22:58

@JLC87 that is lovely that he will be excited and able to understand what is going on. The sleepless nights don’t last forever and they’re so worth it ❤️

JLC87 · 28/05/2023 23:01

@KittyKat1989 He loves babies so I can't wait for him to find out. He's so ready!

That's very true, nothing lasts long in the grand scheme of it!
Do you have children already?

KittyKat1989 · 28/05/2023 23:07

@JLC87 that’s really sweet. I have an almost 6 month daughter, so all being well we will have a 14 month age gap 😬 We conceived quicker than we expected to but we are overjoyed! Just praying for a sticky bean

JLC87 · 28/05/2023 23:10

@KittyKat1989 Holy moly!! I bet that was a bit of a shock. There's never a "right time" though. Congratulations and lots of sticky thoughts coming your way.

mashm24 · 29/05/2023 07:29

Huge congratulations to you @JLC87 and welcome to mumsnet! Aww your DS will be absolutely over the moon!!

@mashm24 amazing dye-stealers there!

@jamontoast2 that will be such a lovely surprise for you both 🩷 🩵
I don't want to find out, but also do.. 😂 I think we'll decide closer to the time as I'm so indecisive 🙈

JLC87 · 29/05/2023 09:54

@Harriet669 @mashm24
Thank you! Congratulations to you both too. ❤️

permanentlyshattered1 · 29/05/2023 11:42

Hi all,

I'm joining you all today with a bfp. 2nd baby - we weren't planning on trying properly until July but I had been roughly tracking so we thought we'd just see what happened. I'm 5 days late today and looks like I'm due 1st Feb 😊

Due February 2024!
WafflesNCream · 29/05/2023 12:11

@permanentlyshattered1 Congratulations! How old is your DC1?

permanentlyshattered1 · 29/05/2023 12:27

WafflesNCream · 29/05/2023 12:11

@permanentlyshattered1 Congratulations! How old is your DC1?

He will be 3 in September 😊

WafflesNCream · 29/05/2023 13:09

@permanentlyshattered1 ah that’s a lovely age gap ❤️ So exciting!

MamaA8146 · 29/05/2023 13:28

My tests today. 3 days before missed period.
But I've just had some light mucousy spotting when I when I wiped and now I'm terrified😫

I dont recally having any spotting at all with my 3yr old and 18month old😣

Due February 2024!
mashm24 · 29/05/2023 13:35

@permanentlyshattered1 congratulations!! We have the same due date I think 🥰

@MamaA8146 this could be implantation bleeding, if it's very light and no cramps? I had a little spotting too! Xx

OP posts:
MamaA8146 · 29/05/2023 13:37

@mashm24
Apologies for my ignorance I really dont know the in and outs of how everything works so if you could explain a bit, I'd so appreciate it!🙂
Can implantation/ implantation bleeding happen after you already have had a positive pregnancy test a few days before?

KittyKat1989 · 29/05/2023 14:05

@MamaA8146 they are great lines! Some spotting is completely normal so try not to worry ❤️

RegardingPersephone · 29/05/2023 14:13

Getting some good progression so tentatively optimistic!!

Due February 2024!
mashm24 · 29/05/2023 15:05

@MamaA8146 I was told this can take place any time between when your period was due but I don't know heaps about it either. I do think it's completely normal though 🩷 hard not to worry when you see blood. I had a really big bleed when I was 7 weeks with my DS1 - and everything was still okay!

@RegardingPersephone great progression there 🎉!!

OP posts:
MamaA8146 · 29/05/2023 16:47

@mashm24
So glad everything was ok for you🩵
Hopefully it stops soon for me, nothing is ever simple is it😭

Rachae · 29/05/2023 20:16

Hey to all the joiners!

Who are my 2 under 2 Mamas? I've spent today freaking out 😩. Anyone get a bit of worry about how to do it? My son is 10 months.

@MamaA8146 I'm sure it will be absolutely fine.. this happened to me in my pregnancy up until 12 weeks and it was called a haematoma. A fair amount of my friends had early bleeding too.. it's more common than we think! Doesn't always mean the worst xxx
