Can’t believe we’re onto a second thread already. Hope this doesn’t put any newbies off, as I don’t think we’re even halfway through possible due dates yet. Anyone welcome to join in.

I wanted to start off by reassuring TheBirdintheCave that I have no nausea either and had none whatsoever all through my last pregnancy. Thinking of you and hoping your current fears turn out to be for nothing. xx

@TheBirdintheCave oh that is such amazing news!! I’m so so happy for you xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 07/12/2022 11:27

@ChloeN Now the only question is do I keep taking the cyclogest :/ I have enough to last until our next scan at eight weeks.

Amme18 · 07/12/2022 11:48

@TheBirdintheCave so relieved for you!

my LB due date was 4th Aug so did summer pregnancy already 😅 actually wasn’t too bad…with a 3 year old running around probably not as relaxing 🤣

Alpacabag22 · 07/12/2022 11:49

@TheBirdintheCave so happy to hear it went well. Hope you get some time to relax now 💛

Mulner88 · 07/12/2022 12:00

@TheBirdintheCave that's great news, you must be so relieved ☺️

Mulner88 · 07/12/2022 12:02

Yeh I'm terrible in the heat! Much prefer colder climate so we shall see 🙈 I really struggled during the heatwave this year when I wasn't pregnant and every time I saw a pregnant person, I really felt for them 😂

PumpkinEverything · 07/12/2022 12:05

So glad all went okay @TheBirdintheCave i hope it’s given you some relief and reassurance 😊😊

DesertSnow · 07/12/2022 12:14

Yay that's great news @TheBirdintheCave!

Congrats @WonderfulSummer! A magical time. I got married a month ago, conceived on our minimoon 5 days later. We were trying before the wedding so it didn't happen straight away, but right now the timing just feels amazing.

I've been feeling nauseous right up until I eat something, then I don't want to stop eating! Anyone else?

SnowL2021 · 07/12/2022 12:18

I’ve not had any nausea either. Think I got it around six and a half weeks with my son (currently six weeks with this pregnancy).

Amazing news @TheBirdintheCave . so glad it went well for you.

AnnieApple123 · 07/12/2022 12:26

So glad all is well @TheBirdintheCave . Been thinking of you and just came on to check.

Am in a rush so I’m afraid I'm going to be lazy today and just say welcome to all newbies collectively.

@TheBirdintheCave absolutely amazing news - what a relief and a heartbeat too!!! How exciting worth the £110!!! And now you can breathe xxxxx

sally16 · 07/12/2022 12:34

@TheBirdintheCave so pleased for you!!!

heand2022 · 07/12/2022 12:40

Ahhh ladies all the responses of hardly any nausea are so good to hear. I've had a few bits of it but nothing major, boobs are on and off too and apart from AF still not making an appearance I just look like I'm massively bloated. I suffer with IBS so that's not new to me either. Can't wait for my early scan I just want it now! Trying to not book another for this weekend but in reality I can't afford it 😂

@TheBirdintheCave SO glad to hear the good news! Congratulations, was thinking about you this morning

BusyBushBaby · 07/12/2022 12:44

Just checking in with the new thread. So glad your scan this morning was positive @TheBirdintheCave

sally16 · 07/12/2022 13:17

So.. I'm confused.. why does everything day 4 weeks but show the 5 week pictures? 🫠

Jadeelx · 07/12/2022 13:26

@TheBirdintheCave so relieved and happy for you!

heand2022 · 07/12/2022 13:30

@sally16 I thought this too! No idea 😂

Muddydogwalks · 07/12/2022 13:41

Hi everyone, joining onto this thread. I’m due 9th august. Only symptoms I’ve had so far is needing a wee all the time and not sleeping well.

Sjw30 · 07/12/2022 13:42

Please may I join ☺️. I’m due approx 11th august making me 4+5. It’s our first baby and feeling quite nervous, plus it took us 2.5 years to conceive after being told it would be unlikely, so still feels surreal.

I am feeling nauseous most of the time, don’t have a great appetite but trying to eat little and often. I also have tender boobs, headaches and cramping that feels a bit like period cramps.

I am not sure if I should worry about line progression, how often should I test to check or should I give up to save my stress? I’ve had very strong lines from the day I tested, I left it a day and tested again the line is still very strong and the same as previous, so I’m not too concerned, just doesn’t appear to have for stronger?

Congratulations everyone ☺️

ChloeN · 07/12/2022 13:47

@TheBirdintheCave do you think you could phone epu and ask or would they shout at you for taking something you haven’t been perscribed this time?🤣

@Sjw30 thats amazing, bet you can’t believe it! I tested everyday at the start but I found at 9dpo so was all very early, after 4 weeks I didn’t bother as much because I feel like there’s only so dark they can get!

Sjw30 · 07/12/2022 13:50

@ChloeN we really can’t! As wasn’t expecting it (actually waiting for an IVF appointment) I didn’t test until approx 16dpo! Thank you for replying. I think I’ll do another in a couple days and try relax a little!

girlshelpxx · 07/12/2022 14:04

has anyone started taking their folic acid? doctor recommended pregnacare but i couldn't find it anywhere so i got steven seas , seems to be the same i’m hoping it is , anyone used this one before ?

TheBirdintheCave · 07/12/2022 14:30

@ChloeN I think they would shout at me 😅 The plan is to take it anyway since I have it left over and then imply that that's what the private scan place suggested, then ask if I can get another prescription.

I keep reminding myself that bleeding + previous miscarriage + viable pregnancy = NICE guidelines recommendation of progesterone anyway.

@girlshelpxx I've been taking it since three months before we started trying, so about a year and two months 😂 Definitely start taking some if you haven't already, they do all tend to be the same so the brand name shouldn't matter :)

@Sjw30 We were told conceiving naturally would be impossible too. It's an incredible feeling to realise that the doctors were wrong. Congratulations :D

TurkeyTrouble · 07/12/2022 14:31

I'm due on 01/08! And to celebrate my spine has decided to slip a disc.. I seriously hope it clears up before I start getting big.. congrats/good luck to everyone xxx

LMM91x · 07/12/2022 14:36

@TurkeyTrouble OMG you poor thing !! Hope it’s not too painful and resolves quickly!!! Congrats💕
