Pregnant after miscarriage

Hi all, hope you are all well🥰

I have just found out that I am pregnant again after a loss in December at 5+2 (very early!). I’m only 4 weeks going by last period so it really is so early again. I am so happy but also know i’m going to struggle with the waiting. I know I just have to play the waiting game and hope for the best. Anyone been in similar position with positive outcome? Really hope this is our time🤞🌈

I’m so sorry @Sb86 💔 we’re all here for you. I agree with @Charliexo if there’s another hospital close by definitely try their EPU, making you wait so long seems awful xxx

There isn't anywhere near and I doubt they'd see me anyway, if I'm miscarrying then they can't do anything. I just wish I could have had the progesterone earlier when I rang up first. I just want my partner, this is just absolutely shite. I feel so utterly helpless 💔

@Sb86 my epu doesn’t even open on the weekend so I’m not actually surpised they’re not seeing you, some of them are a bit crap🤦🏻‍♀️ I really feel for you going through it alone, hopefully your partner is back soon and can support you 💕

hope everyone else is doing ok? I had my scan this afternoon, little bean is in there and has a wee flickering heartbeat! Measuring 6+5 which is less than I had worked me out at but I know when they’re so small it’s hard at this stage. Was a difficult scan as apparently my uterus is a bit abnormal so they struggled to find everything they needed to see but eventually got there 3 sonographers later. 🫣 it’s left me feeling a little anxious that my uterus is going to cause problems but trying to repeat what my husband said.. there was a baby, there was a heartbeat and they seemed happy. Back In two weeks just so they can see everything a bit better with baba being bigger so hopefully will have an easier time finding baby!!

@TTCX2 what did they say was abnormal with your uterus?? Mine was normal at 10 weeks and then apparently tilted by 12 which I don’t understand! Fab news that baby was okay🥰🥰xx

Hello ladies thanks for asking after me, I haven't had a proper bleed since Saturday night it's just been whilst I've wiped and ita brown so I'm hoping that's good news. I've got my fingers crossed that it's a subchorionic hematoma again...never thought I'd wish for one but rather that than mc again. We shall soon see, I'm in on Thursday morning so I'm just praying for miracle. I'm still feeling nauseous and my breasts still feel fuller and nipples tender so who knows.

The scan sounds eventful but how wonderful @TTCX2 🥰

well @ChloeN I’ve never really had a problem before in my first pregnancy with my wee girl. My HCG apparently showed irregular uterine contouring 🤷🏻‍♀️ But at the time nobody said that would cause any issues and they didn’t say it would cause issues for the pregnancy today, just kept saying how much of a struggle it was to get a good eye on everything 🫣my uterus has obviously drastically declined in three years since I had my daughter 😂

I've just plucked up the courage to do a test and I'm not sure if it makes a difference but... the top one is sat morning with fmu and the second one is tonight at 20:10. I'm hoping this is a good sign 🙏🏼

I know @ChloeN, when I googled it (of course I did 😂), your uterus is formed when you yourself are in your mothers womb and the irregularities happen then. So not entirely sure how yours could tilt then not tilt and how mine can be normal for the full time I carried my daughter and now be irregular 🤷🏻‍♀️😂🫣

Just jumping on here. I miscarried at 6 weeks in February and now I've been lucky enough to conceive the following cycle, I just have no idea what my dates are. I've waited a week to ring the GP and then had my appointment cancelled 🤦 so hoping they might offer me an early scan to date me but probably unrealistic expectations.

@TMI2000 you sounds very similar to myself, I miscarried in February at 6 weeks and I'm now pregnant again. I'm just wondering how you got a HCG level?

@TTCX2 it literally makes no sense then how on earth have ours changed 🤣🤣 mine apparently was not tilted at 10 weeks, tilted by 12 and then not tilted by 15🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤣

@GH9687 hiya! Congrats! As soon as I got the positive I called my GP as I was concerned and they offered it to me, I got my initial ones done on Thursday and they’re repeating them this Thursday.

Congratulations @GH9687 🎊 they might test your hcg first and want you to be at a certain point before getting you in for a scan. Fingers crossed you get somewhere with it and have the reassurance you need x

I have my GP appointment tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed they're helpful, I was worried that they wouldn't really care as I've only had one miscarriage.

I rang the EPU today as I've had back ache on/off which was the precursor to both my bleeds in my previous pregnancy and miscarriage but they just fobbed be off really, told me to go to A&E if it gets worse 🙄

@GH9687 I got pregnant straight after a miscarriage at nearly 6 weeks and they dated me as though the miscarriage was a period as it was such an early miscarriage they said it wouldn’t affect my cycle by more than a few days. I ovulated CD17 so not much different to normal and all 3 of my scans so far have dated me exactly as I expect from ovulation (I’m 17+3 weeks now and had 2 private scans as well as my 12 weeks nhs scan).
