Can’t believe we’re onto a second thread already. Hope this doesn’t put any newbies off, as I don’t think we’re even halfway through possible due dates yet. Anyone welcome to join in.

I wanted to start off by reassuring TheBirdintheCave that I have no nausea either and had none whatsoever all through my last pregnancy. Thinking of you and hoping your current fears turn out to be for nothing. xx

Hi! I just got a BFP a couple of days ago after 2 chemicals earlier this year. Due on 14th august
Only 4w1d so super early and very nervous. Had a bit of a sleepless night last night in worry.....fell into a bit of a rabbit hole of miscarriage statistics (stacked up against me) 🫣

Dia12 · 07/12/2022 00:11

I have no symptoms at all, just the odd twinge here and there.
I'm still tracking my bbt and resting heart rate....and counting down to when I can have a viability scan. DH is wanting to wait till 8w which feels like a lifetime away. 🤞🏼

UsernameNotPresent · 07/12/2022 03:25

Welcome @Dia12 😊 I'd say step away from Dr Google and try to focus on getting through one day at a time. I know, it's so much easier said than done! I am sorry to hear about your chemicals.
Thanks @AnnieApple123 for starting a new thread! Chatty bunch we are I am struggling to keep up.
@TheBirdinTheCave I am sorry to hear you are going through this. If it's of any consolation, I had no nausea with my DS, and if it wasn't for missed periods and later a growing belly, I wouldn't have known I was pregnant. I've got everything crossed for you.

Miraclesdohappen88 · 07/12/2022 07:22

Hi all, can I join in? I'm 5 weeks pregnant today! After a very long and difficult road with IVF. Hoping this is our chance to be parents. Symptoms I've had our some cramping, nausea and sensitive nipples. Also hoping I've just got my dye stealer 🤞

I also have zero symptoms. Think I'm 7 weeks on Sunday, hoping I've escaped the worst of it. Well other than a bloated belly. I hope it's bloating anyway, baby is microscopic, I can't believe I'm so big already!

buttercupbee · 07/12/2022 07:57

@AnnieApple123 thanks for setting up a new thread!

@Dia12 @Miraclesdohappen88 welcome and congratulations! 💖

I also haven’t had any nausea and I’m 6+1, in fact the only real symptom I’ve had is sore boobs and a bit of tiredness. If it wasn’t for missing AF I probably wouldn’t even know I was pregnant 🙈

elarcoiris · 07/12/2022 08:08

Can’t believe we’re onto a second thread already - what a bunch of chatty Cathys we are!

Thinking of you this morning @TheBirdintheCave - hoping it’s a positive outcome for you xx

sally16 · 07/12/2022 08:16

Good luck today @TheBirdintheCave xx

sally16 · 07/12/2022 08:17

@Dia12 I'm also due 14th august! Also super early 😂 I found out the same time with DS and while it was a rough pregnancy towards the end, the early bit seemed to fly in!

girlshelpxx · 07/12/2022 08:18

hiya i'm joining the thread, got my BFP on monday im roughly 4 weeks + 4 , i’m so excited !! it's my first pregnancy. What's everyone's symptoms like? I have none tbh :( it's worrying me a bit , i did have tender breasts before my missed period but now there normal , is this normal? xx

marleyandme · 07/12/2022 08:19

Good luck today @TheBirdintheCave

I have only had the tiniest bit of nausea that luckily passes very quickly at the moment but I'm so exhausted! Feel like I need to sleep all the time and this cold weather is just encouraging me to hibernate 😂

Amme18 · 07/12/2022 08:34

Thinking of you today @TheBirdintheCave

Just to reassure everyone there is no normal/not normal way to have symptoms! They can come and go, they can not be there at all or be horrifically bad the whole way through 🫣 I know its
reassuring to have the symptoms but don’t panic if you don’t either…just try and enjoy the symptomless days 🤣 xx

Mulner88 · 07/12/2022 08:53

Fingers crossed for you @TheBirdintheCave 🤞🏼

I'm very bloated too!!

Has anyone thought if we are lucky enough to get to the end, about being 8-9 months pregnant in the really hot weather? 🙈

DesertSnow · 07/12/2022 09:00

Thanks for the new thread @AnnieApple123. We're obviously a very chatty bunch - just saw the July thread isn't even up to 800 messages 😅

Welcome and congrats to @Dia12 @Miraclesdohappen88 @girlshelpxx

@Mulner88 Yes! I'm terrible in the heat! But also worried about keeping a newborn cool.

Good luck today @TheBirdintheCave.

I'm so bloated! Also having a bit of nausea but not very much. Hope everyone's doing ok.

sally16 · 07/12/2022 09:02

@Mulner88 I went to Tunisia about 25 weeks pregnant last time and oh my.. it was rough let alone being close to term 🥵

WonderfulSummer · 07/12/2022 09:12

I would love to join albeit a bit nervous! This happened this morning and we were not really trying yet as only got married in August. Excited, scared, feeling woefully unprepared and unsure of what to do but realise how lucky we are to have conceived without much effort! From my last period and the NHS expected due date, due August 18th.

ChloeN · 07/12/2022 09:24

@TheBirdintheCave good luck this morning lovely I’m praying you’ll be okay🥰❤️

@Miraclesdohappen88 you must be over the moon, looks like a fab dye stealer too☺️

@girlshelpxx yes i think that’s normal! I do think symptoms come and go in early pregancy but it’s so normal to feel anxious! Xx

@WonderfulSummer i think sometimes it’s easier to concieve when your not really trying🙈 it was like that for us the first time we got pregnant we’d only decided that month, dtd once in fertile window and then I was pregnant 🤣

PumpkinEverything · 07/12/2022 09:52

Welcome and congratulations to all the new people 😁 I’m so excited that we’re only halfway through the month for due dates so still have lots more people to hopefully join!

@Mulner88 i was pregnant last summer when we broke multiple records for heat 😂🙈 it wasn’t fun! I was thankful to be working from home to sit in my pyjama shorts as they where the only ones that fit me haha. Not going to have that luxury this time as I’ll need to go into the office! Im hoping my work let me wfh towards the end so I can hopefully not be out and about when it’s too hot!

MsRT · 07/12/2022 09:56

Good luck today @thebirdinthecave ❤️

thank you @AnnieApple123 for setting up the second thread. Cannot believe we’re on thread 2 already!

welcome and congratulations to everyone new. It’s lovely to see how many of us there is.

I’m feeling a lot of ‘period pains’ at the minute on one side. Is anyone else experiencing this? Im roughly 6+2 x

LMM91x · 07/12/2022 10:24

morning allll!!! Chatty cathys indeed 🤣
my boobs are going theough absolute rollercoasters of hurting and then nothing… driving me mad. I feel like mid morning - mid afternoon its really ramping up atm then calming down… so strange. !
i was up at 4am this morning feeling sick as a DOG, threw up the tinest little bit just to try and get myself be able to go back to sleep! I am shattered today now 😭😭 roll on 5pm.

But generally no nausea reallt, maybe slightly when I wake up in the morning but it definately goes away quickly so far. I’m 5 weeks on fridaaaay eeeek -early scan in two weeks tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞💕💕

buttercupbee · 07/12/2022 10:27

@WonderfulSummer congratulations! I got married in July 🥰 such an exciting time!

@Mulner88 yes I have thought about the heat as a friend of mine has an August baby and I know she struggled towards the end 🙈

Good luck @TheBirdintheCave 💖

ChloeN · 07/12/2022 10:29

@Mulner88 @buttercupbee I was quite looking forward to being on maternity leave in the summer lol, I was thinking I could read my book in the shade in the garden everyday🤣🤣

girlshelpxx · 07/12/2022 10:52

I spoke too soon!!! i feel so sick

Alpacabag22 · 07/12/2022 11:09

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing ok.

@MsRT I've been having on and off cramping pains, often in evening / night, and usually my right side. They were making me nervous but from googling seems quite common! Also was getting hammered by nausea the last couples days, ended up throwing up my work Xmas lunch 🥲 I usually love my food, esp at Christmas!

I managed to get myself in a panic last night thinking that I was going to have another early loss. Got a clearblue +3 result today which is further than I've ever got before, though I know these aren't always reliable / can't predict the future!

I know now I really just have to step back from tests and googling and see what happens. Easier said than done of course!

Anyway sending anyone who needs it a hand squeeze today 💛

TheBirdintheCave · 07/12/2022 11:12

Baby, yolk sac and heartbeat all present and correct. Measuring exactly as I should be 🥰🥰 The relief is ridiculous. No explanation for the bleeding.

So far so good!

Thank you for all the hand holding guys, I really appreciate it.
