Pregnant after miscarriage

Hi all, hope you are all well🥰

I have just found out that I am pregnant again after a loss in December at 5+2 (very early!). I’m only 4 weeks going by last period so it really is so early again. I am so happy but also know i’m going to struggle with the waiting. I know I just have to play the waiting game and hope for the best. Anyone been in similar position with positive outcome? Really hope this is our time🤞🌈

Oh Charlie. Absolutely thrilled that the bigger baby is strong and health but equally so sorry to hear you’ve lost the other. You must have a lot of complex emotions, I can only imagine. I hope you’re ok and try and take it easy. ❤️

It feels so strange, I'm obviously heartbroken one hasn't made it but at the same time I'm so grateful that we have one that is looking healthy for this stage.

@ChloeN did you say there was a lady on one of your other chats who lost a twin early on and her pregnancy continued and the surviving twin is doing well xx

@Charliexo yeah there is! She’d be about 20 weeks by now if not more, I think she lost the first twin pretty early and then the other one is doing really well☺️ xx

@Charliexo I’m so sorry about the baby, but I’m really glad the other one is doing so well 🙏 it might not help to think this way, but if you hadn’t had an early scan you’d have only known about this baby - I don’t know if that helps or not xxx

could somebody please shout at me and tell me to back away from the tests… I got a bit of fear after my scan on Monday with baby measuring a few days behind and then saying my uterine outline was irregular so I did a wee strip test and whilst still an absolutely strong positive, I was getting dye stealers before so of course I’m questioning it. I know myself I shouldn’t have done it but here we are 🫣

@TTCX2 STEP AWAY FROM THE TESTS!!! I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation but you doing those tests will not help your anxiety in any way. Just try to relax and think positive thoughts ❤️🌈

@TTCX2 this happened me on Tuesday, my tests where lighter, I freaked out so much I ended up going for a private early scan that afternoon and all was OK, the sonographer told me, "look at this screen, you're pregnant, you don't need to do any more tests"

hoping that it contents you a bit, I'm eaten up with anxiety, I have another scan tomorrow lol I had it already booked before I had went for that one on Tuesday so going anyway as my husband will be with me, hoping it goes ok, my anxiety and worry is through the roof

@TTCX2 glad to be of service haha, well yeah I've barely done anything due to nausea...constantly eating to try rid me of that horrible feeling! But feeling so much better, need to get past the 8 week mark now and then onto the 12 week scan 🤞🏼🙏🏼❤️🌈

@TTCX2 I'm feeling ok today, I'm just very grateful I still have a healthy one in there, so I've got to stay calm and relaxed, so I'm just trying to think of positives rather than getting myself down about what's happened. I said to my sister in law today that I forget I'm only 8 weeks. After all the scans and blood tests I've had to have already, I feel like I'm at the end of the 9 months, never mind the start. In a way, I'm glad I'm going to be left alone for a few weeks until my 12 week scan now.

You will drive yourself insane with those tests, defo do what @Sb86 has told you to do 😂 that test looks lovely and strong! When is your next scan? Xx

@TTCX2 I diluted mine with like 90% water 10% wee and they went back to being way darker! The same is probably the case for you! Xx

Hi I was a bit reluctant to ask to join as I'm still in disbelief that I'm pregnant. I've had 3 losses, most recent was a horrific mmc last year.
I've had a good 8 months from TTC and get pregnant with first try! So I'm v nervous like abnormally nervous.
I'm only 5w but I've done multiple tests, as you can see below 🙈 googling constantly that I didn't have a dye stealer but not always a bad thing. Just constant negative thoughts going around my head all day long. anyone else get this ??

Oh @38andtrying I’m sorry you had a panic, it really is such a difficult time. Glad you got reassurance with your scan and lucky you get to see them again today 🥰🥰 I don’t know why I’m testing still I’m pretty positive I stopped after my early scan with my 1st. Need to chill my beans. @Sb86 I feel you on that front, nauseous unless eating.. and I don’t have the kind of figure where I can afford to do that 😂🫣

@ChloeN I’ve heard a lot about this and I suppose it’s true that your hormone levels will reach a certain point that is too much for the test. Im hoping that’s what it is anyway! @Charliexo your outlook on this is incredible, you are a really strong woman and you’re absolutely right to focus on this amazing blessing ❤️.

Welcome @indieray and congratulations. Sorry to read you’ve had such horrible losses and it’s so normal for that to impact you with a new pregnancy. I myself Over the last 5/6 weeks taken far too many pregnancy tests and what the ladies have said to me is right, they just fuel our anxiety. Do you have a private early scan booked? You are pregnant right now and that is amazing. Sending you lots of love!

@indieray so sorry for your losses, pregnancy after loss can be so difficult. I saw this on another page and it's really helped

Scan went great measuring 6w+5 and heartbeat, they advised waiting for another few weeks until about 9 weeks for next scan, so will do that, taking it step by step

I’m out unfortunately. Scan showed still only a yolk sac. I’m just so emotional and exhausted. Wishing you all the best of luck xxx

Did they say you need to go back for a review incase of any changes though? I've seen many forums where girls have said they saw something later on, but of course I don't want to give you false hope if the people you've seen today have said different.
