Hi all thought I couldn’t see our thread so created the second thread from the 5 weeks thread we were all, I hope I didn’t miss anyone and if I did please add them 💕

I can’t believe we all started together and almost every one is about to meet their bundle of joy this is beautiful 🥰🥰

c-section tomorrow (well today!) for me, scary but exciting!

Currently on induction suite for me (38+5) - went into maternity assesment on Weds with blurred vision and headaches. Had BP monitored and had to stay in overnight as it wasn't coming down. Obstrecian came round the next day (yesterday) and told me they wanted to induce me. Not the plan I had in mind but it's the safest option for me & baby. Had the pessary put in yesterday at 4pm so fingers crossed I'll be meeting my baby this weekend!

C-section unfortunately cancelled so just on a ward waiting to see what happens now, a bit gutted but grateful to not have been one of the emergency sections that had to take priority at the hospital. Itching to get a good meal in me though as haven’t eaten since yesterday afternoon 😅

Been a busy month for us. Baby Azalea Wren arrived 11 days ago, 6 days overdue, I know the waiting game well. Congrats @Daisy155 , enjoy your time with bub.

Hello All

Baby Miya arrived today at 2.20pm. From labour to birth was 3hrs and 20 mins. All is well, l didn't get the epidural l wanted but managed somehow!!

@BritishDesiGirl wow! So quick! Look at her lips - congratulations! She is so scrummy 😍

39 weeks here and NOTHING. Feeling so jealous of all you mumma's having your babies 😂

@Daisy155 I'm 39+2 and no signs of labour! Attempted a sweep on weds but my cervix was closed still so it was unsuccessful.

I don't think I'll be anytime soon!

Lovely seeing the birth announcements (and especially photos!). I hope you're all recovering well and managing with the sleep deprivation!

I'm heading towards 41wks now. No signs this one intends to come anytime soon still though.

My 1st was induced at 40+12 (and took until 42 to actually make an entrance) so no surprise. I'd have been more surprised if this one had come by now.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting for their arrivals too.

Sorry ladies I completely have forgotten to come back here & update! I spent 3 days in induction suite, after the last gel, I was 2cm - & waters broken were broken at 5pm, baby girl born 3.30am following morning (17th) weighing 8lb 10oz - unfortunately in theatre via forceps but she's here safe & sound which is all that matters!

@Daisy0909 That's how my induction with my first ended up - episiotomy + forceps in theatre.
I'm really willing this one not to end the same way. Not terribly hopeful though.

I hope you're not too sore. That lovely baby does make it all worth it though doesn't it!

I'm 39+5 today and no sign. Lost my mucus plug this afternoon so hoping things will get started now 🙂

Congratulations to all the mammas who have given birth! beautiful news and pictures! Lots of wishes for the recovery and enjoying the newborn bubble.
I'm at 40+4 and no signs yet, got a sweep booked for Thursday and hoping to avoid a 42 weeks induction, but also want to stay relaxed and believe it'll happen at the right time 🤞

Hello @colourPink I'm still waiting too! 41+1, two attempted sweeps and induction next week if nothing happens. What's your next step? Fingers crossed all starts soon and goes well x

@FlicUK I'm 40+2 so very similar! I've had three attempted sweeps now so I'll also have an induction next week if nothing progresses.

@FlicUK we must have the same due date as I'm 41+1 too. Still no hints of anything happening here though.

I still have my fingers crossed for you all. Seriously fed up at this point . Trying to relax and "let things happen" but NOTHING is happening 😂
